Dirty Dog Grooming Broomfield, Colorado

I've had my dog groomed here multiple times and they always do a wonderful job! I have a golden/ chow mix who sheds like crazy. I get him the full groom and he stops shedding for about 2 weeks! He is also very soft and smells nice :)

The woman who groomed my dog was rude from the beginning. My toy poodle now looks like a shaved rat. He was in there for 45 minutes and clearly the groomer did not care about her work. Please do not take your pets here!

The staff are always so nice. You can tell they love what they do

Staff was friendly and prompt. Was able to get my boy in fast. However, I was specific about shaving certain body parts and my requests were ignored or not relayed to the groomer. Maybe be back in a Pinch

My dog has never smelled as good as he did when he came out of this groomer. I'm randomly hugging him just to smell him. He seemed calm and happy when we picked him up. I think we are going to be happy with this groomer! She deshed him amazingly!

This is Bella’s first time at The Dirty Dog Salon. So glad we found this place. Her regular groomers availability was about 5 months from now. Every groomers I had called weren’t taking in new clients or had availability months from now. The Dirty Dog Salon was able to take Bella in for an appointment the next day when I had called. I highly recommend this place. Everyone is so welcoming and so friendly. After I dropped Bella off, I had such a great feeling knowing that she would be in great hands! She looks fantastic and smells so nice too. Thank you so much Kelly and everyone that we met today at the salon!!!! Bella will be back for her grooming needs for sure. She is so happy and so am I!

We have two huskies and a malamute and they always leave here smelling and looking great.

Extremely friendly and patient staff. Made my super anxious dog feel comfortable and understood she was just stressed and scared. Very patient and caring! Highly recommend!

Good service but pricing is deceptive. They should do a better job at advertising their price. Cost can go as much as double or triple of what they state in their website. Probably not going again.

I took my beautiful golden doodle to the The Dirty Dog. I asked them to cut my dog’s hair as a puppy cut. They shaved my dog without permission and their excuse was that my dog had matting. I brush my dog all the time and he had no matting. They also did this weird cut on his tail without asking me. They took no responsibility for the mistake they made. I told them to correct the tail issue the same day and they said they didn’t have time. They also quoted $75 on the phone for a 60lb dog and without any notice, they charged me $10 extra. Don’t go to the Dirty Dog. They will butcher your dog! I added a photo of my puppy with a proper puppy cut that I got from another groomer back in April. Look at the difference.

I would give zero stars if possible. Since Lee sold this company in December, it has gone completely downhill. I have been going here for 5 years. I booked an appointment 5 weeks ago for my dog to get a cut. Since they don’t have any email confirmations or text alerts about upcoming appointments it can be hard to track the exact day/time it was booked. I wasn’t 100% sure when my appointment was so the week that I knew it was, I called them all morning every ten minutes starting at 7am. No answer. I left a message for them at 7:55 asking if they could confirm my day/time as I did not want to miss my appointment. I Called at 8:00/8:05/8:10/8:15 and still no answer. They finally called me back at 8:21am to tell me my appointment was today at 8 and they only hold it for 15 minutes and I will have to reschedule. By the way, they are 4-6 weeks out. The manager, Lisa threw every excuse at me about being a small business and that’s why they can’t have text alerts/appointment reminders and that they are so overrun with other dog appointments that they can’t make exceptions to the 15 minute appointment hold. Remind you, they finally called me back 6 minutes after the hold time for the appointment and refused to make an exception and groom my dog that day. They have lost a long time client and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Unbelievable. In regards to your response, why didn’t the groomer who was responsible for cutting my dogs hair call earlier than 8:21am? If she expected us there at 8, why didn’t I get a call at 8:10 asking if we were still going to make the appointment? Not at 8:21, six minutes after the 15 minute “hold”. That was convenient. Given your concern for animals safety, I sure hope she isn’t managing multiple dogs washes/haircuts at once because that could be a risk to all of the dogs safety. I was never offered any type of option to get a courtesy call reminder, that must be something you expect your clients to know as an option, my bad. Again, I did everything in my power to avoid missing the appointment but because of your staffing inefficiencies and your receptionist not being there at the open of business you lost a customer. Don’t give me any other canned BS responses, I don’t want to hear them.

I was unable to get into my regular groomer and called The Dirty Dog. They were able to get my dog in within a week and the staff was so super friendly and knowledgeable! Everyone there was so helpful and they were so loving with all the pets that they had there for grooming. I'll be taking my pet here again! Loved this place and highly recommend!

These groomers really care about their clients and make sure the dogs look great and have a good time while being groomed. Great place to take your pup!

Brought my dog in for a nail trim, they were very patient with her and cheaper than the groomers next door. Very reasonable prices. For little dogs and nonreactive dogs, they have their busy days, but for reactive dogs they have days and times where there are no other dogs in the store. The groomers here are all extremely good with handling the dogs, and the other dogs I have seen there all looked reasonably calm with their grooming because of the way they were getting gently handled. Really skilled groomers and I highly recommend. My dog *slowly* got her nails trimmed and there was no pain.

We are very picky clients and they did above and beyond gorgeous on my lil cavachon Milo! He is so cute and ready for summer! Plus their remodeling looks super professional and clean! Great groomers who care about your dog!

I could not say better things about the owner and staff. Took my pup in today to get groomed and even with some confusion I was completely confident my dog was taken care of and she came back so cute!! Reliable, friendly, caring, we will be using them for as long as we live in Broomfield!

I LOVE THE DIRTY DOG!!! Yeti loves the Dirty Dog. They are great with him, do an amazing job, and don't break the bank!

I wouldn’t recommend for cat grooming

Our last groomer told us we couldn’t bring our pup back to see them (they said she was simply too anxious and too elderly). I called Dirty Dog and they couldn’t have been more understanding. I picked our girl up today after a bath and brush and she was so happy and waggy-tailed. Grateful to Lee and her staff for making this such a positive experience for our girl.

We have a cute little cockapoo that we take to get clean and cut. She can get matted and gross sometimes. She also has anxiety going in so she's not the most cooperative dog. I've always enjoyed this place until a few days ago. Because of covid I haven't taken my dog in for a bit. Before I could say that she needed to be shaved this time, one of the staff called her a Carpet, said she looked awful. Very unprofessional and rude. We will be taking her to the Wag N Wash now.

Great place. We've used this location 3-4 times now for our Golden's. They are spot in with their pricing and do a great job of cleaning up our pups. Lovely staff and will go back again time and time again.

This place actually listen to what I wanted done with my hairy Chihuahua! Perfect custom clip, smells great, done in about 2 hours. I'll be back!! Thank you. ( picture is before grooming)

This grooming salon is great! We have used them for our older German Shepherd many times. The staff is very friendly and our dog always comes home looking and smelling fantastic! I highly recommend this salon.

We have a long coated German Shepherd and every time we pick him up he looks beautiful, clean and so fluffy. He’s not easy to handle and they are always willing to take him back. We appreciate them! They are amazing with him and I would refer The Dirty Dog to anyone. We just love them!!! They are so willing to work with all dogs. Love, Sully’s. family

First time having my dog groomed here. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly and took the time to go over the cut, etc. My dog smelled wonderful when I picked him up but I was pretty disappointed in his cut. His cut was choppy especially his face and ears. He’s still a cutie in my book but will be searching for a new groomer.

This place is the BEST!!! My dog has a ton of fur and they always do an amazing job with his grooming! He has a little bit of stranger anxiety, but not with them! They are so kind and helpful and leave your pup with the most beautiful coat! I cannot say enough good things! 10/10 recommend!
