Professional supportive staff, clean facility that's calming and inviting.

Five stars is not enough for this team! I took my sweet boy to Dr. Wilks on my in laws recommendation. Brutus Bear (my dog) was given the best care and so much love in his time there. Dr. Wilks is thorough, explains diagnoses, procedures and risks with truth and compassion. My boy beat one cancer to be blind sided by another and unfortunately his older body couldn’t handle it. The team not only comforted Bear but they cared for me during the euthanasia and even after. I’ve received multiple calls just checking on me. They truly love what they do and the animals they care for. Dr. Wilks, Melanie, Morgan and Laneesa are the staff members I worked the most with and I can’t thank them enough. You are angels on Earth.

BEST VET IN DENVER METRO! Everyone was so friendly and had great communication! They fixed my kitty, Hector Cornbread right up after some anal gland complications- and for a veryyy reasonable price! The vet gave great recommendations and I’m seeing differences in my cats behavior on day 2! THEYRE THE BEST!! 10/10!

The staff at Littleton West Animal Hospital truly knows how to offer the highest quality of care and a positive experience to both clients and their patients. We began using this clinic early this year, and thus have done our services curbside which have all been exceptionally well handled. I'll be the first to admit I've got quite a high maintenance crew, but every question or concern I've had they've answered without missing a beat, especially Melanie and Tammi. The level of detail and accuracy within their work is consistently above and beyond from the receptionists, to techs, and up to the doctors. I've never once had to call back for something not being handled correctly the first time -- quite a feat amidst the stress they must be under adapting to Covid protocol. In terms of vets, we see and highly recommend Dr. Wilks but I have no doubt Dr. Reisig is every bit as helpful based on my experiences with the rest of the staff. As a client, I want to say how much I appreciate the detail and emphasis Dr. Wilks places on client education. It's never a case of "Here's your bloodwork, here's a prescription. We'll see you in four weeks." She takes the time to explain possible causes for ailments, treatment options, pros and cons, and helps you come up with the best possible treatment plan for your situation all while ensuring she's available for any questions that may arise during treatment. Finding a veterinarian that will consistently slow down and take the time to educate you as an owner is so hard to find, but she is truly outstanding in this area -- among many others. The genuine care every single staff member has for their job and their patients does not go unnoticed and reflects highly upon the clinic as well as its management. To give an example, they've sent me photos of my pets when we weren't able to be inside for their care and even mailed us back a cat toy we'd left while at an appointment. It's the little things that make the difference, and LWAH staff members go the extra mile every time. Littleton is so fortunate to have such a wonderful, caring, competent team of providers available to their pets. Even if you don't live in the surrounding area, this clinic is well worth the drive for your pet's health and your peace of mind.

I arrived for my scheduled appointment. I walked in the front door and was immediately rudely told to wait outside and to call. I called and was sent to voicemail. I waited 20 minutes before being acknowledged. The last time I had a prescription refilled I was given the wrong one?

My 8 year old cat Louise recently had her first dental cleaning and needed extractions, which we expected since she never really chewed her food and had increasingly bad breath. During her annual check up, we discussed the dental procedure and I was really worried about having Louise under anesthesia. Dr. Reisig answered all of our questions and was patient with me during my emotional concerns. I really appreciated her open and professional nature. She never made me feel out of line by asking too many questions. I just wanted to make sure that Louise was going to be in good hands - and she was. The morning of the dental work, we arrived and were greeted by Melanie with a lot of procedural information to know exactly what Louise was going to have done. During the day, my husband worked from home to receive phone calls from the vet about how Louise was doing and if she needed any extractions. He got a call (and texted me with updates) when Dr. Reisig was going to perform the necessary extractions, when Louise was done with surgery, and a photo when she was in recovery. All of these calls were really comforting during a stressful day. Louise has been recovering really well and we can't thank the Littleton West Animal Hospital team enough for making sure our furry family member was so well cared for.

I was recommended to come here by the shelter I adopted my cat from. The staff are all kind and handle the animals with the utmost care. My cat is terrified of new people, but she seems genuinely unafraid of the nurses or the doctor. 10/10

We are so happy we chose Littleton West Animal Hospital for our puppy, Piper. A friend recommended Littleton West and we had a wonderful first visit. The team took the time to get to know me and Piper. This is my first dog and the team took time to give me helpful pointers, training tips and ways to make Piper more comfortable for her next visit. I loved how they wanted me to work on skills that would make future visits easier for everyone. Unfortunately, we had to visit this week for a sick visit. They were easily able to fit us in the same day and showed true compassion while trying to figure out what was wrong with our little girl. We are so happy we chose Littleton West Animal Hospital!

I brought my cat in after she suddenly became ill. We hadn't been there in 3 years, but it was still the same friendly staff and they remembered us. They quickly diagnosed my cat's illness and devised a treatment plan that kept her comfortable in her final weeks. They were genuinely concerned for her and sent me a heartfelt card when she passed away. If you are looking for a knowledgeable vet team that truly cares about your pet, look no further. The facilities are modern and clean. They are upfront about costs and procedures. They will help you make logical decisions about treatment. I would absolutely trust them in the future when I open my heart to another kitty.

I got my cat when she was 4months old and have been bringing her here ever since. The staff love her, wish I could say my cat felt the same way, but she knows why shes there. Even so, the staff are always friendly, understanding, helpful with tips and tricks and just generally awesome. Their patience with animals is commendable and they really know what they are doing.

This place is amazing! Each staff member is so nice, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I always feel very comfortable leaving my dog in their care. I moved here 6 months ago and my Dalmatian needed TPLO surgery for his knee as soon as we moved to CO. They repaired it and he has recovered tremendously with their help and instruction. Being a Dalmatian, he is prone to urinary crystals. He ended up getting blocked so I had to get him help quickly so my poor guy could pee. They were able to squeeze him in the same day and take the extra time to treat him (as it took much longer than anticipated due to the severity). My dog tends to be neurotic at times and has never like the vet until this place. He actually likes the staff and doesn’t seem scared when in the waiting rooms. The facility is much nicer than any other vets I’ve been to! “Wood” floors instead of the typical tile really class the place up. They schedule their appointments well because there is never a buildup of people and pets waiting in the lobby which is nice. I’ve never encountered a vet both my dog and I have loved this much. Everyone (staff and customers) always look happy too. I highly recommend going here if you’re searching for a place right now!

Got my dog a TPLO, I'm verry happy with the results.

I was needing a new vet. They offered solutions for my dog that in 4 years my other vet never suggested to help my dog with a re-occurring diarrhea problem. They suggest food to help with that. They gave me extra medicine for if this happens again so I would be prepared. My other vet never did these things! Very great service and nice staff! We have a surgury setup for teeth cleaning and mass removal! I think Eazy E will be in good hands!

We recently had to find a local vet to take our cat Ophelia to that was well-rated and nearby. We are SO THANKFUL to have found Littleton West Animal Hospital and have only had exceptional experiences with this office. The office is well-organized and the staff/vets go above and beyond to ensure that our kitty is well taken care of whether she's just passing through for a short appointment or staying for a longer day. She had to spend a day at the vet for a small surgery and has also been to this office for a few checkups, and at each visit the staff and vets were friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, and transparent. Before each appointment we received a reminder call and the office never failed to call a day after the appointment to checkup on Ophelia. This staff is genuine and a pleasure to do business with... we'll be sad to be moving away soon , but had to leave a review to encourage others to visit this vet if they're in the market for a new one. By far, it's been our favorite vet experience we've had! Thank you!!
