Stating positive, I felt that their Denver facility looked clean and the staff were friendly when we had visited. We had to have our pet euthanized and several days later, they mailed us a sympathy card. It was nice and touching. …

My cockatiel had been acting off and was quivering which had me worried. I took her to the Denver Vida Veterinary Care clinic. The emergency vet listened to my concerns and gave my bird an examination that was as minimally stressful on her …

This office is totally messed up. I’ve had different answers and different information from each employee when I’ve called for help or clarification. It is very rare that someone answers when you call and no one seems to return calls or answer voicemails. My dog needs medication. And because the office couldn’t call back or do their job, she ran out of her meds. The second time I needed to refill her script I got ahead of it a week in advance so she wouldn’t run out again. Well again, no one answers or calls back. I had to go in to get the script so my dog wouldn’t be without meds. When I expressed how upset I was at how they are handling things, the woman just walked away from me. Extremely unprofessional and rude. They show no compassion, understanding or have any answers for how things are falling through the cracks. Their job is to care for my pets and they have showed they don’t care about them at all.

Dr. Katy LeVon saved my pet rat Earl. I had an emergency late at night and this is my go to Vet. They were very understanding and let me kiss him goodbye before surgery. They were reliable and called me with results of his surgery. Later, Forrest took great care of me and Earl and went through his at home care, and answered my long list of questions. I would recommend 10/10

Vida has always been kind and warm to both me and my dog! They are up front about costs and explain pricing prior to treatment being done. Dr. Gosselin was very thorough and explained things to me so that I could understand everything going on, as well as sent a follow up email with further instruction and specific doses. We love Vida and the care they provide!

I have used Vida since 2006 (it used to be called something else) and have never experienced so much incompetence. I took my 17 yr old cat in for a check up and blood testing. The staff mishandled the testing and told me they threw away her stool sample and wanted me to bring some in. They also said they had to take more blood because the sample had been misplaced or mixed in with other samples. After the initial test results came back, I told the doctor to go forward with more testing. She called back with some results but never sent them to me as I requested. A few weeks later I received an email stating I owed an invoice for the second round of tests. I called several times and various hours, each time no one ever answered the phone. (This is now common at Vida.) I left a message for someone to call me back and no one ever did. I then received an email threatening to send the invoice to collections for an invoice that wasn't billed properly to begin with. I called to pay the invoice and once again request the test results be sent to me (mostly as proof that they even did the work, now I'm not so sure). To this day, I still have not received the test results. I will never use this establishment again and am considering filing a complaint with the BBB.

I can not say enough about this place!! After searching for an affordable place to get emergency surgery for my kitty these guys were hero’s!!! Up front and honest about the price. Had genuine compassion towards me and my cat. They even let me send my cat to the “day care” with my flannel to make him more comfortable (I was denied this at other places). I was so nervous handing my cat over to a stranger for emergency surgery but these guys calmed my nerves and showed me that they didn’t just care about my wallet. Seriously, these guys are absolutely fantastic! I will be recommending them for years to come! Thank you for saving my kitties life!

I cannot say thank you enough, this clinic literally saved my dogs life!. We went to this clinic to get our dog baya help. She had a massive swelling in her throat and was not doing well. We had seen three vets with in two days prior. Nobody was able to help except vida. They were able to get our dog in the next day to a specialty clinic. It turned out it was a chronic infection around her esophagus. Dr. Jesse Williams went above and beyond to make some phone calls to get my dog taken care of. I really appreciate everything the doctor and the office did for my family and will never forget it.

Impressive service for both our beloved dog and the two of us during our visit with Dr. LeVon & her exemplary staff. We are appreciative beyond measure. Thank you so much!

Brought our dog in for the first time for some ear issues and every single person who worked there took the time to greet and make friends with my dog first. They made sure he wasn’t afraid and was comfortable! No additional services were pushed on us and the charges were discussed prior to any treatment. The best part was walking out and seeing another dog run in straight for the employees, so happy to be there! We will definitely be back and highly recommend you to bring your pet here, where they will be treated right!!

We needed urgent care for our bunny on a Saturday afternoon and our regular vet (we live further south) was fully booked and recommended Vida for their after hours emergency care. I gave them a call and they took our info and had us come in that evening. They were quick to get her back and thorough with her visit. Luckily what we thought was wrong wasn't but she did need some attention and some minor care. They fixed her right up and it was super affordable for a last minute urgent care visit. If we lived in the area we would definitely use this place as our regular vet. The staff were all so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Would highly recommend!

I really like Vida. I have been going there since we got our family dogs, and now bring my own dog there. They’ve always been friendly, responsive and thorough with issues pertaining to my dog. My dog was limping so I brought him to a vet nearby my house, they did a quick check, gave me pain meds and told me he was fine. In June, I took him to Vida and they recommended X-rays, found a tear in his acl, explained it to me and recommended surgery. They also prepared me for the fact that he may tear his other acl due to the compensation and weight he’d been putting on it. Sure enough, 3 months later he tore the other leg. They did X-rays confirming the tear, and we’re able to get him into surgery quickly this past week. They treat my dog (and myself) with such care and respect. The surgeon called me after both surgeries to let me know how he was doing and that gave me great peace of mind. I know theyre busy, short staffed and yes, they don’t always answer the phone as some have mentioned. I simply leave a VM and they’ve never not gotten back to me. You can’t beat having a doctor you trust for your pet.

