Animal Birth Control Grand Junction, Colorado

I've taken 2 ferals here to be fixed using two vouchers. The staff is very friendly and pick up was just a few hours. I think this is an awesome place and people with ferals (God Bless You) need to get a voucher for spay/neuter, make an appointment with ABC, and be responsible by trapping the cat, getting it fixed and then go setting it free again or making it an indoor cat. The resources are out there. USE THEM PLEASE.

My dog has yet to be serviced here. Based off my experience with them on the phone I would recommend this place. You can tell they love their job and the animals. Places like this our rare. Update , my liberty was taken care of and they did an amazing job , they answered all my questions, I was able to get her shots along with her surgery and the stuff I needed for after care. I was able to call if I was concerned after surgery, if I remember correctly they also called to check on her. I absolutely recommend this place. Good people who live animals.

I love this place! I know it seems a little "chop shoppy" but it's only because it's just for immunizations and getting your babies fixed. The people who work here are SO kind, and I have never had an issue with any of the 5 kitties I've taken there. They strive to make these things affordable and they do a wonderful job ❤

Great Dr and nurses.. got an appointment they honored my p.u.p.s voucher..same day services my little guy heal fast with no problems. Plus they said he was their best patient of the day

I was able to make an appointment quick. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have a disability and when I came to pick up my fur baby after his procedure the handicap spot was blocked.. they saw me pull in and brought him out for me and even lifted him into the car for me! That was so sweet of them I was actually panicking about how I was going to get him in, but I didn't even have to ask for help! They sent home aftercare instructions and an emergency number to call if we had any issues. I highly recommend this place!

I took my beagle here to be neutered, microchipped, and get his shots. The Doctor gave my pup some medicine to help calm him down. My boy is very anxious and I appreciated how well Animal Birth Control took care of him.

Always very helpful and had the best rates for immunizations and spay/neuter. They currently will spay or neuter and give a rabies shot, but due to Covid-19, they are not immunizing for anything else because the want to limit exposures between individuals. You can get the necessary shots at Murdock's and administer them yourselves. Be sure to call and ask or research what shots are needed and that you're comfortable administering them to your pet.

They did an awesome job, my girl was in at 8:30 and home by 1:00. Her incision is small and very nicely stitched, pain meds where very affordable.

They are the lowest price in town but they also treat your loved ones as royallity I love them and still have 2 to go.... I will always go back

I have had several cats spayed/neutered there. They are always sweet and caring for my babies. They also call the day after to see how your animals are doing.

This is pretty much the cheapest place to go for spaying or neutering your animals. They also do shots for cheap. Do know however, that it's a very small building and being so close to other animals may be a very anxious thing for your pet, so it's not the best place, but it's a good choice if you're low on money.

A bit confusing about bringing an extra cat carrier if you are bringing in a trapped feral for surgery. They need it at the time of surgery...since they may not be able to switch carriers once cat wakes up. But very nice. Low cost service. Tiger is doing well and even let's me pet him now!

Friendly staff, and Doctor. Both of our babies we have taken there recovered with no problems. I would highly recommend Animal birth control. They don't try over selling either.

This company has taken care of 5 pets over the years. They are great to deal with and very helpful. We even had a very scared 100 lb lab that the doctor came out and met got down on his level petted him and then gave him a shoot outside to smooth the whole thing over went great.
