Everyone working there takes cares and loves the animals. Each animal there are love in even if they take a bit of time to get it when they can get adopted for an amazing family. The dogs that I have walked are so sweet and amzing.

I haven't had much experience with this place but when I stop by regularly to drop off some things for the animals and staff I observe quite a few volunteers walking dogs and spending time with them. I spoke with the staff a few times and they appear to be friendly and caring. It makes me feel very sad knowing that so many animals are waiting for that special person or family that could change their lives forever. They deserve to live a good life and we should make an effort to make that happen. So please, consider adopting an animal from a shelter.

My foster pup Oreo needed an amputation after being hit by a car as a pup. The rescue picked HSSPV and they did a great job, made sure she was comfortable and answered my email quickly when I was concerned about swelling. They remembered her and gave her lots of love when she came back to get her staples out.

I've adopted two pets here. Staff is really great!

Busy yes, but that didn't deter the amount of great service we received. They took great care of our lil puppy who we took to get spayed.

What a great place! It was my first visit to this shelter and I was impressed. The very busy staff took their time to give us a tour of their facility. It was so clean and more impressive was the amount of Volenteers that they have. I spoke to a few of these Heros, they all LOVE helping this wonderful shelter. If I lived closer I too would go several days a week to give there scared precious little beings a ray of hope. Thank you to everyone we had the pleasure of meeting and I hope you enjoyed the little treat we brought. If not in the position to give an animal a forever home think about giving a little of your time. You can take a dog for a walk or hold a cat in your arms so they know you care..... Stay safe and thank You for your time.

Great place to adopt a dog!

I had a wonderful experience with HSSPV when adopting a dog. The volunteers are very kind and helpful. Our new family member, Frankie, is very happy in her forever home, and that would not have been possible without HSSPV saving her and helping to give her a new lease on life!

They help my dog Lucy to end her suffering. Very compassionate people works in the Humane Society. They were respectful and understanding in this very sad situation. Thanks to everybody that works there.

I was really impressed with this place! Well cared for animals, clean establishment, and friendly volunteers. We went in to pick up a pup and had a chance to visit with the cats as well. It was by far the cleanest animal shelter I've ever been to! Impressively, even the cat room smelled freshly cleaned and sanitized. The staff was also friendly and the prices for medical services we're on the lower end, which can be very helpful for low income families. The only downfall of this location is that the wait time was a bit on the longer side. Overall, I would definitely recommend using their animal medical services and considering adopting one of the sweet babes here.

My Boston terrier was involved in an accident and taken here by police. I was freaked out. However, the folks here took very good care of her and she did not freak out. The women at the front desk were especially professional. I also noted various other men and women carrying for the animals here. Is am so thankful my dog is fine and we'll cared for. Bless you all.

Went to 4 places today trying to get a dog and when I was there first trying to get a dog they drew a name out of a hat to decide between me and someone else and I lost, day is ruined and now I’m without dog to keep me company Thanks!

Experience was good, Paula was very helpful. I felt more confident in the process. We didn’t have to pay a dime until we visited with puppy and decided to adopt. The adoption agencies (from Petfinders) want you to pay before you visit with dogs or adopt.

Incredible shelter. They go above and beyond to do right by the animals. The staff and volunteers are so helpful and it feels good to make a difference!
