I cannot say enough what incredible service we've gotten here. Our dog is a COVID pup so we actually have never been able to go in for his checkups/shots, but he LOVES going to the vet, so we know he's getting incredible care. On top of that, we're always able to call when we have questions, and are able to keep our sanity when he gets into something he shouldn't... They don't try to tell you to come in if your dog doesn't need it, and give clear guidance on how to proceed. Do yourself a favor and come to this vet hospital. We drive down from Lakewood and it's always worth it. Thank you so much!!

I have taken both my dogs here and the service and genuine love and care they show for your animals is immediately apparent. I'm moving from Littleton to Wheat Ridge and I will keep taking my dog to them and any other animals I will have in the future.

Staff was above and beyond accommodating, professional and friendly. Immediately showed true care and love for my puppy! I made a great choice coming here after reading reviews and now I'm a client for life!

As for quality of veterinary care, CVH gets 4.5 to 5 stars. The 2 star rating has everything to do with prescription costs for my dogs. I have 2 dogs that are on medications. I went to refill one today (a 2 month supply) and the cost had jumped to $177. I did not know the cost had jumped so much before I swiped my card. I questioned the cost and was told that I could get it filled at Costco for cheaper. I called Costco and generic of the same medication would be only $58 for the same 2 month quantity. I asked for a refund of the amount I was paid and was not given it. I will likely continue to use them for care but will be asking for written prescriptions to take elsewhere unless it's an absolute emergency. Also, the COVID protocols are just too much and too excessive given how most everything is fully open. Everything is still done from the car instead of walking inside. Sorry, but if my doctor can see me just fine there's no reason my vet should make me wait in the car.

I am so excited about this vet! Today was our first visit and my German shepherd is dog aggressive. They made sure he didn’t see another dog to make it more smooth and less stressful. Layne was so sweet with him and made the entire experience go stress free for us. Dr Naturman felt so warm and handled him so gently while still being able to perform a thorough exam. She is so knowledgeable and able to answer my question about a spot on his leg and even gave me affordable suggestions for joint health. The two as a whole were an awesome team and I will recommend them all day. Thank you for an amazing vet visit!

1st time there with new pup. Super nice staff, clean facility, and happy with amount of time and responses from Dr O'Neal.

I have two young dogs who have seen several vet offices in town. Dr. Natureman and all her staff are so wonderful here. They have helped with my dogs anxiety and have been great for us. UPDATE: In the last few months both of my dogs have needed this vet office's emergent help. My little dog needed some anesthesia and wound debridement and my big dog needed some x-rays. Both time this office responded to me immediately and were so helpful. We love coming here and know that they will take the best care of our furry family members.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this animal hospital. I've been bringing my pets here for about two years and every single person I've ever talked to has been very sweet, kind, helpful, and understanding. They are great for wellness visits as well as sick visits. They take their time to talk to patients and make sure they answer all their questions. I recommend this vet to anyone looking in the area.

I cannot recommend this veterinary business and will no longer trust the health of my dog to their care. Here are the facts of four separate issues that all happened while my Lab was less than a year old. 1. The first visit was a scheduled wellness checkup for my new puppy. The staff inadvertently canceled the visit. When I showed up I was told I could reschedule or wait to see if they could work me in. I couldn’t take ANOTHER day off so I said I’d wait. Three hours later my puppy was finally seen. 2. I provided them the medical records from the rescue organization and they entered them wrong. They tried to schedule my dog for a shot he already had. 3. Two months ago my puppy got very sick. My call went to voice mail. The recording said they would call back soon. They never called back. 4. Last week my dog was vomiting blood. My call went to voicemail. The recording said they would call back soon. My call was made at 3:30 pm, they are open until 06:00pm. They NEVER called back that day or any day after. After a week I left a voice message with the office manager saying I was going to find a new vet I finally received a callback. 5. The doctors may or may not be competent (I assume they are), but their front office is failing miserably.

The vets are fantastic and they have recently renovated the facility. This Vet Hospital has had a lot of turnover in the last 5 years. I'm happy to say they are back at the top of veterinary services in SW Littleton. Look no further!

We have been a client of the practice for years and have loved the Vets. However, since business was acquired by corporate group prices are higher and we cannot get an appointment for two weeks. Unfortunate, new group is all about the money.

They are the best! The techs are attentive and caring. A nice bunch of people. Dr. Naturman is a top notch vet. I trust all three of my dogs in their care.

The vets seem ok, only had one visit with them. But the daycare should be avoided. I took my 4 month old puppy there (had all his vaccines including kennel cough), and he came home with a nasty cough that has never fully healed over a month later now. He’s been seen by my regular vet and given antibiotics, but the cough still lingers. I was told by the person who scheduled him for daycare that I could pick him up by 6, but then got a frantic call from another employee around 5:30 about why I hadn’t picked him up. They said the person who scheduled me supposedly didn’t enter any information into their system, and that he was only supposed to be there a half day. I wasn’t told that they only have outdoor facilities, so he was left in the cold for too long and then put in a kennel alone for hours where he undoubtedly would’ve cried most of the time and hurt his throat more. When I got there the tech scolded me that he shouldn’t be at an outdoor kennel at this age during winter, and I should keep him home. Considering I was never told it’s an outdoor only facility and the staff were fully aware of his age in his chart, I don’t understand why they would’ve scheduled him in the first place. I work full time and my pup usually stays with a nice family on Rover, and does fantastic there. They were out of town that day, which is why I had to use Chatfield. Maybe they would be ok for older dogs that usually stay outside, but I wouldn’t take young dogs there.

I purposely switched from my old vet to this place specifically because they are so professional with a really nice building, friendly as hell, and they offer so much above and beyond a normal vet. With the pandemic going on they really have a seamless system in place for dropping off your pet with clear instructions in the parking lot and communicating effectively just like you were in the office with them. I love that they call my dog, My Baby, just like she's part of the family, because she IS!

We had been client of Chatfield for 7 years. I called to get a checkup for my dog and was told they are short on vets and couldn't see us in the foreseeable future. No offer for an appointment, just that they were booked. In fact, I was recommended to go to another clinic. At this point I would go somewhere else. Chatfield obviously doesn't need your business or want it. Pretty sad to see.

So far so good, I've been taking my furbabies there for the past few years after Dr. Wilkes moved to another location that is too far for us to accomodate. I haven't had any procedures done at CVH, just general check up's and allergy …
