This was the 3rd time we used Crystal groomer and owner. She shaved our dog. Did not use any kind of guard. Some areas shaved to the skin. Some areas too long. Nails not done when we asked her to. Shaved off her eyelashes. Took her the next day to another groomer to do her nails and they asked if we cut her hair. We said no and it was done the day before. They said that doodles shouldn’t be cut that short and it was an awful cut. Also her pad on her heel was cut. Will never use her again! She was rushing. Amazed she didn’t cut our dogs skin. Awful groomer. Do not take your dogs here !!! In response to your response…. We picked her up and it’s difficult to assess a dog who is excited to come home. Was dark outside so couldn’t look at her until we got home to assess. We did address with you less than. 24 hours after we picked her up. If you take pride in your work then you should have looked closely at her before you said you were done. Messed up hair and eyelashes and tails can not be fixed right away. They have to grow back. An apology would have been nice rather than Blaming on the owner. Situation is just poor…..

The absolute best! I have one dog with separation anxiety and one dog that blind and they do very well here! Their cuts are always perfect. They do get booked out very far but if you plan ahead it’s not a problem.

Super unreliable and unprofessional when dealing with scheduling issues. Today I was called because they needed to cancel and reschedule my dogs grooming appointment this week. They gave me one time option and I could not make it work because of work. They proceeded to tell me they’d put me on the wait list or I’d have to reschedule for another 8-10 weeks out. Again, this was their own scheduling issue and they didn’t have the decency to figure out a way to fit in my appointment this week though I scheduled it 10 weeks in advanced. The Woman I spoke to was also very rude and did not try to trouble shoot the problem they made. This also isn’t the first time they’ve called me about rescheduling either. I had to reschedule my last appointment for their convenience. They also tend to call me day of the grooming asking me to drop off earlier or later. Super unprofessional- I will be taking my business else where. This was the last straw :in reply: I know it was due to a unfortunate circumstance but the rudeness with your employee that called and unwillingness to help me find a better time slot while on the phone with me is unacceptable. I was empathetic towards the situation but being told “there’s nothing we can do and we are frustrated as a team trying to resolve this” is very unprofessional. What do you say to the other scheduling issues I’ve had too? I think that you asking to troubleshoot the problem now after a bad review is very telling. This should have been done yesterday on the phone.

They still charged me full price after they cut my yorkie! And they didn’t tell me about it until I had already paid in full. The girl Rebecca who did act like oh well sorry type of attitude. No wonder he was going crazy after they were done. He never acts like that. When I got home Ali noticed another nic cut on him. This place is a rip off.

I made an appointment here for my cat for a nail trim. When I showed up, the groomer who was scheduled for the trim was not there. Barky Mountain contacted me offering a free trim to make up for it. I agreed and rescheduled, deciding to give the place a second chance. When I showed up the second time, I was not in the schedule. Luckily, a groomer there was able to see my cat on the fly; however, I ended up paying for what was supposed to be a complimentary trim. While the groomer who took care of my cat was lovely, my overall experience here left me feeling frustrated. There was no reason for a simple nail trim to become such a headache.

I have been to many groomers through out my life and this one by FAR cares about your dogs and they do an excellent job at grooming. No scary cages, or grumpy groomers. Definitely worth the price and they are normally booked out months in advance so book your appointments out far and you'll be golden. And your dog will be a happy pup Here is a before and after????

I've only been once but they did a really great job. My dog looks great and smells amazing. And it was cheaper than the last place I went. They'll even brush your dog's teeth(for a small fee)! I've already scheduled our next visit. They fill up quickly because they do a great job for a fair price.

The groomers here are wonderful. Everyone is friendly and professional. More importantly, they are able to keep my nervous dog calm. Other places have man-handled him, but they are very gentle and careful at Barky Mountain. The price is appropriate.

I am so so happy that I found this place! My 5 month old pup just got back from being groomed and they did amazing. It was his first time getting any professional grooming and Maddie was super thorough, listened to what we wanted, and my dog loved her. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I took my two dogs Lolli and Jasper to her and let me tell you I’ve never experienced such a more professional groomer. My dogs came home looking so refreshed and fabulous! I recommend her to all my friends and family!

12/31/2020 It was my cat, Halo's first time going to Barky Mountain. Tori did a wonderful job with her and got all the problem spots while still keeping Halo comfortable. I already have another appointment booked for February 2021.

Our first trip to Barky Mountain. My pup needed a shave since he was really matted. He came home calm and happy! He looks sweet too. Price is reasonable as well. Saw lots of poodles and doodles in the shop. Staff is really kind and on top of things.

Absolutely outstanding! Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has received both nail trims and grooming services. Thus we are repeat clients. "First available appointments" are not always with the same groomer, therefore we've used a different groomer each time. Each time the groomer has worked to ensure my requests and style of cut were achieved. But most importantly, my dog felt safe and comfortable. I definitely believe the staff enjoy what they do and love animals. It shows in the work they do and how the animals are treated. Highly recommend and a big thank you to BMG!! ????????

They are amazing! Very fast turn around. None of this come back in 4 hours! The groomer listened to me on how we wanted our dogs hair done. I could not ask for a better experience.

Owner and staff incompetent. Owner talked over me the entire time. They cancelled my appt two days before the date due to Corona which is understandable. At that time, I was told that they were closing until May 1st but would reaching out to all of their scheduled appointments first to rebook and if I was interested, I emphatically replied yes. Never received a call. Called in today to be told that the next available appointments is the 23rd. I asked how I went from an appt two days away to over a month away. No reason given. Spoke with the owner who was rude and talked over me the whole time. I asked about the original plan and why it wasn't adhered to. I received excuse after excuse. Moved on to a different groomer. In times like this, the focus should be on your customers not a $$$$.

We recommend Barky Mountain to everyone! Both of our mini-golden doodles love to see Chelsea and she does an amazing job. We appreciate that they do not crate the dogs before or after their appointments. Clean, friendly, and locally-owned! ????

We’ve had both our doodles Beaux and Belle groomed here, and they always do a fantastic job! They always do what I ask, and the dogs smell so great for a long time! Prices are fantastic too!