I took my sick hamster to Vida, unfortunately "Cupcake" didn't make it. They were very kind and respectful. Thank you to the staff.

They were quick to get me in in an emergency situation. We arrived early and didn’t even have to sit and wait. They were friendly and informative. I felt like they truly cared vs just rolling through appointments. Also all my meds came out to be way more affordable than expected. They even called the next day to check up on Annabelle! I’ve been a bit of a crazy pet mama and I’ve called with follow up questions like 5 times since my appointment and they never make me feel bad. Also if they don’t know a question they ask/confirm with someone who does. This was my first time going there but this experience alone has made me switch them to being my primary vet!

I want to give zero stars but have to give one. I am disappointed at the lack of customer service/ethical responsibility towards our animal and their human owners. I have never seen this poor of service at any business let alone a veterinary clinic. This morning, we called both locations of this business at 9am to inquire about putting our daughter’s pet to sleep after realizing he has an incurable disease and after being seen at this veterinarian for an exam/evaluation 6 days prior and being told he most likely would need to be euthanized. We spoke with the receptionist at the Centennial location and were told that we had to go through the Denver office as the necessary exotic animal vet was unavailable at the Centennial office until later in the week. We called over 5 times and left a message that wasn’t retuned for 3 hours to set up an appointment. When we finally spoke with the receptionist, she apologized for the delay and worked with us to get an appointment. She asked if we could come at 7:00, instead of the 5:00-6:00 range we were looking for, so that the “vets in the office would not be overwhelmed” and informed us that there was no price increase in euthanasia cases or for us coming in after 7:00 since it was helping their schedule. We accepted the appointment and were once again assured that this would not be an emergency appointment. At 6:30pm we showed up with our daughter to put our pet to sleep. At approximately 6:50pm a vet technician came into the waiting room and stated that is would cost approximately $220 to euthanize the 2lb animal. Additionally, we were informed that there would be a cost of an additional $140 for an emergency fee. When we questioned and asked to talk to the Dr. we were told that they would not even come in or they would charge us for stepping in the room for an exam. This entite time, my daughter is emotional and crying over putting her pet down, and the staff is only debating and worried about the additional money. We ended up leaving without any regard to the suffering of our animal or the emotional damage to our daughter. Now, tonight we are home with a pet who is immobile and cannot feed himself and a daughter who has to endure the emotions of putting her pet tosleep again in the next 24-48 hours when we can find a vet who cares to take care of their clients more than they do making a profit.

We were treated very poorly by Dr. Kaplan. She was unbelievably rude and even began shouting at me. We have taken our dog to this location for years and always had a good experience until today.

My 14 year old Pomeranian has had pretty rough dental disease and we weren’t sure he would make it through surgery. Last week when we woke up my sweet little mans mouth was extremely swollen and sensitive and he refused to eat his food. When he did eat he yelped in pain. I called 11 different urgent care vets and clinics that day as well as our primary care; all of which gave me 4 week delays for appointments, even when I explained the urgency. I called Vida as a last resort and they lucky had a cancelation and got me in within the hour. They called our primary vet and got all his records before we showed up and treated us with the utmost professionalism and kindness. After receiving antibiotics and pain medication we set up an appointment for dental surgery a week later. By the time the surgery rolled around, my sweet man was looking so much better due to the medicine. He had 14 teeth pulled and his remaining teeth treated for the dental disease. They gave us all the necessary details for recovery at pick up and called again today (a day after surgery) just to check in on him. While he is extremely sore from the extractions, I fully believe they treated him with such sweet care and have provided the necessary medication to help with recovery. They also set up a follow up appointment at no charge to us to check in on his healing from the extractions. I am so thankful they were willing to fit us in and I am planning to change our primary vet to them. They had so many sweet things to say about Paulie and we couldn’t be more thankful.

As soon as both the assistant and vet walked in I immediately explained my new financial situation. I am a full time student on a very low fixed income and on medicaid. I strained that I took extra odd end jobs to raise $200 for this visit and that I cannot afford anything more. I immediately asked for an estimation of my visit, last year it was $160 and this year was already estimated to be in the $300s- way out of my budget. I asked if I could do a payment plan or if there were resources that I could apply for- they said no you have to pay in full right now before you leave. I was very hesitant in doing anything besides a physical exam and booster shots because I do not have the money right now. In the past I have had blood work done and it all came back normal but both the assistant and vet made me feel like an awful pet owner if I didn't get full blood work and urine analysis done even though my pet seems and looks to be in perfect health. After a long time of me debating and them pushing me to spend money I literally don't have I agreed to all of it so I could feel like a good and responsible pet owner. Then turns out they misquoted me and I owed over $500.... This establishment only wants money and does not care about their patients or caretakers. I will NOT be coming back to this money guzzling establishment.

