We adopted a bonded Senior Trio 3 years ago. AWP's was so wise in not separting these three sweeties. They are so close, I am not sure what their trauma would have been like. They are a small hardworking shelter that puts to use every dollar they are given. Please remember them when you have a little extra to give.

They are dedicated to helping to find furever homes for kittys.

We had a wonderful experience adopting 2 kittens from Angels with Paws. The facility is clean and I love that the cats are not in cages, but in rooms where you can interact with them. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and caring. The kittens we adopted are well socialized and sweet - you can tell they have been treated with lots of love! Highly recommend this fantastic organization, thank you guys!

We visit often to give some much wanted love and pets to these great kitties! I've actually had to bring a rascally kitten here as he was a bit to much for my family. But we came to see him every week to check up on him. And when any of the cats get sick, they get treated with care and love. The older cats are so awesome here as well, and deserve loving homes !! Please come and adopt today. ???????????? If I had a big giant house! All these cats would live there ! Hahahaha. Thanks so much for all you do here guys. I love this place! They are so good. Work so hard to take care of these orphans. They do a fine job of getting these felines adopted and they love them.

As a working volunteer there I've gotten to know many of the cats and they are adorable, friendly and loving. They need your help. Donate if you can or adopt one and take them home with you

So nice to see a kitty shelter where they arent kept in cages (unless absolutely necessary). The kitties live in groups in rooms and thus learn to interact with another pet. They have beds and towers and shelves to lay on as well as big wide windows for sunbathing. I donate to this fabulous nonprofit through AmazonSmile.com and King Soopers so with each purchase, a portion goes to them. I also have started going one day a week to help socialze the kitties and also make my day! There is nothing better than kitty loves, happy paws and purrs to brighten you day! They are open from 1pm to 6pm so please take the time to think of them if you want to rescue a kitty or to like me, help these kitties to feel the love they all deserve.

This shelter has the biggest hearts. Every time I've come in I've been greeted warmly. They answer all my questions and are happy to let me pet all the cats. I've adopted two little loves from AWP, and recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a cat.

Great place if you want to help a great local organization and need a fur baby. The staff is helpful and you can tell that they care for each cat. If your in the market, please adopt. I have visited 3 times and everytime has been enjoyable.

What a wonderful cat rescue. I love what they are doing there!

Yesterday, I went to get a cat for my daughter. My daughters mom was denied the day prior. I went in to see if i could help. We were met at the door by two of the staff. The only words out of my mouth were, I would like to get a cat for my daughter. The one worker said we had 5 minutes to leave the property or she was going to call the police. No reason. I sent one friend to them who adopted a cat and my father got his cat there. I have donated to their sales and been an advocate until now. This treatment is unacceptable! I will never donate again and I will be sure to refer everyone and anyone to Jefferson County Animal Shelter. The people there are much nicer and the animals seem healthier! My x and my daughter said they had sick cats in every room. Big surprise! Update/response. The day I went, none of the things you mentioned in your reply happened. I do not know what may have taken place prior to my visit, but myself personally, I never act in such a manner. No explanation, your staff just came out threatening me. My understanding of events prior were an address misunderstanding. I can hardly understand how that warrants the treatment we received.

This is a wonderful place. Saving numerous cats from all across America on the same level as bigger agency's. Every person here is wonderful and you can tell with how well ever cat is doing. Their work really shows.

Should be -0 ratings for this facility. Pulling like a lottery when one or more persons are interested in a particular animal. No professionalism nor sensitivity regarding customers who keep them in business. Not to mention the immediate love, health, security, and nurturing people feel when wanting to adopt. This is a service you provide not a privilege... Definitely will be legally looked at!

My sister adopted the sweetest cat Sunny who was with us for 13 years before she passed away.

They are the sweetest cat loving human beings I have ever met in my entire life!!! They care so much about every single cat that comes through there it is so sweet I would recommend anyone and everyone to go there if you wanna volunteer if you want to donate items and if you want to adopt a cat call them first they are amazing

I adopted my little fur baby here a couple of months ago. They were very helpful, know their cats well, and have lots of toys and comforts for them. They gave me a great vet recommendation and it’s obvious that they really care about the cats.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can see that they take very good care of the kitties.

My husband and I adopted our beautiful cat Cosette from Angels With Paws. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate for all the different cats and their needs. You can tell they are passionate and really love the cats here, we actually went to a different shelter before and I have to say I really prefer AWP. It is smaller and they are able to give lots of love and care to the cats and have high standards and expectations for potential adopters which is such a positive.I also really appreciate that they are free roaming here and you can hang out with them allowing the right cat to choose you :) I definitely recommend Angels With Paws!

Do not take a cat to this shelter or donate to them. They say they are under no obligation to contact the owners even if a cat is microchipped. Our neighbor could not get their kitty back from this shelter. No integrity.

Denied adoption of a previous cat owner for 0 reason

we adopted our FIV+ baby from them over a year ago and she’s been the best addition to our family. definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking for the perfect cat.
