Excellent service. Staff are professional.

Dr. Gregson is amazing. She walked my best friend gracefully through the final months of his long life. She kept him comfortable and employed reasonable measures to address issues without exploiting the chance to perform a bunch of useless procedures that would only serve to make the end of his life even less pleasant. She is now my forever vet and my new puppy loves her! Same deal. She's reasonable and will speak candidly about actual concerns. She'll go over pros and cons and tell me "what she would do". I haven't disliked any of the staff here. The techs are great. I have just mostly dealt with Dr. Gregson. Highly recommend!

Awesome. Open evenings and weekends for routine appointments. Visits are always accommodating. They're always so sweet to our animals and always willing to work with us.

Aurora Animal Hospital is great, I trust them with my animals. My family takes all our animals there and we’ve been going there for years. Their prices seem to be pretty expensive compared with other vets in the area which is the only draw back, but they do a great job and I always know I’m getting good care, so it’s worth it. Make sure you book your tech appts with plenty of time in advance tho, because they are very busy and sometimes have to book a few weeks out. But they are professional, caring, and always do a great job!

We love the care and attention of the staff and doctors here. We have been taking our labradoodle since she was a puppy, and she is now four. We love it here.

I took my cockatiel to get her wings clipped. I was feeling anxious about it, but Dr. Strickland was polite, loving to my cockatiel, and polite to us, and very professional. Thank you Aurora Animal Hospital for having such professional techs, and Avian Veteranirans. The technician, Bianca was also knowladgable, and professional.

Not terrible but not great. I took my senior cat in for a senior exam and paid full price to basically have them check her heart rate. I got no answers and they werent able to do blood work due to her unfriendly demeaner. Took me forever to get her in the cat kennel. Waste of time and money.

Very accomodating getting my dog in for an appointment.

They were able to get our cat in for an exam the same day. They were very friendly and thorough. Very helpful with information we needed for our first cat. Dr. Kant and her assistants were very kind and catching! Definitely recommend Aurora Animal Hospital for anyone looking for pet care!

I picked this vet clinic a) from reviews b) because not many vets see ferrets. It's always hard wondering if your new vet will be good or bad. I picked right! I'm so thankful that this vet was experienced enough with ferrets that she could tell what was wrong without charging me for unnecessary test. She was professional, personable,and educational. I'm so happy and relieved with my experience.

From checking in to my appointment to leaving I was overall very happy with their professionalism and sense of urgency. They made me and my pet feel welcomed. The prices were extremely reasonable compared to what I thought I’d have to pay given I brought my reptile in. All in all a solid 10/10

Witnessed mistreatment to my family member during a trying time. My cat nephew was brought to this location due to a change in behavior, lack of physical movement, no appetite for food or drink. The first visit they gave him fluid and sent him home and said the words "he's not dying he can go home". An ultrasound was performed a couple of days later to see if he is in fact "sick". Although blood work showed white blood cells were elevated. My sister told them he has not been drinking or eating since the last time and asked for them to hydrate him via IV. They expressed they would do so if they "deemed it necessary ". I would think an animal not eating or drinking for more than 3 days is NECESSARY. After doing unnecessary testing and milking their checkbook.. all they had to offer was a phone call saying to see an oncologist. Lovely support and remorse from this place... NOT.

We were referred by a Thrive vet to this clinic after our kitten developed a UTI after being "fixed" by DDFL mobile. The antibiotics worked and for that we were grateful and it's definitely a 5 star score. I would give you a 2 star score for scheduling a follow up visit, instead of just asking us to call and trusting our cat knowledge (we have other cats, this one , just stays with our son in college) and then charging us $104 after 4 minutes to look at our kitten , is definitely a reason not to come back. That's taking advantage of a young man for caring about his kitten.

We are confident our dog is in the best of hands with everyone we have met at AAH . When we visit, I notice the staff is in good rapport with each other so there is a welcoming vibe for both our dog and us. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, professional on time and prepared for what we need. I also appreciate their mindful approach to Covid safety for pets and people and their quick response online, by phone and in person. Even my less important questions are received with care and concern - no matter how busy they might be.

Had to rush our dog here after he ingested some mouse poison. We got him there pretty fast, but about 10 min before closing time. They whipped right into action and got him to throw the poison up. He was his normal self through the whole thing and is doing well. I highly recommend this place!

I took my hamster here a month ago and the reason i took her was because her eye was a little swollen and her legs were a little sideways, so when i got there they checked her out and decided to give me eye medication and pain medication for her leg, after 3 days of giving her the medications she started to look worse so i stopped giving it to her and i come to find out the next day she had died. I believe the vet that i had taken her to only had the best intentions but it broke my heart to have found her dead after she was doing so well before. I rate this vet well because they did seem caring and not at all wanting to put any i’ll intent.

Well worth the long drive for exotic pets

I can't say I love Aurora Animal Hospital enough. Staff is amazing from the vets to techs to scheduling staff. I have complete confidence in the treatment my fur babies receive. The vet we use loves our companion animals and they love her. So do I! Do your babies a big favor and take them to AAH.

Dr. Kant was wonderful! She was patient with me and my animal. You could tell she truly loves animals and has a personal investment in their well-being. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed and I felt she made a great plan of action for my animal. All the staff was so kind and welcoming!

Love this vet! They got us in quickly when other vets were completely booked, did a basic exam on my cat and didn't try to get us to pay for unnecessary tests to drive up the cost. The best part is the doctor sends a text and calls to follow up! Great service and they really care about their patients.

Aurora Animal Hospital was great! I was so worried about a lump my dog had on him and they showed compassion for my dog and I. The vet tech also told me upfront what the costs of different serviced would be if we had to go that route. Even though they were a bit busy with appointments, they were very quick and efficient with seeing my dog and doing a thorough examination. We will definitely be coming back and switching to Aurora Animal Hospital as our regular vet!

I cannot say enough good thing about this animal hospital. I was lucky to learn they have Sunday appointments.have appts. We took our St. Bernard in as she was having trouble walking we saw Dr. Strickland who was unbelievable kind and talked us through a not so good diagnosis. We were glad that we were able to walk in with out dog for the appointment and felt that eveyone there really cared about us, our dog and the future. Dr. Strickland did not order unnecessary tests (as we have experienced with other Vets), she seemed to understand that after the Xray and diagnosis that comfort measures were in order and any new labs would not change that course. We are so thankful we found the Aurora Animal Hospital, I have no hesitation recommending them to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed.
