I waited 1 hr and never saw the vet. I could have been called to say she was running very late. My time is important too!

The wait here is excessive. I waited an hour for a visit once and was told that they couldn't see my kitten, by the way, this was with an appointment. I get it that things happen but when I later called for a copy of the food prescription, I was told they didn't know how to upload it to chewy and my only option was to buy it from them. They uploaded the first but apparently they couldn't figure out how to change it to the new food they prescribed and this was the response after calling several times and stopping by during "open" hours to find that they were closed at 5pm on a Wednesday. They could care less that I couldn't get the food and then told me that, without any notice to customers, they changed their policy last week; it would now cost be $10 for a copy of the script. Complete rip off, poor service, and they don't care at all about my kitten, they only want the money and my kitten is still very sick. Awfully disappointed.

Very easy to make a new patient appointment for a post adoption check. We were in within one week. Staff very friendly and professional. Dr. Clark was very patient with our new dog. Answered all of our questions and concerns. We are looking forward to working with them in the future.

The Stockton Pet Hospital Team are a STELLAR bunch!!! I have been taking my pets to Stockton for about 14 years and they were some of the select few that would take care of not only my dogs, but also my sugar gliders (which are considered exotic pets). Dr. Byrne and her team have gone above and beyond anything that I could expect and have experienced at other veterinary facilities. They stand by their work, keep their facilities clean, update their technology and facilities, are down to earth and are pleasant to visit with. And I believe that it is all due to them genuinely caring about you and your pets.

Friendly staff, they listen to your wants and needs, affordable, clean facility. I love this vet!

The cost for exam and diagnostic stool test 172. The cost for the treatment including special food, probiotic and anti diarrheal 192. I’d say it was all about padding the bill with unnessary treatment. Easy to get an appointment but be prepared to pay for it

They are fantastic and always makes time for emergencies even though they aren't an emergency facility.

This is one of the best animal hospitals I've been to. The staff are extremely nice and the doctor is thorough. I took my kitten here when she was sick at 11 weeks old and this vet made sure she recovered. Now she's a large healthy cat that just had her first birthday!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We are senior citizens and have NEVER been treated so rudely or taken advantage of so horribly. My husband stated we had x amount of dollars, fixed income, no more....no less. We were there to renew a license. We ended up with an almost $400 bill for cleaning our dogs ears? I know every small business is trying to recoup from COVID but taking advantage of your senior customers by not disclosing prices until after the fact is not the way....you will never recoup.

Dr. Byrne has taken great care of my dog Sunny since he was a tiny puppy. I trust her and her staff, and won't go anywhere else for veterinary care.

The Vets at this clinic are friendly, compassionate, and always manage to squeeze my animals in, even on busy days when there is a emergency. They have become part of all my pets family. I would not take my animals anywhere else. They charge no more then most Vets, and some of the time they work it out to where I pay less then most.

The Dr is Rude and doesn't talk to clients nicely. Always someone new in the front who don't know what they are doing. Building is OLD feels like a 1960s pet hospital. Prices are WAY too much. The Dr cold turkey my dog off xanax. Pretty sure that is illegal. Always a problem at this place. Just moved my dogs charts to a better vegetarian. I DO NOT recommend this vet.

We had just adopted our dog, Rusty, from a shelter. Less than two weeks later he started coughing and we thought it was because he ate the fluff out of a chew toy. Dr.Byrne listened to Rusty's lungs and heard something that was not right. Xrays showed spots on his lungs and looked to be bacterial pneumonia. She prescribed some potent medications and he is doing so much better! A completely different dog in his activity level. We are so greatful to Dr. Byrne. Her expertise kept things from getting much worse. And Beanie, Heather, and the rest of the staff at Stockton are amazing and give such loving care to Rusty!

Very poorly organized vet. Spent over an hour here to pay for my pets licensing. The front desk has zero idea what they were doing & basically had to wait to talk to the main vet for everything - so even though I just had to write a check & drop off some vax info, it took over an hour. If you’re going to re-license your pet, just do it online - this place is extremely poorly run & will just waste all your time.

I had to bring my dog in for an emergency and they were great throughout the whole process. Even after bring my dog home, they called to check in on him and make sure he was OK. They were very good to me and my dog.

