I just love how attentive and kind they are. The staff is very understanding of my dog's fear of them and try their best to ease his anxiousness and keep him safe. They are super informative on what I should do to keep my dog healthy and on his best game. Thank you to you all!! They are also reasonably priced!

Great team of professionals providing outstanding care, attention, support and LOVE to Topper ever since he was a puppy. This past year, Dr. Sheila and the entire Mountain Mobile Team have been incredibly helpful to us in charting a course through extremely difficult times pertaining to the discovery, diagnosis and treatment of Topper’s bone cancer. With their help we have been able to keep him pain free and in excellent spirits while maximizing the good days he still has with us. Mountain Animal Hospital Center is the personification of what “a great veterinarian” should be!

This was absolutely the best veterinary experience my lab and I have ever had. We came in early morning with an emergency, the team got him in immediately and were so thorough, they approached the situation holistically, looking at all possible causes and solutions. They stabilized him but recognized he needed additional services that they could not provide so they referred us to a hospital in Denver. This type of genuine and selfless care in the veterinary world is so rare. They saved his life, there is no doubt in my mind. Dr. Branton continued to be our resource, for days she answered questions and provided detail on the test results we received in Denver. This practice is a gift to the community.

Dr. Fitzpatrick & Sharon were incredibly kind and helpful! They fit us in last minute on a weekend and took great care of our French Bulldog. We are so grateful to have a vet we can trust in the Vail Valley.

Dr. Fitzpatrick has been our family vet for my entire life. When my dog needed emergency care after hours she opened her clinic and her and her wonderful staff saved my dog's life, caring for him late into the night. Dr. Fitzpatrick also made several check in calls the next day. Can't ask for a more dedicated doctor.

Mountain Mobile Veterinarian has been absolutely amazing in helping us care for our senior dog with multiple health issues. They have been a true partner in creating the best possible quality of life while doing a great job managing the complex medical issues that were fully addressed by prior providers, and the whole team has been responsive, compassionate and helpful. Love the team at Mountain Animal Hospital! From initial shots to more complicated issues that required surgery, they have done a great job with my cat Whiskey. They also do house calls in the Vail area which makes it super convenient if you are not in Eagle.

We were in Vail for the weekend when my dog started limping. We were able to get a last-minute appointment on Saturday with Dr. Wheeler, and we could not have had a better experience. The COVID procedures were reasonable and safe; the vet tech was fabulous; Dr. Wheeler was thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I wish we could make this our dog's full-time vet!

I had an after-hours issue when my dog ate some glass. My dog is not a patient of Mtn. Animal Hospital and I do not live in Eagle, so I was AMAZED when Dr. Sheila Fitzpatrick returned my call at 9pm and walked me through some home care options. She also texted me the next morning to follow up and make sure the dog was doing ok. This was above and beyond my expectations! If I lived in Eagle, CO I would definitely go see her.

Came to see my dog as I was inadequately prepared to deal with a poisoning after they were officially closed. Expertise and care apparent.

The veterinary staff and doctors are friendly and attentive! They listen to your concerns and love your pets as much as you do.

Our family has two Guinea Pigs, Pudgie and Brandy. Suddenly, it became very apparent that Pudgie wasn't just pudgie and Brandy is Randy. Pudgie was pregnant with four pups and was due any time. Our vet then informed me that if a guinea pig does not have pups by the time it is 9 months old, the pelvic floor grows together. Any subsequent pregnancy would result in the death of the mother and all of the pups. The only solution is a Caesarian section. There is only one vet in the state of Colorado that does C-sections on Guinea Pigs and its $1500. I was distraught to hear this news and called our local vet, Dr. Madeline Wheeler from Mountain Animal Hospital. Dr. Wheeler informed me that she had never done a c-section but was willing to try at a fraction of the cost. She then spent that evening and the next day studying the procedure and consulting with classmates from vet school that worked on exotic animals. The next afternoon, she called and told me she was ready to give it a shot. She successfully delivered four baby pups and Pudgie has had a beautiful recovery. Pudgie and the pups are thriving! I am so grateful for Dr. Wheeler for taking such a bold step to save these sweet little guinea pigs. It makes me so happy to see someone authentically passionate about what they do. We are blessed to have you in our community.

Dr. Sheila Fitzpatrick has been taking care or our beloved cats for over 16 years. She has been involved with them since day one. She offers house calls! Perfect for cats who hate to travel. We had situations with one of our cats eating ribbons a few times. Dr. Sheila avoids excessive treatments such as surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. She has been very compassionate and caring. Both cats needed dental work we believe helped maintain their health. One of our cats needed life saving surgery & she extended her life as well. She is available 24/7 for a serious situation. They have the resources to bring in specialists on a regular basis for different procedures. The retail food is well stocked and they offer to make home delivery for food. We also went to Dr. Branton who was impressive and helpful. We are very lucky to have Dr. Sheila & her team in Eagle County. We fully recommend her any chance we can.

I love Dr.Wheeler, Fitzpatrick and all the wonderful staff! They take good care of my elderly dog and it feels like family there! Good prices and knowledgeable staff. My dog had her neck ripped opens by a neighborhood dog earlier in the year and they put her back together as well as me. Love them and highly recommend!
