The vet here saved the life of one of my cats, that alone is reason why I bring my animals to them

Had a great experience with my dog at Columbine Animal Hospital. He can be a nervous dog but the veterinarian, Dr. Perrow was awesome with him and so knowledgeable. Everyone from the front desk staff to the technicians were great!

They take the best care of all my animals. Been going here my whole life and haven't had a bad experience.

Angel dog got her teeth cleaned this week. She was anesthetized and therefore a bit groggy, which was to be expected.. I was given a pre and post conference so I would know what to expect. Her teeth are so much better and so is her breath.. The treatment was exceptional and everyone at this animal care practice works hard and is very helpful.

Lots of new faces. It's time to reopen your lobby and let owners come in with their pets. Everywhere is open except for you guys. We expect more!

We have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Perrow for years. She is very caring and professional. She really takes her time with her patients as well as the owners. She explains everything so we understand and feel comfortable with her recommendations. The staff at CAH is very good too and always gets us in in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Perrow and the team at Columbine Animal Hospital.

Have seen three vets at this practice with in the last year. Each one gave me contradictory information regarding my dogs cancer diagnosis. One contradicted the other and said I was wasting money with our existing treatment plan. Columbine Animal Hospital’s parent company, Blue River, is more concerned is more concerned with their profitability and not my dogs well being. I wish I would have never I trusted my pets health to Columbine Animal Hospital.

Called for some blood work and dental, and still haven't heard anything back. I'm to a point now where I'm just going to go elsewhere regardless of IF I ever get a return call

I used to take my pup here and had such a great experience. Earlier this week I was trying to schedule an appointment for my dog and it was extremely difficult. They keep closing days down and not answering the phone when I call. I found out today they aren’t even available between the hours of 12 and 2! That’s crazy! When I finally got through to someone to book an appointment I found out all the old doctors I used to see have left. I just don’t trust the clinic anymore. It seems very unorganized.

It’s been 5 days and still haven’t received a call back! I called during business hours and no one answered so I left a message regarding my dog possibly having an ear infection. Apparently this was not as important to you as it was me! Don’t worry about it! I found a vet that cares! You definitely lost my business!

Been taking our pets here for years. We always felt like we were celebrities when we showed up. We received immediate help even in non-emergency situations. However over the last year it seems there has been tremendous turn-over with the staff, and consequently the customer service has gone downhill. I called at noon today and said my dog has been in pain for the last 12 hours , probably related to an existing condition, and asked if could I bring him in today or tomorrow. The receptionist said, "No we don't have anything available. You should probably bring him to urgent care." That has never happened in the last 6 years we've been going here. They used to say, Yes! Bring him in. We'll find time. So I went online and searched Emergency Vet-Littleton; and guess what Animal hospital showed up first?...Columbine Animal Hospital!

Great veterinarian clinicians. Very friendly, found issues with my dog that other vets have missed over literal years. My dog no longer has the issues he had before.

I foster dogs and once I learned that the Vets at Columbine Animal Hospital offered discount services to rhe foster organization I was "sold." It was because of this that we began taking our own pets to Columbine and have done so now for 3 years. Although Dr. Lee retired earlier this year (he was our dogs' vet), there are other Vets such as Dr. Dan who are filling his shoes with caring bedside manner and love for the furry companions he treats.

2017: Ok clinical experience. We had our kitty fixed and declawed. They made the experience so nice for us, but not our kitty. They said return if she was experiencing pain, but shouldn't because of the laser treatment, but didn't …

New management is completely heartless. They used to care about clients and their clients’ owners. Unfortunately, this is clearly not the case anymore. If you are looking for a new Vet, save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere.

Took our healthy 7 1/2 year Maltese in for a routine dental. He did not return home to us alive. No underlying conditions, he had his annual vaccinations and check three weeks earlier, all was fine. Dental was recommended. Took him in at 8 and he was gone by 1030am. Yes, we signed the waiver, but, as always you do not expect this result from a healthy pet. Heck you sign waivers for colonoscopies, but don't expect to not come home if you are healthy. In my heart I feel they did something wrong, why would they pay for his cremation costs? This has been more than devastating, and we are having a hard time...he was our constant companion and greatly loved and adored by many. Looks like I have to select a star rating, but really would like to do a minus 10.

We will never go back. We had used them for a few years, but seemed to get charged an arm and a leg for EVERYTHING. We were told our dog could possibly have meningitis....Although every time we brought her back in it was muscular pain. This last visit with my toy poodle was the final straw. I wouldn't trust this clinic, or their ethics. I am not one to complain, however I've had it with price gouging, scare tactics, and judgement. We will never be back nor recommend this clinic to anyone.

