We have been taking our dog to Tender Touch for close to 12 years now and have been thoroughly satisfied with their veterinary knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail and friendliness of their staff. We would highly recommend them to any other pet owners!

I have been going to Tender Touch Animal Hospital for my dog and cat for the last 4 years. They are incredible, and always so honest about where the health and well being of my animals are. They are super helpful and warm when delivering bad news, and always have great game plans for my babies. I especially want to shout out Dr. Barr, who has literally watched the progression of both my girls aging (they are both senior citizens). They are wonderful, and their technicians are also so patient. I love them and will continue to go to them for years to come!

The Tender Touch family (especially Drs Theissen and Barr) has cared for our cats and dog for years. They are kind, transparent, and excellent providers. When we have had to say goodbye to two of our beloved little guys, I could not have asked for a better team to see us through.

I’ve taken both of my dogs here for several years. All of the vets, techs and office team have been wonderful. My rescue dogs are highly anxious around new people (which makes me anxious) but Tender Touch works well with us to get through appointments as easily as possible. I was in yesterday and Dr. Graf spent a lot of time with me advising on things to do to help my senior dog with the aging process. This is a very caring animal hospital and I recommend them.

Quick to respond and able to get my dog in on short notice. Kind staff every time! We love this place.

My husband and I have been bringing our pets here for years. There is nowhere else in Denver I would take my pets. Truly wonderful, caring people that take all the time necessary to explain things to you. Compassionate care at any stage in your pet’s journey.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve been going here for years, and Dr Graf is the best. She really listens to my concerns, and is very thorough with the health of my pets. With elderly pets especially, the list of problems can be overwhelming. Dr Graf always keeps their comfort (and mine!) in mind, with lots of options, clear plans, and a down to earth attitude. This is not an in and out place, this is a call/email us anytime, the more information the better, we really care kind of place. Everyone at Tender Touch has been nothing but kind and professional. I know you want the best for your pets, and this is it.

I’ve been bringing my cat to Tender Touch for about 6 years. Staff are super friendly and communicative, they explain treatment options and recommendations clearly and are very transparent about pricing. I have an indoor/outdoor cat, and Tender Touch is always able to take him for a last minute check up when he gets beat up in fights with the neighbor cats. The vets provide very thorough examinations and care.

The people who make Tender Touch the most amazing wellness center for our furry loved ones are endlessly amazing. I have never felt anything but heard, respected, empowered and appreciated at Tender Touch. Love these folks!

Tender Touch takes such good care of my pups. Little Lucy had too much fun at a friends house for Turkey day and suddenly started limping. It got worse the day after Turkey day and they were able to get her in for X-rays when I know they were understaffed for the day. I appreciate them so much!!

I have been going to Tender Touch Animal Hospital for 8 years now and everyone is always great. I have moved away from the area and was thinking of switching up to something closer to my home but I have a difficult cat who hates everyone but she LOVES Dr. Barr so I’m happy to drive a couple extra miles to get the love and care that she needs. Totally recommend!

Another update(11/2021): I’ve been a client for 11 years and will continue to recommend Dr. Barr, Dr. Graf, and TTAH to anyone seeking a veterinary hospital to work with. I recently lost a pet and TTAH sent a lovely condolence letter. Highly recommend the hospital and the doctors. Very cat friendly hospital and very down to earth staff Update: another year has passed and I am still a happy TTAH client, and believe that they have handled the COVID outbreak very responsibly, with safety of pets, clients and staff as a primary concern Initial review: I have been a client of TTAH for almost ten years. Dr. Barr is really just a great person, a great veterinarian, and very down to earth and easy to talk to. The other doctors are wonderful as well, but I have really developed a relationship with Dr. Barr in particular. I trust her, the technicians, and the clinic as a whole with the health and wellness of my two dogs and will never go anywhere else unless I move out of the area. The staff are honest, kind, welcoming people and it truly shows how much they care about all their clients and their clients' pets. I have referred multiple people as clients over the years, and they have all been pleased with the clinic.

They were able to squeeze Zoe, my 12 year old Terrier, in for emergency dental surgery the day I called. They are so caring and so professional. Dr. Thiessen is the best vet I’ve ever met. She’s helped me on so many levels… from my cat Huey, who was diagnosed with acromegaly to my latest incident with Zoe. Dr. Thiessen even emailed at 9:30 the night of Zoe’s surgery, to see how she was doing. They are amazing and I would recommend her and Tender Touch hands down.

I brought my 13 year old pup here for a checkup for some issues he's been having and they were wonderful. They caught issues my previous vet never even mentioned and am working with me on a treatment plan. I love my new vet!

We have always received the best and most compassionate care from the staff at Tender Touch. We have a cat with heart disease, and his doctor is always forthright with what he needs for care, but she also understands our financial limitations in his ongoing care and offers us alternatives to keep him healthy and happy without going to extremes in treating him.

We took both of our cats to see Dr. Barr on a Friday afternoon. For a Friday afternoon, she was able to get all of our needed testing done and questions answered thoroughly. For seas many concerns we had, we never felt like we were taking up too much time and felt very taken care of!

We have been taking out three dogs here for years. Two of them are older and have several chronic health issues. Drs. Barr and Thiesen are really great at diagnosing, offering a variety of treatment solutions, and are able to get us in when there’s a crisis situation pretty easily.

Tender Touch is the BEST vet experience in Colorado. Dr. Barr is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and truly knows our dog, and takes the time to work with our dog's high maintenance and anxiety issues. They are so kind here and it is obvious everyone truly loves animals there!

My dog can get very excited when going to the vet and can be a lot to handle. The doctor was amazing and worked so well with him. They were professional, thorough, and very helpful. So glad they were recommended to us, especially since we're new to the Denver area.
