This place deserves 5 stars.. My dog loves coming to the pet resort. When I drive into the parking lot she is so excited and can't wait to go in. The vet care has also been excellent. I highly recommend Overland.

I have taken all my cats and dogs to Overland for the past almost 8 years. One of my dogs is very reactive, and both resort and veterinary staff, along with the on-site trainer, have worked with her (and more importantly, me) to make her visits as pleasant as possible. I love that grooming, resort, and veterinary services are all in the same place, which also helps all my pets feel comfortable going to a familiar place for everything. I really trust all of the staff at Overland with my critters.

I took my chihuahua she was very sick and they got me right in even though I didn't have an appointment. Everybody was so nice and helpful

We love Overland and our favorite trainer, Erica! My anxious and fearful rescue has been working with Erica for about 6 months now and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. He has become a more confident version of himself since working with her. The entire staff at Overland is great. If you are looking for trainers, I highly recommend training here with Erica.

TRAINING PROGRAM REVIEW : We adopted a 10 month old dog from a shelter that was said to be fine with other dogs, which turned out to not be the case. Erica truly changed our lives. We gave her a very clear goal and she was extremely honest with us and set realistic expectations. We got into a program and kept up with all the homework she gave us. It was not a quick fix but that was to be expected with the goals we had set. Now everytime we leave the house for a walk, we're thankful for her. When adopting a dog from the shelter you never know what you're going to get but Erica helped us through all of our 'issues' and I recommend getting a training package no matter what your goals are. She made herself available for phone calls, or emails when we went on a trip back home. We cannot thank her enough for what she's done for our family and the freedom she has given us through her dedication and care of our guy. Could not recommend her more! The entire staff at Overland is always friendly, helpful, and caring.

We've been taking our aging pup here for nearly 3 years for both boarding and vet visits. The entire staff is amazing and make us feel welcome every visit! Drs. Brown and P are the most caring and considerate veterinarians! Love Overland!

The workers and doctors are always exceptionally friendly and caring of my pets. My partner as well as roommate have had some trouble waiting on the phone with the office. Often, we have experienced waits in the parking lot to receive our credit cards back. It is frustrating to see other customers who arrive after us receive their pets and leave before we do. Although the staff is great, there seems to be some miscommunication in the office leading to our long waits

My dog has been going to the trainer, daycare and vet for two years now, and we both love it there! He has separation anxiety as well as a bite history and they have helped us a lot to help him get what he needs!

I’ve been working with Isabelle for nearly a year and she has completely changed our lives! We started training to master leash walking and basic obedience for my Doberman, Harris. We then worked through Harris’ passionate dislike for the vet and I knew we were in amazing hands with Isabelle and the whole Overland team who let us complete a check up in the training room vs. the medical side. Through diligent training, preparation and cooperative care, Isabelle made what was initially a stressful and scary situation (for Harris and I) much calmer and safer for everyone. Harris and I looked forward to every single session with Isabelle and he is a happier, more engaged dog because of her. If you have ever considered training to brush up on old skills or learn some new ones, consider this your sign!

My two bullies stay at the pet resort and love it! I always feel confident that they will have fun but more importantly, it anything happens, they are there for them with all health records and their doctor who they are familiar with. Overland and Dr Mendola have been so great with both Dolly and Dickie! Feel very lucky to have them as part of my dog’s team!

They are listed on the AKC website as a vet that accepts the AKC Complimentary Wellness check coupons that new owners receive with their new pups and they will not honor it. I specifically mentioned that I had the coupon before giving my information to be contacted for an appointment and after scheduling the appointment was told they don't accept them "due to Covid". What an unfair joke to new pet owners.

My husband and I discovered Overland a few years ago, when my parents were visiting Denver with their pup. She was sweet with humans but very dog aggressive, and our dogs couldn’t safely be around her. My parents lacked good boarding options in their small town, so we reached out to Overland regarding their boarding services and immediately knew she was in good hands. More recently we have used Overland a few times to board our senior French Bulldog, who has spine issues that affect her mobility and bowel control; and elderly Chihuahua, who was medicated for pulmonary hypertension. Since caring for them is somewhat complicated, we wanted them at a place where a vet is on staff in case anything arises during our time away (vs in-home petsitting). Neither had been boarded before. Every time we checked in on the webcams our pups were relaxing in their suites, and a few times we caught staff sitting on the floor and playfully interacting with them. Both came back from boarding at Overland relaxed, content, and 100% normal- not the slightest bit of “boarding anxiety” detected. Recently we had to put our little Chihuahua to sleep, and the staff at Overland made the sweetest memorial for her, including photos they had taken with her during her time there. It truly moved us during a very painful time, and shows the integrity of the staff- they are a great group of people that really care about the pets that stay with them. We are so, so thankful to have found them.

