Dr. Loyer is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything in a way that can be understood. Really nice staff. I trust them with my dogs health issues. Will continue to take my Bella here.

Literally called about 15 different veterinary services looking for anyone that had availability to be able to do an ultrasound in house. Choice was the highest rated and the best price as most places tried to tack on fees and shenanigan's, would gladly bring my little buddy back here anytime.

Amazing team of doctors who are focused on your puppy. Actually treated better than human doctors. Their bedside manner is on point and they care. From their intake people to pre op, to Actually day of operation they keep you informed. Just can't say enough good things about them.

This was our first visit here w our dog and the team was so warm, calm, and conversational that they felt like family. We felt right away that this was a team that would love our dogs like we do and be straightforward with us about what does or does not need to be done. Glad we found them!

Expect to have your time wasted. The vet service we had been using for about 4 years has become increasingly overwhelmed. We had used the emergency pet hospital attached to the Choice Veterinary Specialists clinic a few times in the past for urgent issues. With good ratings we assumed Choice Veterinary Specialists would be a good clinic for our pets. I called and explained in detail that my dog was due a heart worm test and needed a skin tag checked. The intake person made an appointment that was 9 days out as it was the soonest available. In showing up for my appt the tech came out and explained they had mistakenly made my appt with a vet cardiologist. She apologized for the mistake but offered no explanation. Much of my day was wasted and now I have to find another clinic and my dog has to wait another great length of time to be seen.

They were very careful with my dog. They took very good care of him.

I took my dog in for an emergency heart problem Her heart beat was irregularly irregular, had no pattern to it at all. Doctor that examined her was Dr. Loyer I believe is how you spell it, he came out and gave me every little bit of information possible. He told me exactly what was wrong, what could have caused it, explained all meds and what they are/do. He was completely honest and let me know that they may not work, he game me the time frame of how long he sees her living, he told me everything and was completely honest. He also informed me that he would be on vacation soon so to call him before hand if anything comes up. He also called the next day to see how she was doing. The first vet I took her to, Community Pet Hospital, pretty much told me that she's going to dye and all they did was an ultrasound and sent me on my way. I have never been to Choice Veterinary until this, and I couldn't be happier with them. All doctors were very open and extremely informative and nice.

Dr. Loyer and his technicians are absolutely wonderful people who provide affordable services in comparison to most specialty clinics. They’re personable, timely, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. They handled my very wiggly cat well, which isn’t an easy task (and I work at a vet hospital- he’s a handful). Thank you all for being so welcoming, and for giving my cat the best care!

What a great experience we had today, we took our precious cat in for some very necessary cardiac assessments and Dr Caroll Loyer and all the Staff were both kind, friendly, professional and caring.

My cat was referred to a cardiologist by my family vet, who recommended Dr. Loyer at Choice Veterinary Specialists. I could not be happier. The visit was extraordinarily pleasant and free of stress for me and my beloved cat. The entire staff was awesome from making the appointment to checking out. Dr. Loyer and his technician had a wonderful manner and handled my cat with care. The echocardiogram was performed in a comfortable private room with me present. It was obvious to me that this group of professionals truly love what they do and they are so very good at it. I left very satisfied with the diagnosis, treatment plan, and cost. I look forward to our follow-up appointment. I am very happy with my family vet, but wish Dr. Loyer could take over all of my veterinarian needs.

Dr. Loyer was an incredible asset when my dog began exhibiting signs heart complications a couple months back. I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Loyer the same day I called, and I was very impressed with the entire staff’s professionalism and friendliness. Dr. Loyer was thorough, honest, and provided all of the facts and possible avenues for treatment, and then helped me decide which would be best for our situation. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to put our dog Chuck down last week, and Dr. Loyer again fit us in the day we called, and was ready for us immediately when we arrived. His genuine care made a very difficult and painful situation much more manageable. We definitely plan to come back to Choice anytime we have future veterinary needs!

As a person that has worked in a Vets Office for 20+ years, this place is AWESOME!.. They provided care for my French bulldog, my Cavalier king Charles spaniel, and my Brussels Griffon, all requiring ultrasounds. Two for heart problems; one for digestive issues. I drove from Lakewood to see the dr here. And I continue to use them for the above dogs and a dachshund with a Grade 4 Heart Murmur. I highly recommend them. I like supporting the smaller clinic not the corporations.

I had the most incredible experience with Dr. Loyer and the team at CVS. My dog has had cardio issues since I adopted her at the age of 1-- she is now 6. I'm new to CO and was very worried to get a new cardiologist. Little did I know, a new cardiologist was exactly what we needed! Dr. Loyer preformed all of the tests (EKG etc) in front of me and explained what he saw the entire way through. You could tell he GENUINELY loves animals, as he played with Nell and she was so at ease with him. He explained her diagnosis to me in a way that made sense and showed me what he found through the results of her testing. He eased a lot of my concerns and helped me feel as though her condition could be very manageable-- and it is! I am so thankful to have found this clinic and will shout from the rooftops how much I appreciate their presence in our community!
