I brought a dog I adopted to VCA Colfax. He is on 3 medications and I went there yesterday to get his refills. At the time I didn't know these meds could be delivered. I don't have a car because I just moved here so I took an Uber. I was having trouble getting a ride back home and Tara took the time out to help me with getting an Uber home. I am so grateful to her because I was nearly in tears. Thank you again Tara!

Extremely disappointed in my experience at this VCA. I brought my kitten in for a wellness visit. The entire visit felt rushed. I had voiced my concerns to the technician which were incorrectly relayed to the vet. When the vet finally came in, she started answering my questions based on the wrong information. I was unable to say a word as she spoke a mile a minute trying to end the encounter as soon as possible. When I was finally able to ask the questions I wanted to ask, she brushed my concerns aside. She and the technician left my encounter multiple times to deal with an emergency. I understand that things come up, but when they were in the room I did not feel that my concerns were heard and that actual medical problems were not addressed. I felt like I wasted my time going to this VCA. Save yourself the trouble and the cost by going somewhere else.

I am happy that I have a VCA Care Club membership at Park Hill Vet as I receive caring and exemplary, professional service. All the vets and every other employee takes time, communicates clearly and treats my 18 year old cat with such understanding, even though she is difficult. In this time of the pandemic, like many other businesses, they have lost staff and are short of employees and are therefore, working long hours under stress, but they go above and beyond and this does not get in the way of quality service! I thank you for your outstanding service!

Our Golden Retriever came back from a walk and appeared to have something stuck in her teeth. Unfortunately, she does not like for us to mess with her mouth. We called VCA Park Hill and they were able to work us in very promptly. Between the Vet Tech (Brent) and the DVM ( Dr. Garner) they were able to abstract a 1/4"round by 2" long stick from her teeth without having to perform surgery. We were extremely grateful and pleased with how quickly and professionally they handled the situation. We strongly recommend VCA Park Hill !!!

They were very nice & helpful with everything. The only thing was there must have been a miss communication about what I wanted them to do while Nala was there. They took care of everything except her flea/tick treatment & and booster shot

My wife was nervous to call and inquire regarding our pets shot info due to some past issues regarding policy and procedure. Janna was so nice, calm amd extremely knowledgeable and supportive. She is by far an asset to this vet clinic and I wish we could have be able to utilize her superb customer service and people skills from the get-go but we are beyond appreciative she assisted us this time around. I would strongly suggest Janna be placed in a more active customer service role with this company bc she is the sole reason for this 5 star review. If it wasn't for Janna this review would be lacking 4 stars. Thank you Janna!!! We appreciate your tact and kindness. You rock!!!!

Terrible clinic. They have extremely over priced services and sale you on buying a monthly payment plan without telling you it's actually a contract that you can not break unless you move over 100 miles away. They also refused to allow me …

Even my cat likes this place! The doctor spent 20 whole minutes explaining everything about my cat's condition and making sure all me questions were addressed l. I never imagined any vet would take such time to do such a good job!

My boyfriend and I jus adopted our first dog. We got her from a shelter and didn’t realize how much we had to learn! We took Boo in for her first vet visit today with Dr. Baxter, and she was awesome! Everyone at the clinic—from my first call to make the appointment to discussing meds with the vet techs—was lovely and patient. Thanks so much to the whole staff!

We changed vets and couldn't be happier. Our vet in stapleton off montview was never able to squeeze us in for emergency visits but this vet gets us in everytime.

I can’t say enough great things about the staff! My dog had been through a traumatic event during the curbside exchange at a previous vet. Dr Garner spent an extended amount of time listening to my concerns before she examined my dog. Due to the previous experience she made arrangements for me to bring my dog into the building through a side entrance. The tech & Dr. Garner were waiting for us, and the exchange went smoothly. My dog got a thorough exam with every detail explained to me. The care & compassion that was shown to both of us was extraordinary! KUDOS to EVERYONE (I’m sorry I didn’t write down names) in that clinic!

Amazing service. I drove all the way from loveland Colorado to have Leo my 6 year old male kitty looked at due to a recent injury. He can be very agitated easily and has a tendency to be a cranky bratt. But they where able to take great care of him with out causing any other harm or having to sedate him. They worked around his cranky issues which is awesome. He was in and out within 2 hours. Jen was very nice and fun to talk to. I wasn't able to meet her in person but she was very pleasant. She explained everything she was doing with him and explained what may happen like maybe having to put a drain in his poor face by his left ear but she let me know that she was gunna do anything possible to be able to avoid that due to costs and less stress on my furr baby. My furr baby is now home and happy. Thank you so much Jen for the awesome communication and great care you did for my furr baby. I will absolutely drive the 50 miles again to have them take care of my pets.

I have had two separate occasions where I called in asking to speak with a vet and the person I spoke with told me that the vet would call me back that day. Not only did I not receive a call that day, but I had to call in the next day after they had been open for several hours because I still had not received a call from the vet. The second time I called I told the person it was an emergency situation. When I called in the most recent time (after not receiving a call back the day before), the person I spoke with didn’t say anything about why the vet didn’t call me themselves, they gave me their own advice. I can’t imagine the vet was too busy to have a 5 minute conversation with me about my dog. These people do not care about you or your animal. Also, any products they sell you at their location are more expensive than you could buy online. Overall, I think this place is not run very well. If I was you I would find a different vet. I wish I could rate negative stars.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience at VCA Park Hill. We just moved to Denver and my dog got attacked by another dog yesterday, VCA got her in immediately for an appointment. My dog has bad separation anxiety and they did everything they could to make her comfortable- and she was! Dr Pradhan was so great and kept me updated on my dogs status throughout the day. We will definitely be making this hospital her primary vet!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the front desk person's attitude on the phone made us switch from this practice. I had been getting mail and text reminders to get my dog in so called to schedule and after holding, was unapologetically told appointments were 3 weeks out. We had been coming here for a few years and it was convenient to our home, but will seek a practice that has time for it's established patient's needs. We like Dr. Pete as well. I love my dogs, but don't want unnecessary testing which I never feel like has been pushed here even with geriatric dogs. It's a clean convenient spot off Colfax and Ruby likes to go here. The app works well too and we've never not been able to get in when we need to.

VCA Care Club has been the best investment I’ve made in the life of my pet. Rather than relying on insurance or luck, I have a set amount I pay for his care each month. Vaccines, dental cleaning and general vet services are all included. When we did have a pancreas issue a few months back, they made space for Harvey immediately and he was back to normal in 3 days. Incredibly grateful for the expertise and outstanding customer service here!

My interactions with VCA have been awesome so far. The techs and the vet are super friendly and didn’t make my interaction feel rushed even though they were running behind. I’m excited to live only a mile away and be able to walk my mutt to his check ins. They take Care Credit and they have threat own app that can be used for reminders, requesting appointments, etc. All in all super convenient.

Love Dr Garner and the VCA Park Staff! Having worked at a few veterinary clinics myself, I have pretty high standards for veterinary care and this hospital exceeds my expectations! They got me in right away after adopting Thurston for a check up and spent time getting to know us. They are kind, knowledgeable, explain the details, and care about making the visit as stress-free as possible for my grumpy cat. They recommended a treatment plan that ultimately saved us a lot of money on his dental work that had to be done. During his dental, they updated me throughout the procedure on his extractions and the costs. I highly recommend choosing VCA Park Hill if you are looking for professionals who really care.

It has been difficult to get to know the staff since the Covid restrictions. We recently moved back to Denver and selected Park Hill VCA. Sadly it is extremely difficult to find appointment times when urgent needs arise and I have had to go to the Emergency Clinic, both during regular business hours.