I have taken both of my cats and dogs to Columbine Animal Hospital and have had great experiences every time. The whole team is professional, and I never have trouble getting the appointments I need. They also always get back to me quickly when I call with questions or concerns. Most recently, one of my dogs started having issues with stiffness and difficulty walking. It just so happens that this dog also has severe fear aggression, despite ongoing behavior modification therapy. Needless to say, taking him to a vet clinic is a dreaded experience for us. Leading up to his first appointment and each one thereafter, Dr. Dan took the time to have multiple very long and detailed conversations with me over the phone, and we came up with a plan that I was comfortable with and that would be as atraumatic as possible for my pup. There was no question that he truly cares about his patients and has their best interest in mind. At his appointments, Dr. Dan was gentle and caring with my dog, and handled his aggression very well. I was extremely impressed. He did a full workup on him, and then referred him to a neurologist (and gave me his honest opinion about which neurologists he would and would not recommend). He also took his time talking through the differential diagnosis with me. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Dan. He made our experience seamless when it could have been a complete nightmare. He is thorough, kind, and truly caring.

Hands down best Doberman ear cropping in Colorado! Our dobie’s ears turned out amazing. I came in wanting a long show crop and the doc advised me a medium/short show crop would look better with her head shape. I trusted him and he delivered. Stunning all grown up. Perfect length.

Outstanding care and treatment of our cat! From the initial technician greeting and information-taking to the doctors. In particular, Dr. Christine Ford's care, diagnosis and treatment was very thorough. Her patience and friendly manner in explaining her findings and treatment protocol was much appreciated!

I brought my new puppy to this animal hospital because several years back, they treated our lab who has since passed away. Without reading reviews, I decided based on my previous experiences that I could trust this place with my new puppy. She got her shots and I guess she was treated well as, understandably we cannot go in with our pets however, I felt the staff were indifferent and aggravated when I asked questions. The real tell-all was when I needed to schedule for a procedure and was told that I couldn't until I talked with the surgeon, even though my puppy had been tested and blood work was done, she couldn't get an appointment without talking with the surgeon? Weeks later and after many non-returned calls, AND getting promises that the surgeon would call me back, I decided to call another animal hospital who immediately scheduled the appointment, I didn't need to talk with a surgeon, and all they needed were my puppy's records. I called CAH and told them to forward the records and was told that the surgeon was just about to call me, (really?). I said to forward the records anyway. After hanging up I immediately get a call from CAH saying that my puppy just so happened to be on the schedule for this procedure, for the following week and that they overlooked her appointment. So it took me calling them to have her records transferred to get any type of a response? Even without talking to the surgeon? I am confused by the whole thing, WOW...thank goodness this wasn't a serious issue, and I was able to find a solution despite their incompetence, (another Vet). As stressful as it was to try and get a routine procedure done, it just breaks my heart reading some of these comments with serious issues and am so sorry...

I was totally blown off. I called yesterday when a dog groomer mistakenly wiped our dog's mouth with a cotton ball saturated with medical grade disinfectant instead of peroxide. I called to speak to a doctor about what to do (e.g., have him drink water, signs of poisoning, etc). I was told (at 5:30) that they close at 6:00 and the doctor was busy. I asked if the doctor could call me when s/he was done with the appointment. I was told "No - call animal poison control" and she gave me the 888 number. I called them and they wanted to charge $75! So I called back and they referred me to CVSG. I called them and immediately spoke to a medical technician who looked up the cleaner and told me what to watch for and that our dog would be OK because of the dilution % and small amount used in his mouth. No charge. I have been coming here for over 4 years with 2 dogs. I am now rethinking this relationship. Certainly not feeling the love or care about my dogs. How about calling me at 6:00 on your drive home to make sure my dog does not die??? :(!!!! This was terribly disappointing. I had had very positive experiences and am disappointed in this behavior.

Edit: The response to this post is just ridiculous. My animal has been seen by a vet who prescribes the proper medication. There is no "fine tuning" of equipment when doing a blood-glucose test. I just needed a close location to have a test done at. I offered to get her records transferred which would have all the information you could have possibly needed but that wasn't taking enough money from me. You think you can make this sound complicated and get me to pay more. There's no reason you couldn't have done a blood-glucose test. If you cared about animals at all you would have done the test but you care about taking money from people so you refused unless I paid more. It's a shame how many of these places are trying to take every dime they can. I was told I could bring my cat in for a simple glucose test and made sure they weren't going to charge me for an exam as well since that was unnecessary. When I arrived I was told the only way to do this simple test was to also have me pay for a full exam. I have a regular vet but I needed to find a closer facility to do a blood test on my cat since she doesn't travel well. Such a waste of my time. It's a shame so many of these places couldn't care less about your pets or you.