Dr. Rachelson and the staff at Vida are fantastic. I highly recommend them! We use Vida for our Aussie Doodle and they take great care of her, as well as providing us the education we need to be great pet parents.

If you need an exotics vet, I cannot recommend Vida Vet Care enough! Our dwarf hamster was having trouble breathing and I thought that he would honestly not make it. I've had bad experiences with exotics vets before and was really nervous it would not be taken seriously, but Dr. Gosselin ran through all the options and approximate prices with my partner and I (even though I had to bring him in at almost midnight, right before they closed), as well as the prospects of success. It was not cheap emergency vet care but I don't think it would have been much different anywhere else and the vet tech on staff even took the time to write me a full estimate of the potential costs before we made a decision. After three days at the clinic on oxygen and several courses of antibiotics later, my 2yr old dwarf hamster is now back home and doing so much better! We will be back next week for a check-up and I am so grateful for how patient and kind all of the vets and staff have been with me. I know most people will think it's silly to spend so much time and money on a tiny hamster but he's my little guy and I am so happy to have found not one but three vets that understand! Thank you Drs Gosselin, Hicks, and Kaplan-Stein, as well as all of the vet techs and staff there, for being so kind and patient and answering all of our questions! Even if his condition had not responded to treatment, I would still feel confident knowing the vets had explored every option with me and will bring future pets here as long as these vets are around! Seriously the best hamster care I could possibly hope for :-)

Staff is super adamant about you arriving on time, however they do not respect your time by being prompt. The staff is rude. The quote vs actual billed price was almost 100% more.

I recently had a medical emergency with my ball python. I currently live in COS and was unable to find anywhere that could cater to exotics, either in private practice or ER care. After 2 hours of searching online and calling every vet within a 30 mile radius, I was directed to Vida Vet Care. I called them hysterical and the lovely receptionist calmed me down and assured me they could help my noodle baby. Hopped in my car and drove 1.5 hours to Denver. Once at Vida, my snake was seen extremely quickly. Within 20 minutes he had pain meds, antibiotics, and his wound was cleaned and stitched shut. Dr. LeVon was extremely gentle, thorough, and caring. She was able to give detailed instructions for aftercare and provided an antibiotic shot to administer at home. (Since we live so far) If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The price of care was significantly lower than what I was expecting to pay and all staff seemed to genuinely care about my pet as well as myself. Thanks, Vida Vet Care!!!! -Sam & Macaroni

I took my dogs to a dog park on Sunday and noticed one of dogs accessory paw pad was bleeding. I called Vida Veterinary Care and got an appointment immediately. The vet explained what had happened and how she would clean and take care of my dog. I've been a client for four years and very happy with the vets, vet techs and their professional and responsiveness.

I had such a great experience here. I took my cat here late one Friday night because he had some breathing symptoms that were starting to worry me. He’s my very first cat and I’d only had him for a week so I was incredibly anxious, but the staff at Vida were so great and really put me and my cat at ease. The tech was super gentle with my cat and explained everything he was doing as he did it, which I appreciated as a new pet parent. The vet was also great and very reassuring. Luckily my cat ended up being just fine, and they even called me two days later to follow up and make sure he was doing okay. As a first time pet owner, Vida really put me at ease and made for a great experience for both me and my cat.

We've taken our dog to Vida Veterinary Care since we moved here six years ago. The vets and assistants (technicians?) are always kind and caring. Our min pin (miniature pincher) occasionally has fear-aggression issues and the staff here has always made him feel comfortable and safe, as a result he's never had an aggressive issue with the people there. The medical care is top notch.

Warning- this vet is NOT AAHA accredited, if you care about that type of thing. Extremely expensive, always extremely busy (hard to get an appointment) and one of the front desk girls always had a horrible attitude. We had concerns about our puppy’s GI issues and ended up spending over $500 and had to bring him in at least 4 times- when we switched to an accredited vet, they had it handled with the first visit. Our new vet is less expensive, kinder, and more capable. Definitely would not recommend, and have encouraged our family who goes here to switch vets as well.

I was in desperate need of a vet to look at my Shih tzu. She was limping pretty bad and I wasn't sure if her leg was broken. My regular vet could not accommodate me so I called around and was given Vida Vet care. When I tell you they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door they were professional. They checked me in within minutes. The assistant was very nice as she gathered some info and she told us about the pricing before anything had been done. Now her is where I knew this was the best place for my dog. Dr. LeVon took my baby and gently examined her making sure to be gentle on her leg. After a few minutes of this she gave her diagnosis and recommendations of treatment. I was expecting to have to pay upwards of $500 but that did not happen. She not only saved me money but her recommendation worked like a charm. My baby is almost 100% again. This place is AWESOME!!!! I highly recommend it.

My bunny had gi stasis and they acted quickly to save him. The hospital and centennial locarion is amazing. Their centennial location has now become my new vet. They are extremely helpful, caring and informative. They truly care about your pets. I made the best decision by switching over to them. Front office, vet assistants and doctors are amazing!
