The nicest folks. The staff treats our pets like family. We’re very lucky to take our pets here.

This place is amazing! They know my dog Luna personally, and were able to get her in when she had a really bad cough even though they were busy. They have provided the best information and care for my dog!

From start to finish I was very impressed with the candor and practice of the staff and Dr. O'Connell. On the pricier side, definitely not a budget clinic but seems well worth it.

Vet charges way different prices than was originally told, then when i speak to the staff about it. The vet states thats whats due and theres nothing I can do. Yeah there is I'm not going to them anymore. I was going to them for our puppy who is 4 months old, was also told he had his rabies shot and that was the last one for a year, now im being told he needs two more shots every two weeks. The vet couldnt even decipher his proper age. 2 weeks ago he was 4months old now the vet states he is 6 months old. They charge you without even talking to you first. They charged me for a wellness exam when he just had one done 2 weeks ago and I didn't get charged then. So a rabies shot and wellness exam costs $92 and i wasn't even told i was going to be charged that. 2 weeks ago I was told all his next visit was going to be was $29 now I'm being asked to pay $92 for a wellness exam that wasnt notified to me about and a rabies shot. Well guess what I'm not paying it because i refuse to pay the $62 and I'm going elsewhere for service. The vet also said in 2 weeks they are going to draw my dogs blood, once again i didnt state I wanted this service. Kipling vet you guys no longer have my service. Im finding a new vet. Get your stuff figured out, please, for your clients because im not one of yours anymore. ****As an add on to the owner who just replied, yes your records to my charges do tell a different story because why wouldnt it, you guys are a business and feel the need to do whatever youd like. I get it now. I also have spoken to others about your office who are clearly staying away due to what has been told to them. Call it slander and what you will but by your response as the owner tells me you took my comment from a personal standpoint and not business. Real professional. Yes my dog has been taken care of, by another vet. Thank you very much!!!

My only visit was one of the saddest days of my life. The day I said goodbye to my Mila Mila. Wonderful staff. They made it as comfortable/comforting as they could. I will be back. Hopefully for happier visits.

We switched to this vet and what a difference!! Organized, clean and friendly staff. This was such a change from our awful experience at the prior place we took our babies to. We left feeling cared for and valued along with our pet.

Might as well just be a boarding kennel. Don't count on these people if you have an emergency. For 2 years they've sent me to another vet whenever an emergency arose.

Fully trust the staff's capability and care for our dogs. However, they are still mandating masks for fully-vaxed people 2 months after the statewide mandate was lifted...so do we trust the science or don't we?

Kipling Veterinary Hospital has always been reliable and trusted with my dogs needs in the past. On June 12th, the Veterinarian recommended a complete blood test along with the normal checkup. I of course a agreed. Today, July 3rd my dog was scheduled to get his annual shots and the Veterinarian insisted that I would have to pay for the wellness check again. Absolutely price gauging a loyal customer. I just scheduled my dogs shots with Vetco for $85, compared to the $180 Kipling Vet Hospital is trying to charge. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I have had several opportunities to use this vet for one of my cats that has been ill. They have been prompt getting me appointments and have been courteous and thorough with her care. Very professional and knowledge.

This Clinic has successfully helped me through a dog with severe food allergies and another older dog with a torn ACL. I trust them to give me the gold star standard of treatment and then let me make a informed decision based on that information. Out of all the places in Lakewood I trust this one

Very pleasant. Employees were happy to help me with my 13 yr old cat. They were ok with me not having a crate, considering my old kitty Luck, has never used one. Getting old has made my Luck Luck lose about 8lbs. He's normally the first one to the feed bowls in the last one to leave my poor old man's not getting around as much as he used to and I took him in for a wellness check the veterinary was wonderful and very nice very soothing I do appreciate all their help but I believe that he may just have to go quietly at home.

Dr. Jil O'Connell and the staff here are fantastic and the only place we take our dogs.

Overpriced and a snobby owner...just look at the responses to the low ratings. They don't take responsibility when they make a mistake, which they did with my dog. It cost me a trip to the animal hospital and nearly killed him. No sympathy or real concern unless you pay for it.

The people are kind and the prices are reasonable. I will bring my pets again.

Dr. Mackenzie is as much of a crazy cat person as I am, it's very nice to meet a vet who specializes in felines, especially in such a dog state as colorado.

They were so kind to get my dog in right away and were more thorough with the exam than the last 2 vets I've been to. They will be out vet from now on!

These folks take very good care of my kitties. When I went to have the fixed, it was way overpriced, so we took them elsewhere. Otherwise, we love them!

I will never be returning here again. This vet has thoroughly insulted me and almost cost my dog his life. I had a series of several unfortunate events at this vet. I came in because my dog was losing weight. The vet did a stool sample and the vet said he had a parasite. We treated the parasite. We tested our other dogs as well for good measure. Our dog still was not gaining weight. The vet scolded us for over an hour about how our "at home diet" was killing our dog. Our dog, and other two dogs have been on this diet their whole lives and have never had a problem. However, we were willing to try anything for the health of our boy. We changed his diet and he still was not gaining weight. All the while we were doing several different tests on him via the vet. One of the tests we did was to see his liver function. The vet told me the normal range was for a dog was to test 10-20 my dogs results showed up at 50. I asked "Would that maybe raise an eyebrow or possibly be another issue" She told me absolutely not an encouraged me to take more expensive tests. She said it was only a problem if he was under. I would like to note every time I came in I was constantly bullied by the employees including more than one veterinarian, vet techs, and the receptionists. Firstly isn't there supposed to be some sort of patient privacy here??? Secondly HOW DARE YOU ALL IMPLY I WAS STARVING MY DOG BY NOT FEEDING HIM OR WITH THE AT HOME DIET!!! How extremely rude and unprofessional, not to mention down right stupid. Why on earth would I spend thousands of dollars to figure out what was wrong with my dog when I could just feed him. The veterinarian also lectured my partner and I on the phone every time she called with results, about how bad of pet parents we were for our decisions. The last time we spoke with her she mad a comment "You're making sure you feed your dog, he ate today right?". THE SECOND we took our dog to another vet outside this business, he looked at the results from the previous vet, and knew what was wrong. The results that showed up over 50 that I asked about was the Diagnosis. He needed medication to assist his liver and would've died without it. The new vet said she should've been able to tell me that right away. He approved our at home diet immediately. In fact he said it was nutritionally rich and any dog would be lucky to have us as their parent. My experience at Kipling Veterinary was emotionally draining, a big waste of time and money, and a wake up call! Trust your instincts and don't let these people treat your pets!!!

The staff here is so kind and eager to help. I appreciate the care they gave my little nugget when he got sick right after I adopted him.
