Great staff, great service, beautiful office.

My baby girl was the most sweetest, strong and engertic lasha apso that I had every owned and loved so much. She was the key to my happiness and distraction. All of my family and friends had enjoyed her company and wildness since she was 6 weeks old to 14 years old. Unfortunately, she had became ill and had to be put down on the 10th September of this year because her cancer had spread all over her chest and into her brain. Life is not fair, but I know that baby is in a unique place that is connected with heaven and earth which is called the Rainbow Bridge. I know she will be with me no matter. Hopefully we will meet again. Biggest thank you to all Family Pet Hospital staff members and MD's that had tried to use their knowledgable, compassionate, and kind hearted skills to save baby's life and peacefully end her suffering ???? I hope you guys will continue on going above and beyond treating and saving animals. God bless you all and keep up the hard work!

Family Pet Hospital is the only place I will take our Dog and cats, they are wonderful.

Our family initially liked this vet in our first visit with our beloved dog Simba. They gave us a diagnosis on why he hasn't been feeling himself lately. Unfortunately, our Simba passed away three days after his first visit. The pain of having your dog pass away is unbearable sometimes and you expect the veterinarians to take GOOD care of your dog in the process of getting his ashes. There was a HUGE miscommunication even though on the paper WE SIGNED, said we wanted his ashes and we were told that the paw print was COMPLIMENTARY. Unfortunately, that was incorrect this pet hospital just seemed to "forget" that this was complimentary and did not do this for our dog. Our family is still devastated that our dog passed away and now we don't even get his paw print?!? I thought it was VERY unprofessional that they could mess something up like this! This is not acceptable AT ALL! Now we are not only sad about our dog but sad that we don't have a meaningful paw print to keep of our beloved Simba. We didnt want anything they had to offer (such as extras you can put on the urn like jewls) we were thinking of bringing in our other dogs but we are not anymore. Please if you're considering this pet hospital to take care of your dog after death, just a reminder they may "forget" to do the complimentary paw print that they say they would. As a family we understand that mistakes happen, but with sensitive things like this should be taken very seriously and need to double check with the family to make sure they have the information correct! Even the letter given to us had the last name misspelled, just very unprofessional.

We moved to Colorado last year, and Family Pet Hospital was recommended to us, and for that we are GRATEFUL! Dr. Abernathy and the rest of her staff are amazing! Warm, compassionate, professional, truly the best! Both Teddy and I are always treated with the utmost respect and kindness! Highly recommend!!

We have been a client for both our dogs for the last 3 years. Dr Abernathy is responsive, caring and always has our dogs best interest. Both of our dogs enjoy going to the vet, which has not been the case at other vets. We would highly recommend family pet hospital!!!

Have a very angry little kitty but he was treated gently for his checkup. Just vaccines have been so stressful for him in the past but they even got blood from him and he's not even mad at me! Thanks FPH!

Brought in my super scaredy dog for internment limping and I was really apprehensive. She wouldn't even walk for the Doc she was so scared, but the vet sat down on the floor until my baby army crawled to her. She was warm and took us seriously about her pain but also made a great plan for our next visits so Remmy wouldn't be so scared. Definitely ask about their "happy visits" or whatever theyre called of you've got nervous pups.

I’ve been to a lot of vets in the area and this is by far and away the most kind, caring and thoughtful one that I have found! All of the staff are incredibly helpful and take their time with you to answer questions. The office is very warm and super spacious after their expansion to allow for multiple doors for entry and exit. They always make my dog (and me) feel so welcome and cared for. I’m so sad to be moving and not be able to take them with me! So Highly recommended!

I started my care here during the end of my last dog’s life. He was terminally ill and I felt he needed a more compassionate staff to help him through his final days. I currently bring my new dog here and am so happy! I trust the care of the nurses and doctors, and when I go, they treat me with great respect regardless of how little I know about animals, the questions I ask, or my appearance. They truly just want to take care of my dog and they do an amazing job doing so. I couldn’t recommend FPH enough!

Left a long time Vet clinic that I always thought did a good job, then I found this clinic and realized the others can't compare. They have made such a natural and low stress environment for the pups hands down best Vet on the front range!

Dr. Abernathy is hands down one of the best vets I have ever had the privilege to know! I was a CVT years ago so I know a good one when I see them! You will not be disappointed in her care for your fur baby!

My first time visiting was during Covid -- and as with my prior vet is a bit unusual in that you need to stay outside the entire time. But despite Covid protocols, Dr. Abernathy and staff were great at keeping me informed on my little guy's progress and treatment options.

Consumer beware! This practice uses tricky linguistics to get people to think they have to pay for more than they actually need to!

There aren't enough words to express how pleased and grateful we are with our experience at Family Pet Hospital! Dr. Abernathy and her staff were fantastic from start to finish. Our cat, Hubble, has always been shy and timid. During 2020, Hubble had a skin growth that developed and after Thanksgiving, we noticed his tooth was swollen. His first appointment was handled with such gentleness and understanding. At his first appointment and through email we formulated a treatment plan for Hubble. I, myself, can be a helicopter-mom in regard to my cats. I had a lot of questions and phone calls about his treatment plan. The staff was genuine and assisted with all of my questions wonderfully. Before Christmas, Hubble underwent anesthesia and had his skin growth and bad tooth removed. Dr. Abernathy did an incredible job during his procedure. He is now healed and beyond happy! Prior to our visit at Family Pet Hospital, we were nervous what vet could handle and understand Hubble's bashful nature. We are so thankful for the treatment and care that was provided. Our appreciation is immense. 100% recommend Family Pet Hospital!

My dog absolutely loves it here. I joke that we're regulars, but I visit probably once a month and everyone that works there is so friendly and kind. They listen, address all of my concerns, and are super patient with me. I love this clinic and recommend it to everyone I know.

We adopted a working cat (feral) and noticed she looked a little sick in our first week of having her. Family Pet did an amazing job with her and did a full evaluation to uncover all the issues she might be having. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. This is the vet to go to!

I had to bring my cat in for a follow up from the emergency vet, and everyone was so helpful and caring towards my Baby Kitty! They have also been in touch at least 3 times to see how he is doing and we got him on a new food! He is all better now and definitely will continue to take him here!????????

Brought my 17 year old kitty, Mandy, in for a check up. We saw Dr Cross who is amazing. The facility is bright, clean, and friendly with plenty of parking out front. The staff is attentive and we were well taken care of. Great experience.

She was taken care of so beautifully by all of you, as all of our animal family has been, and we can't thank you enough for all you do for us and for the community.
