Really pleased with the quality of the grooming I paid for. My doggo is looking handsome, happy, and clean. Very easy to reserve a time and find the location. The staff and dogs there were all very friendly and helpful. The store itself had great character.

Always a great place to wash the dogs. Easy to get in and out and very reasonably priced.

They did a great job! I can always tell how my dog was treated during the grooming, Elsa was very happy and enjoyed the whe experience. We'll be back soon!

Nice little dog wash! Think it’s neat they use truck beds as the wash tubs. Friendly staff, has all that you need to clean your little 4 legged pal.

Will be returning and referring! I have a 140lb dog that we struggle to find a good self service wash for. This place checked every box and the staff was helpful. I would recommend for any large dog owner wash their pup here.

Used Smudge's for the first time last week and I'm thoroughly impressed. They got me in within weeks of calling and the owner was very friendly and professional. Lindsay was amazing in that she listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for in grooming my pyredoodle. The shampoo has a strong, but not overpowering scent and my dog still smells great 5 days later. I've been searching for another groomer for the last several months and I think that I've found the place.

Amazing! I love this place, I used their self wash and immediately when i walked in , it was such a cool atmosphere with the cutest trucks to wash your dogs in. They were full at the time so i went outside to go play in the little dog space they had and someone came out and offered me a brush to use on my pup. I have a 7 month old GSD who usually doesn’t like baths, but he loved it and came out super soft and happy! They also offer boarding and daycare for the best prices! Needless to say I will definitely be coming back :)

We have been taking our dogs to here since the beginning of the year. Bring our own towels and supplies. we have 2 small, short haired dogs. Have always been charged $13.00, went last week and paid $30.96 essentially for water. Ridiculous!!! Nice staff, but $31 for water......?

My dog loves this place. She’s a covid pup and afraid of people and dogs. I bring her to daycare once a week for socializing and she’s tired for days!

Great People, Take great care of your Pet

So the reviews of this place were really promising and I was excited to get my dog groomed here! I just moved here from another state so finding a good groomer was one of the first things on my list. Let me start by saying this place has really great customer service. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and taken care of and the same for the pick up. The groomer was extremely friendly and my dog came out looking clean and soft (I'd taken him there for a bath and deshedding treatment). Originally, when I'd called, I was quoted $45-50 with the deshedding being a possible $5-10 extra depending on my dog's coat (he's a short-haired mixed breed). When I went to check out, I was rung up for $66. I paid it, that's fine I guess... as long as the quality of work is good. I take my dog straight home and notice fur flying all over the car. As soon as we get home, I pet him and fur is just flying off. I got his brush and brushed him for no longer than 5 minutes and the brush was FULL of fur. I don't understand how I paid EXTRA for the deshedding treatment only to find my dog shedding worse than he was before he got there! It's like they cut his hair shorter but didn't brush his coat deep enough... I don't know what happened. Sad to say that I was disappointed with the work this place did on my dog and I'll be continuing my search for another grooming place in CO Springs. Update: the owner called and once again, offered great customer service. He was apologetic about my experience and also said he would make it right. I’ll give them another chance based off of their excellent customer service alone. Hopefully the quality of the next service is up to par and I can use them as our groomer while we’re stationed here!

Great service, friendly staff, and they love our dogs!! And our dogs can't wait to go to doggie day care, they run out of the car when we get there!!

Amazing there's few words that can describe how useful and helpful smudges is they have very friendly employees and the soap and conditioner for the dogs smell amazing its just overall amazing

Fantastic and caring animal lovers. I have an 11 year old German Shepard. He has disc issues and is weak in the hind end. These folks are so caring and patient with him. He always looks and smells great even weeks after his grooming. He feels so much better every time. I will go nowhere else for any grooming need. You guys are wonderful, keep doing what you’re doing!!

Awesome place! After using this place for 2 years, thier shampoo&conditioner is amazing! Even after my lab does multiple water retrieves and field retrieves she smells just like the day we washed her. Great place p

What a great place!! Clean and friendly. They have everything you need or bring your own supplies. I’m On a road trip and stopped in to wash the dirty beagle. He acknowledged me the instant I came in the store and pointed to where I could wash Buster. I would stop there again for sure. Do you ever plan on franchising? ????????

Our puppy comes here everyday while we are at work. He comes home exhausted after a long day of playtime! He is well taken care of and the facility is very well kept and cleaned.

I have taken my dogs for their self wash many times and I have always have been impressed by their service and cleanliness. I recently had them groom my two corgis for desheeding and they did an amazing job! This is only the second time I have left my dogs with a grooming service so I was very stressed. They listened to me and took notes to make sure that my dogs were taken care of in the best way possible. I will definitely be back not only for self grooming but for their other services.
