Canine Design Salon and Country Club Colorado Springs, Colorado

I was a little disappointed and frustrated with this place due to a lot of miscommunication! When I first called to schedule my dogs for boarding, I was told that there would be no problem dropping my dogs off on a Sunday. Two weeks after I had scheduled the boarding, I had received a phone call saying that I was unable to drop my dogs off on a Sunday and that I would have to drop them off a day early or a day late. I could not drop them off a day late because we would be leaving town Sunday evening hence why we asked to drop them off on Sunday. At this moment in time, I had no choice but to drop them off a day early, for everywhere else was booked. I was upset at this point for I had but only a couple of days to decide what to do with my dogs. Secondly, when booking the boarding, I was told that my dogs could be dropped off anytime before 6. When booking my dogs in for Saturday instead, they did forget to mention that my dogs needed to be checked in before noon. I had gotten a call Saturday at noon informing me that they were closing and that I needed to get my dogs in. At this point I had decided that these guys do not communicate. Although their hours are posted, they just need to make it clear that their customers are aware. I had felt bad for my dogs for not only dropping them off a night early but a day and night early. At the very least, they could have offered me a free night stay for it was on their end that I had been misinformed in the first place and it was not only my dogs but my wallet who had to pay for that mistake. If I had another option for my dog's care, I would have taken them somewhere else. Question: If pets are boarded up in your care, then there must be somebody there 24/7, yes? If so, why is it that you cannot or do not check pets in on any given day? It is stressful enough for families and pets to be separated to have to board them a full day and night ahead of schedule. On that note, I am still grateful for my pets were taken care of. So thank you for at least that. But you guys need to have much better communication.

I will definitely use this service again. The facility is kept clean and maintained, the staff was kind to my dog. Their rates are reasonable (so make sure you tip them). She had a peaceful stay without incident. I can have peace of mind when I travel somewhere now.

Best place to send my doggies while I'm at work and when I go out of town! My dogs are always so excited to go. They are practically jumping out of the window when we get there!

This is a great place to bring your dog. They will be well maintained and given the proper amount of affection and time with staff. Staff is very friendly and accommodating for the dogs and clients. Management takes care of their staff. Six stars if I could!

First time customer here. It was concerning to see terrified cats in tiny cages peering out the window from the side of the establishment, which is off the waiting room. While it did appear there were many happy dogs playing inside a large room, I was there for grooming. Our golden doodle got the worst haircut she has ever had. She doesn’t look like a dog we recognize. They cut her beautiful long eyelashes, which is the first time anyone in five years has decided that was a good idea. I don’t know what else happened to her while she was there, but she is acting very traumatized and skittish now. My son wonders if they had shaving trainees from the military base doing the grooming.

We have been using their services for years, and could not be more pleased with the way they treat our special canine family member. We have implicit trust in Canine Country Club and their caring, kind employees. Our dog loves going here. Additionally, their grooming services a superb and very professional.

Very frendly staff, excellent care of our dog.

I took in my 5 month puppy, for her first grooming. She had a complete vet check the week prior when she received her final vaccines. Canine design plucked her ears during the grooming. The following morning both her ears were extremely sensitive to touch. By the afternoon her right ear was also smelling and oozing.I called my vet and they said the grooming was likely the issue for the problem. Canine Design took absolutely no responsibility nor did they offer any solution. If you care about sanitary conditions or your dog’s health I would be cautious. I went there because they had good reviews. Now I’m looking for emergency services because my vet cannot get her in!

Great people, Clean and safe Placebo for pets.

Margaret is very compassionate and really has a heart for animals. The kitties I met are content, eating well, purring and "making their biscuits." The enclosures face a sunny window. There's a ledge for sunning and the enclosures are spacious, with comfy beds. If you need to board your cat, you can rest easy that they're well cared for!

My Boxer pup, Maddie, had a blast. She even found a boyfriend with whom she played for hours. We will be back again. Thanks

A dog just knows when she has been cleaned up

This place is a little small, but big on customer service. I've not had any problems with reservations on sort of short notice and have boarded my dog and cat here with no complaints! I will continue to be a costumer.

Best groomer and daycare in Colorado Springs.

My dogs like going here to play, they even have a quiet time so all the dogs can rest a bit. The folks are nice and know my dogs by name. They have sales on the packages from time to time too!

Not recommended i was calling about her services and she said she doesn't take sales calls? Take your animal's elsewhere she hung up on me?? I'll find a more professional place. Not recommended

My GSD loves going here. The staff is great, and they are very attentive. We have gone here for grooming services and zero complaints. I drive by every morning, and I always see them walking the boarded pets- which is nice to see. Big box boarding stores keep your pets indoors 24/7. So glad they are so close to the neighborhood.

I love this place. More importantly my puppy loves it here. They know his name and they make you feel like you have the best dog in there. People are great, prices seem fair.

I needed to get my dogs nails cut asap and they did it as a walk in appointment and did it quick and perfectly in 10 minutes.