We have two dogs, one in the beginning stages of life and one settling down in his later years. Both have their particular needs so-to-speak and Overland does an amazing job at accommodating both of them. We always feel like they are being taken care and have a great time while they are there. We have moved quite a bit and travel frequently for work and everything Overland does is much appreciated!

Every one has been extremely supportive of my family and our little rescues. They do not judge instead they go above and beyond to help us through this very difficult time. I could not imagine doing this without them. Thank you Overland ????

(This review is for the pet resort only.) we’ve been coming here five years with our dogs and couldn’t be happier! ALL the staff - front desk ladies (so nice!), pet resort (love you all!), and everyone are so kind and thorough. We really appreciate how strict their policies are about the health of the dogs. Before boarding or daycare, they REQUIRE a fecal sample every 3 months to ensure that the dog is healthy when being around the other dogs. Admittedly at first I did not like this but I really appreciate it because I know my dogs are in good care and that this facility is professional and actually cares about their health instead of just making money and packing them in. My dogs are like my kids and so I only want the best for them and this resort is wonderful ! THANK YOU Overland animals hospital and pet resort team — we really appreciate you and don’t know what we would do without you! thank you for taking good care of our babies!

Overland Animal Hospital will treat you like family. Their care and kindness for you pets is unparalleled in any other practice. I came to Overland at a time when I had an elderly dog and a brand new puppy; both were having health problems at the same time. I cannot express the relief and peace of mind Overland's wonderful customer care gave me. They helped me make very hard decisions at my dogs end of life; and even sent me condolence cards when she passed. Even more than their care and kindness; they also never encourage you to do unnecessary testing or surgeries. A lot of other vets will gouge you when you have a sick dog nearing the end of their life. Another vet recommend surgeries and chemo for my 12 year old dog that would have cost over $10,000 and couldn't promise me any more time with the dog. The vets at Overland were honest with me; they talked to me about "quality of life" a lot. Those surgeries would have ensure nothing but that my dog would spend the last year of her life in pain as the cancer had already gone too far. Instead; Overland helped me manage the pain and monitor my baby's quality of life. When it was time to say goodbye I was comforted by the knowledge that Overland and I had done everything for her and ensured together that her last year was as happy and healthy as possible. Picking a vet is about more than yearly shots; it's about who's going to be by your side when you have to make those tough decisions. The best choice will always be Overland Animal Hospital.

My old dog Boomer and I went in to train with Erica to help with his resource guarding as well as handling while at the vet… we had to go to the vet yesterday (also at Overland!) and everything Erica taught us came into play. Still some learning to do, but it was like having a completely different dog - he was so well behaved and we have Erica’s knowledge and training to thank. Thank you Overland for all you do!

I just want to give a huge shoutout to the friendly staff at Overland Animal Hospital ???????? Our dog Baja was lost since last night after getting out of our yard and someone turned him in to you all this morning and you kept a watch after him with care. My family and I are incredibly thankful to whoever turned him in to you all and also your staff for watching after him for a couple hours until we got there. Our first time in the office together as a new family. My dog was comfortable so I was too. The care and empathy shown after a dog bite to the ear was handled gently and professionally. All my questions were answered in addition to getting a lesson on the proper way to clean inside dog ears, along with a product recommendation..who knew?. The vibe of staff and Dr.P was positive and friendly... Cost, reasonable... hours, perfect.. my boy, happy and healing.

They're just great to our dogs every time we bring them there to daycare. They even know us by name now. I recommend them to everyone.

I've had 4 dogs here for regular medical and excellent daycare, also 2 dogs for Obedience training with top of the line trainers!!

I took my dog there because she got really sick out of nowhere it was the only vet open at the time. And the guy there said I had to have an appointment that there was nothing they could do even though it was an emergency and no other customers were there.he also said very rudely to go try another vet and she died later that night.

Boarded my dog for a few days and was very happy with our experience. It is a very well run facility with a large helpful staff and excellent service. Loved the webcams so I could check in on my dog's time in the kennel and the play areas. Will definitely refer to family and friends and come back for doggy playdays.
