Great experience with Dr. Markel and her team! They are extremely pleasant to work with and have the pet's best in mind. They were able to get me in on very short notice, and their prices are awesome.

Excellent service, caring staff, Doctor's very responsive, good quality, very professional, staff clearly simplified & explained pre /post ops, medicine application, after care and cautioned to call if any negative conditions after treatment were to present. Very busy place but every patient and furball guardian treated like they were the only one staff cared about. Absolutely recommend. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the Doctor and staff as I am a retired Veterinary Tech within the complex military veterinary corp, working with various breeds of military police working dogs - drug sniffers, guard, security and surveilance.

I feel I received the best care possible for my cat Abbey. The staff that treated Abbey was very kind and friendly. I wouldn't take my pet anywhere else.

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because of availability with my preferred provider. However, that being said, I have been coming here for over 10 years. My first baby was one Dr. Welfare’s first patients when he opened the practice. Everyone is amazing. I keep saying I’m going to find a closer clinic because it would be more convenient for me but I can’t get myself to do. All the doctors, receptionists, assistants, and anyone else I have come across have always been amazing and friendly, even with the staff changes throughout the years. Everyone treats my babies like their own and for that I truly appreciate each and everyone one of you. From my family to yours, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. I refuse to take my little guys anywhere else. I own two sugar gliders. Obviously difficult pets to work on. Anytime I have needed anything these guys have been there to help me out and help me understand exactly what’s going to happen. Dr. Welfare is amazing! Definitely recommend for not only exotic pets, but other furry friends as well.

Our puppy went in and had multiple things performed, from spay, teeth extractions and a gastro surgery. The staff and Dr kept us informed every step of the way making what would have been a stressful day much easier. Thank you to the whole team.

Anytime Breckenridge needs care or just a check, the entire staff welcomes her and cares for her!! Really a blessing if your animal is high maintenance as ours is!!!

Our sweet 16-year-old boy, Sanford, had quite a bit of care at North Powers, but unfortunately his health quickly declined and we had to say goodbye to him. I was completely devastated, but Dr. Peters and all the staff were so caring and respectful during the whole process. They made one of the hardest moments of my life with my best friend easier to bear. It is something I will never forget and I truly appreciate their caring.

I have a great experience bringing my dog to North Powers Animal Hospital. I am drawing a blank on the Dr.'s name but she was so helpful and took her time explaining the situation and was very clear about the plan to resolve my rotties ear infection. It was also nice to see the rates here a very affordable. Takes a lot of stress off being a pet owner when you find a reliable vet!

I love seeing Dr. Welfare. He is extremely empathetic, knowledgeable, scientific and always makes my dogs feel calm. He is a top-notch vet that always has my animals best interest at heart.

My dog was treated for very serious lacerations from a couple of dogs attacking him, I took him to an emergency vet. Afterwards I took him to North Powers Animal Hospital where the vet tech Kenny gave him a check up, he informed me that the emergency vet incorrectly stitched him up (a couple of his stitches had busted open) and they gave him the wrong dosage for his medication he was prescribed. Kenny fixed him up and gave him the correct meds and sent him on his way, he has made a full recovery and is better than ever. I truly believe the knowledge, experience and professionalism that the vet tech Kenny displayed is the reason my pup is in such great shape today and very possibly saved his life. Highly recommend this clinic and vet tech.

So thankful for the doctors and vet techs that work at North Powers Animal Hospital. They were able to squeeze my girl in for an appointment and help her with her pain! Every staffs member was super helpful and nice. It is hard to get good customer service in this day and age and they delivered! I would highly recommend anyone to visit this office with their pets. Will definitely make this a permanent place to take my kitties if anything were to happen! 10/10

Staff was very attentive to my Dexter and his needs as well as answering all my questions, staff was kind and heart felt throughout the entire appt, they were very professional and caring with everything that was going on with my ????, thanks for all you done

I was able to get my Boston Terrier in under an emergency appointment, he had issues with his eyes. Thankfully the eye cream they gave him helped and it doesnt look like there will be any lasting issues.. They were amazing and super helpful.

I don't write a ton of reviews. It is either for awesome service or terrible service. This review is because this Vet and clinic is top notch. There are not enough stars to give NP Animal Hospital. We had never been there as we are fairly new to Colorado Springs and travel to Texas and the Springs often. Our vet that we normally see is in Texas. Animal Hospital worked us in, not even knowing our Great Dane. They were so very kind and loving towards us as they shared the news that she had a mass on her spleen. The doctors explained throughly all of our options for her. Unfortunately, the cancer took her life quickly. The following week we had to put our beloved pet down. The doctor and owner sat with us after closing hours to go over everything again with our family. They allowed us to all be in the room as the put her to sleep for the last time. We were all very emotional and they were so sweet and kind to us. The office later sent us a card to tell us how sorry they were that we had lost our beloved pet. I highly recommend this clinic. They seem very knowledgeable and truly seem to care for animals and their owners. If we can ever love a pet again, we will be back.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They explained everything they were going to do and asked if we had any concerns. We really felt valued and cared for and our sweet Kooper loved them.

UPDATE 2021 - We still take all of our puppies to see Dr. Welfare and we still 100% recommend him and his staff. Yesterday I took one of ours in for a check up and (even with all of the covid safeguards) everyone was so kind and caring …
