We had a very tragic situation with our dog Jed while on vacation. The folks at the Buffalo Mountain Animal hospital were exceptional at dealing with our pup and allowing us to grieve. They treated us like we had been their patrons for years. I can't say enough about the kindness and support they showed us. They do a very good job at a job that can't be that awesome at times.

It would be impossible to say enough great things about this place. They are caring, professional, understanding and compassionate. It was the afternoon before Thanksgiving, and my 6 year old German Shepherd suddenly started limping badly. She was in obvious pain. I am new to the area, and did not have a vet yet. I called my dog sitter, and she recommended Buffalo Mtn. I called them and they said "come right over". They checked her in and Dr. Murphy and the staff kept me updated with phone calls as her evaluation progressed. It turns out that she tore an ACL. Not only did they make the diagnosis, but they made sure that she was up to date with all of her regular stuff like heartworm medication. They prescribed her pain medicine and recommended specialists for the ACL surgery. The fee was extremely reasonable for all that they did. Love this place and am SO grateful for all that they did for us.

I had been taking my puppy to Frisco Animal hospital for her veterinary needs. Although they were nice enough, I found it hard to call and have someone actually answer the phone. The response time was not great on call backs or replies to emails. Buffalo Mountain Animal Hospital has been fantastic! I am so happy to have switched vets. Dr. Cowan was very thorough in explaining my concerns with my dog and the staff was present and happy to help every time I’ve called. Their hours are great for us locals that work an 8:00-5:00 job as well. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them! Thanks to Dr. Cowan and his staff!

Thank you so much to Dr. Murphy and all the staff at Bufffalo Mountain Animal Hospital. Our sweet baby Irish terrier was attached by a dog and suffered several lacerations and cuts. They took excellent care of her after hours and were very caring and generous with their time. I highly recommend their care!

We recently had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our 15 year old dog. Dr. Vanessa Koehler was extremely helpful. She was empathetic and shared her wonderful expertise. We are forever indebted to Dr. Koehler.