First, the groomer at Stockton, Debbie, did a wonderful job with my 9 mo-old 8 lb hard-to-handle Shih Tzu puppy on Monday. My puppy had a traumatic experience at another grooming facility and I spoke with Debbie when I dropped him off at 8:45 am. I explained how scared my puppy was of grooming and she described her approach. I felt comfortable leaving him with her. At booking I was informed that I would need to bring proof that my puppy was current on vaccinations and that he would need to be seen by a vet prior to grooming for a well check (because he was not a patient of Stockton Pet Hospital). I agreed, provided docs when I arrived, which they reviewed and printed for their files, and was told that he was good to go when I left him. Debbie called me at 1:30 pm to tell me that his grooming was complete and that he had done well. I was relieved. But then she mentioned that he was not ready to be picked up because he had not yet been seen by the vet for the well check. I questioned why he had been groomed prior to the well check, which was the opposite of the stated policy. I asked her to transfer me to the office manager because he had already been there for several hours and I didn't want to continue to traumatize him with another procedure that was now a moot point. She apologized and said that it was her fault; something about "not putting him on the board". She was so nice and was doing the right thing by being honest and transparent with me, so I changed my mind and I told Debbie not to transfer me and that it was OK. At approx 3:30 pm, I received a call from the office manager (Sherry?). She told me that Stockton was going to vaccinate my puppy because two of the vaccines had been administered by the breeder and not a vet. She said that vets NEVER accept vaccines from a breeder. I told her that my vet (Fox Hollow - btw, HIGHLY recommended) had, in fact, accepted the breeder's record of vaccination. She started arguing with me, saying that it was their policy to vaccinate to their standards prior to grooming. I told her that the puppy had already been groomed and the Debbie had called me at 1:30 pm to tell me. It was obvious she didn't realize that I knew he had already been groomed. Through tears, I told her that I brought the puppy to Stockton to try to minimize his trauma and I didn't want him to be unnecessarily vaccinated. I offered to pay them whatever they wanted to charge me for the vaccine, but pleaded with her that they not vaccinate him. She continued to say that it was their policy and that she was not going to debate it with me. I asked to speak to the vet, and she said, "sorry, she's busy". Admittedly, at this point, I lost my cool. I started screaming, "do not touch my dog" over and over and she kept reiterating that it was their policy, that my invoice would be waiting for me, and she hung up on me. I was distraught. I grabbed my husband because I thought I might need his help and we left immediately. The woman was so callous and so unreasonable and so dishonest that I actually feared they might hurt my puppy on purpose just to hurt me. When we arrived, the office manager said that she had spoken to the owner, who I believe is the vet, and that they were not going to vaccinate my puppy, but he (me, really) was not welcome there in the future. There is NO WAY I would ever touch that place with a 10 foot pole, EVER. The vet never spoke with me and by handling the situation the way she did, she not only tolerated the behavior, but condoned it. BAD BUSINESS and BAD VETERINARY CARE. I will be filing a complaint with the state board of veterinary medicine.

My family just moved to the area and had to have one of our aging cats put down so I called the nearest vet office and LOVED them. They were wonderful to me and to my cat and made the process so much easier. A few days ago, one of our youngest cats started acting lethargic and stopped eating. I called and Dave made sure to get us in same day and he and Dr. Burns have been amazing! Our baby is still there being treated, but I have called several times to check on him and they always make the time to answer my questions. The Dr. reaches out on her own to give me updates as well. I highly recommend Stockton Pet Hospital and cant' say enough good things about Dave! Thank you all so much!

I recently adopted a 10 year old cat with minor health issues. A couple of nights ago he got really sick and I took him to the 24 vet hospital where they gave him fluids and some meds. They recommend more blood work and X-rays, but since the cost was around $1000, I could not afford it for him. The team here offered to cover the cost of the blood test and diagnostics for him, around a $600 donation. All out of gratitude to me for adopting a senior cat. They truly care about their patients and what is best for them and I cannot be more grateful.

Had a great experience with the entire staff from the front desk to the doctor. Very thorough and reasonably priced. For the people posting that they are so expensive and were shocked by the amount... I was given a pricing sheet that listed every service by price with a low and high estimate which was extremely helpful in deciding how to best care for my dog. Thank you everyone at Stockton for everything you do.

They are reasonably priced compared to other veterinarians in the area. They have taken great care of all of our pets (two dogs and a cat). The staff was super supportive when one of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer and we had to start seeing an oncology specialist. They always called to see if we had questions or if we needed help translating the medical jargon from the oncology visits. I simply feel that they care as much as we do.

This is our go-to vet for our two dogs trogdor and pip. The front desk lady, Denina, is always so friendly and helpful! We love the laser treatments they offer, and they usually have availability to fit my busy schedule!

I just had such a traumatic experience here. I had questions about their required signature page that gives consent for them to take my animal from my car, perform whatever services the vet deems necessary or desired, and then if I cannot afford the bill, they will keep my pet. Additional paperwork expressly states that they will refuse to return your pet due to inability to pay. It was harsh, frightening/threatening, and really just unkind. I was incredulous and when I dared to question it, Benina (front desk woman) could not or would not admit that that is what the form was saying, and refused any disclosure that fees will be presented prior to services being completed. It, in fact, specifically presents that they will do things like vaccinate regardless of ability to pay or allow them to do so. When I asked how I could trust them, she turned it on me with comments such as "we've had hundreds of people sign this and no one has ever had a problem" and repeating over and over the question of "do you want to go somewhere else?" Yes. I did. But it's a shelter pet adoption and I have limited funds at Christmas and we get one free vet visit in a small amount of time. The end result was to yank the paperwork from my hand and return to loudly express to the many people outside, that they would be denying my dog service. Not me. My dog. I was genuinely afraid I would not be able to pay and would lose my child's dog. Then I was humiliated because I dared to question them. Stay away from this vet office, unless you're so privileged that you don't have to worry about not paying whatever they deem necessary, I guess.
