We’ve been here twice now and both times my pup has come home looking absolutely amazing!!! He loves being pampered by them, and as a bit of a nervous dog mom seeing his smile definitely set me at ease???? we’ve for sure found our groomer!

We heard such good things about this place we decided to give it a try but The next day our dog look like he had a whole bunch of dandruff all over him I tried to communicate with the owner but no response back I'm very disappointed this has never happened.

This was my first time to ever take my dog to a groomer, and I was so happy and impressed by their services! I was very anxious to take our dog (a Border Collie) to a groomer because I've heard horror stories about dogs who looked worse than when they came in, but what was even more horrible were the dogs who had been cut and were bleeding. But our Border Collie has a very thick undercoat which was very, very matted. I knew it was starting to bother him and something needed to be done, but I didn't know how to safely handle it. From the moment I walked in the door and met Brandi, my anxiety went away and I knew he would be in good hands. The first thing she did was to sit down on the floor with him so he could meet her. She barely touched him - just enough to get a brief idea of how bad the mats were - but she didn't want to handle him too much until he got a chance to know her better. She answered all my questions with respect and patience until I felt comfortable and assured that her grooming techniques were not going to hurt him. When I picked him up, I was totally amazed that all the mats and tangles were gone! He looked beautiful. But what really sealed my gratefulness was when she got on the floor to say goodbye, and he started giving her kisses. I would highly recommend this groomer to anyone!

Finally found a cat groomer to trim my cat’s nails! Most places I’ve called said they do not have a cat groomer/not seeing new clients for cats. I was was so grateful to bring my baby in since she will not let me touch her nails. Lucky Dog Grooming was responsive and my cat did well here. The groomers were super sweet. Will be bringing her back!

We took our super sensitive (85#) baby boy in for grooming. He doesn’t like going in their kennel and he doesn’t like the drying process. He had also been skunked - twice - in our back yard within the last month. They were so amazing with our sweet boy and they didn’t push him beyond his comfort level. He was wonderfully ‘de-stink-ified’ and is now super silky and shiny, and most importantly, happy! The girl who was there said she was the dog washer. This is a person who deserves respect and appreciation, as that is a big, labor intensive, wet and I’m sure stinky job, and she did an absolutely outstanding job taking the most amazing care of us and of our boy. Highly, highly recommend Lucky Dog Grooming!!

Brandi is very patient with each dog. She can read their personalities and makes sure they feel comfortable and safe throughout the grooming process. She also offers this fabulous DE-SHEDDING shampoo that helps release the undercoat while saving my dogs from hours standing to be brushed. Definitely recommend Lucky Dog Grooming/Brandi! :)

We’ve been going to Brandi for a nail trim every 2-4 weeks for the last 3 months, she is AMAZING. Our dog had so much fear and anxiety about getting his nails cut that I just couldn’t do it safely at home. After going to see Brandi regularly (and lots of boiled chicken), our dog has become much more comfortable with process and now it only takes a couple minutes. Highly highly recommend nail trims (and baths!) here

Brandi and Shawna groomed my Cat named Puppy he's a Maincoon mix and was pretty matted. He got a bath they dematted him for me and clipped his nails. I thought he'd be mad but to my surprise he was very happy after. Also the price was very reasonable especially compared to other groomers I've used in the past. Thank you lucky Dog Groomers for taking great care of my kitty for me!!

Awwww they took such great care of my older Cat Grady. They trimmed his nails and bathed him. They were so gentle and kind. I could tell because when I picked him up he was completely relaxed..... I will be using Lucky dog from now on.

Brandi can take two dirty, stinking, overgrown goldens and work her magic so they come home looking wonderful. She has a great can-do attitude and is always on time. The dogs love her and I love my clean, good-looking dogs! After owning goldens for more than 4 decades, and bouncing around to multiple groomers in town, I'm delighted to find excellence so close to home.

We went to Lucky Dog through a recommendation feom another friend with a goldendoodle. When we took our pup the first time i was a bit taken aback when i walked in- the “lobby” area is half painted and has nothing that makes you feel at ease.. a quick look through the window to the back was more unsettling .. didnt appear clean or large enough to house many dogs for any length of tome. But i put my concerns aside since some had recommended the place.. we dropped him off at 9 and he wasnt ready until 2 pm .. when we picked him up he looked great the cut was wonderful - hence two stars instead of one. We did notice that he peed for what seemed like forever- an indication to me that he hadnt gone the entire time he was there. Nevertheless wr did book again for today. This time when we went to take our pup - who is ten months old super friendly and happy.. he started shaking like he was scared. Hes NEVER done that. So we thought it will still be okay. We dropped him off and drove back home however we continued to try and rationalize why he might be scared. I reached out to my friend who had recommended Lucky Dog and he said after his last visit he decided he wasnt going back either. Said his pup came back matted eveb after he paid extra for deshedding .. didnt seem like they rinsed him off and that he was in a crate when he picked him up. That was all we needed - so we promptly turned our car around and went back to get our guy. He came out still wet they apparently were in the midst of washing him .. but he smells like an old man.. and we did share the reasons why with the woman who was working. Our pup is like one of us and we expect the standard to be what we would want if we went there. If t was a place for humans i would NEVER have gone there - much less let someone do a cleaning when the place in its entirety was so poorly kept. I don't know and cant speak to how the owners feel abour puppies all i can go off is what i can see and how our puppy reacted. ..and apparently they dont care enough to make a space that is inviting and represents the kind of care they say they give. We wont be back.

We have a bigger dog and a lot of places wouldn't even take him for grooming. Not only do they take bigger pups but they do an amazing job. Thank you LDG

Prices have gone up a lot since I last went and they took so long at my last visit. I dropped my dog off at 11am, they hadn't even started on him until after 2pm and he was ready at 4:30pm. Why schedule an appointment if they are just going to keep the dog caged all day?? They charged me extra for "special care and handling" which did not happen the previous 2x my dog was groomed here. The groomer does always do a great job, but my recent visit with the time and prices has turned me off of this place, what a shame.

I bring my very sheddy border collie shepherd mix here and they deshed like noone else. My dog is also very scared and they handle her with so much care. They are gentle and great at what that do! 10/10 would recommend!!

Lucky Dog has is by far the best groomer. I rarely take my dog to a groomer because he is not particularly keen on bathing, but Brandi is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely experienced. I would highly recommend Lucky Dog above all else.

Wooow!! These AMAZING people went out of their way to make sure my dog left happy and pretty! I came in for a nail trimming and she, out of the kindness of her heart, groomed my dog for about 5 minutes ????ℝ???????? ???????? ℂℍ????ℝ???????? (I gave her a tip for her incredible service!!) This is a great place to get your pup groomed! The staff are all very nice and clearly love dogs a lot. Brandi is very skilled at shaping her thick coat up just right, and makes her soft, fluffy and shiny! ☺️☺️

I used to bring my dogs here, exclusively. I’ve contacted them on six separate occasions to make an appointment and they don’t return my calls. Murdoch’s on Hampden is my new go-to place for dog grooming. They do a great job and actually want my business.

The dogs are happy when we get them back! Sometimes going to the groomer can be traumatic but they love this place and the groomers too.

Emma always looks great after her grooming appointments. The staff is professional.

Amazing staff, great communication and I really respect their adherence to sanitation and standards during COVID. They did an amazing job on our dog Joey and I would HIGHLY recommend Lucky Dog Grooming!
