UPDATE: Quotes for dental work were extraordinarily high and put us in the position of needing to shop for a more affordable way to provide needed care for our dog. . ORIGINAL REVIEW: After moving to the west side Lakewood, CO, we decided to try this veterinarian for our dog because of its proximity of the office to our home. We found them to be very pet-friendly and customer-aware. We were able to get a first appointment on short notice, and the wait to see the vet was just a few minutes. The vet who did the check up on our dog was very nice and thorough. Our dog loved her. The waiting room and treatment rooms were nice and clean and had an inviting feel. We've been back a couple of times and are happy with our choice. Fox Hollow Animal Hospital is now our go-to vet when our dog needs vet care. Recommended! (Am the director of a national animal-related nonprofit organization.)

Very solid, their reputation precedes itself. Kinda in and out last visit, didn't speak to doctor about his observations, usually do. Was just his one year check up and they were slammed. No big deal.

Dr. Ross is so wonderful, he explains everything with my dog’s health status so well. Every time I bring either pup in, we have the best service and care. It’s worth driving down an hour from Boulder!

Tony Henderson has been my vet since the mid 80s. It has been a comfort to know that when my pets need him, he is there. That is worth a lot. Martha B

Okay, moved to Denver area in February with my dog. Wanted to see for myself if they were as good as everyone said (from reading reviews). This hospital is truly amazing. They actually care about your pets and want to help in any way the can. Previous hospitals I’ve gone to have never really listed to my concerns about my dog ... this place seriously did. I’ve been helped by 2 diff Doctors, both male and they are truly freaking awesome !!! I would recommend this hospital to anyone with a pet. I have 4 dogs and they all love this place, not scared at all when they walk in the door.

They charged a lot and we not very informative to us and what they were doing with my fur baby. Dr. Ryan was very nice and treated m6 kitten like a queen, but he definitely was not people person.

I went to multiple vets before being recommended to Fox Hollow. I never felt like anyone before actually cared or spent time with my animals. I never feel rushed at Fox Hollow and they truly care about my pets. Highly Highly Recommend.

The receptionists are efficient and friendly. The vet was friendly and thorough. He made Annie - my sweet doggo - comfortable. His treatment for her itching was effective. He was able to trim her nails which she won’t let me do.

The staff at Fox Hollow are always friendly and knowledgeable and I wouldn’t want to trust our dachshunds to any one else

Uncooperative assistant. Refused to cut oversized pill for 5 lb dog even though previously vet had ordered. Prescriptions are very high cost.

A vet should not call themselves a hospital if they’re NOT a hospital and are only going to refer the dog elsewhere. This visit did absolutely nothing for us.

UPDATE: They sent me the records THEY have on him, but none of his past ones I gave them. Gone. Also, they seemto have checked everything off as “done” but they did not do ANY of the things they said they did for him. I brought my cat here a couple weeks ago to get a wellness exam. Not only did they charge me for weighing him and lifting up his lip to “look at his teeth”, which was his entire wellness exam but they also lost his records. I called three times to have them email me my 9 year old cats past and present records but come to be told that they can’t give them to me because they don’t have them… Where are they… Oh sometimes they take them home to scan them in because we just have too many…So if I brought my cat in right now for an emergency you would not have records on him? An extremely incompetent vet clinic. They even scheduled to put him under anesthesia without a blood test which could have possibly killed him. I found this out from another vet clinic who did a FULL wellness exam including heart and lungs check, weight, teeth, eyes, AND a BLOOD test before scheduling him to go under anesthesia. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. They are horrible and all I’ve heard from even past employees that worked there.. that their “TV show” ruined this clinic. I find that to be VERY true. Also the front desk lady hung on me, yes I swore but also.. you lost all my cats records so.

This is by far the best animal hospital experience I've ever encountered - and I've had pets all my life. Dr. Cara is wonderful and helping so much with our elderly, formerly abused cats. The entire staff are kind, efficient, polite, and caring.

Always great service. Even when they were booked solid they still fit my pup in.

I took my new puppy in for his first visit and it went great. The facility was clean and everyone was so friendly. Also, we watched Hanging with the Henderson's and it was great to catch a glimpse of Dr. Tony and Dr. Ross. We saw Dr. Daniel Foley and he was fantastic

They've been wonderful in helping care for my cats. I got a lot of one on one communication with the vet when I thought my cat had a medical issue. I also appreciate them calling to check up on my fur babies.
