I've never felt like a 3rd class citizen before coming to this veterinarian office... because We adopted a kitten and the appointment was paid for by the shelter, they made us feel like beggars! THIS IS NOT AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL! It is barely a clinic, set up to make money! No care for pets or their owners! I am contacting the shelter to ask that this vet clinic be removed from their list of veterinarians to take new adoptees for their wellness checks!! BEWARE OF THE TALL GRASS CLINIC!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS NOR THEIR OWNERS! Shame on you!

I just finished my appointment with my service dog, Homie, and I wanted to say that the ladies/staff here are so welcoming; so patient; and such wonderful people. A very rude guest, who was out of line, was yelling at them; and I wanted to write this review to say that the staff absolutely did not deserve to be mistreated/treated the way that they were. These ladies are all sweet, kind, patient, welcoming, animal-loving, very hard working people; and the staff here is very dedicated, and very trustworthy. Please treat these ladies with kindness; along with service workers — we are all, only human. Thank you to the staff for your patience/kindness with my dog! My dog, Homie, remembered their kindness from his first appointment — and as an owner of a dog who is scared of the doctors, I can say that the staff here helped Homie feel comfortable; and that made all the difference in the world, for him. This is a very personable animal hospital, which is important as I feel comfortable bringing my dog — who means the world to me (as I said, he is a service animal) — here. Bring your animal here; the staff is amazing. As someone who struggles with mental health/anxiety disorder, the staff helped not only Homie, but me in creating a welcoming, embracing space. I’m grateful to the doctors/staff for the work that they do ????

Very caring and knowledgeable vets and staff. Can talk to vets in person. Facilities very clean. Make appt to get a wellness check up in advance so when you really need a emergency appointment the vets know your pet. Masks required which I appreciate.

The doctors and the staff are all so nice and welcoming. My pup isn't so fond of the vet but he feels very little stress coming here where everyone is so friendly! I really enjoy how the staff is willing to work with limited resources to help a pet parent get the best care for their pet without breaking the bank.

I'm updating my review 4 years later to say that I would continue to give more than 5 stars if possible. Since starting our care at Tall Grass Animal Hospital, our pets have received the most exceptional care. One of our dogs was diagnosed with a chronic illness and required regular visits and medication. Subsequently, we've spent a lot of time interacting with Dr. Fordham and team over the past 4 years. The entire staff is so kind and helpful. Dr. Fordham is so patient and answers hard questions thoughtfully, knowledgeably, and compassionately. I would recommend Tall Grass to anyone who loves and wants the best for their pet! *** We are so very pleased with the care at Tall Grass Animal Hospital! We recently moved to the Denver area and our pups needed immunization updates, check-ups, and teeth cleaning. We are so happy that we found Dr. Fordham! He is patient, kind, thorough, and knowledgable. During our dogs' recent teeth cleanings/minor surgeries, he updated us with texts, pictures, and calls to let us know how everything was going. His follow-up post-surgery has been exceptional and his love for his patients and his profession clearly shows. His clinic prices are very fair and costs for procedures are transparent and detailed. Thank you Dr. Fordham and team at Tall Grass! We feel lucky to have such a great vet for our dogs!

This review is long overdue as you will find no better veterinarian clinic in the Aurora area or beyond. In the last 2 years, we've sadly had to put down our two aging and sick dogs and we're grateful to Tall Grass for walking that journey with us. After leaving a previous vet who showed no care and made us feel unwelcome, we found Tall Grass and the caring demeanor of Dr. Skarie and staff. The care previous to our hospice journey with our two dogs was impeccable. Not only were the recommendations, treatment, and pricing honest and fair, but we simply felt "good" about going to Tall Grass. And our dogs were always happy through the procedures, regular visits, and finally to the end of life care. We'll never forget during COVID having the staff invite myself and our 2 year old son at the time, inside to join my wife who was going to be alone during the process of saying goodbye to our first dog. They offered to watch our son at the front desk while I was able to join my wife in the room to say our farewells. We have been so touched by the cards of care signed by the staff during the losses of our dogs, the beautiful paw prints memorializing our pups, and the kindness. Thank you to Dr. Skarie and all the staff for bringing a human touch to the animal kingdom showing us the same care and love as our dogs did during their lives. We just switched veterinarian doctors from Mission Viejo to tallgrass and boy are we satisfied what a great choice we made fine doctors clean establishment and positive experience very thorough and explained to us everything they were doing with our pets I highly recommend them

I stopped by this place totally distraught over my Dottie Dog she was suffering I think from ingesting poison and I walked in tall grass and they were so compassionate with Me and my dog.Thank you guys for everything you truly are appreciated on how the situation was handled.Thank you

Dr.Scary is the best. We trust them for all our pets and will continue to go to them even if we move far away because other vets do NOT compare. They always are so kind, don't charge for mo reason, and always get as much info as possible to actually solve the problem instead of the first thing they think of. I would recommend this office to anyone, and will always be a loyal customer

First time here. Everyone was very friendly..even the other pet owners. I got the feeling that they genuinely care about your pets. I have had to speak with doctor twice since my appointment and I really appreciative how accessible he was to answer my questions. I thought it was a little pricey, but I am new to the area /state so it might be average pricing.

I tried other 2 vets in the area and none of them seemed to make my old cat comfortable as Tall Grass Vet. I choose them because the entire crew are very friendly animal lovers. Very clean premises and so gentle towards my cat . They also have military discount; wich helps when you have 3 pets.

Incredibly kind and compassionate people work there. They were very kind and patient when my dog Lance passed. I was an absolute wreck but they were so nice. I'll never forget that.

Absolutely amazing experience today at Tall Grass. Everyone from the vet tech to Dr. Skarie were patient, kind, thorough and knowledgeable. I left there feeling absolutely positive that my puppy is in the best hands possible.

I recently adopted a 7 month old puppy, and was on-line looking for Vet close to home and came across Tall Grass. I was really excited when they offered a coupon for free exam within 14 days of adoption. Called to schedule appointment and was told there were not scheduling new patients till the end of September, which is fine, was willing the wait little a bit longer, but was then told if I scheduled the appointment it would be up to the doctor if they would still honor the coupon. Why do you have a coupon on your website that you are not honoring! Waste of time!!

Let me start by saying that if I could give more than 5 stars I would and that we had such an amazing first experience here at Tall Grass that I felt compelled to leave this review. The staff is so friendly, attentive and respectful they immediately put us at ease. We have two not so low maintenance dogs and I cannot express how much we appreciated Dr. Skarie's time and thoroughness. He spent over an hour discussing everything from our dogs history to their current problems and not once during the visit did we feel pressured or as if we were taking up too much time. He asked us questions and provided us honest feedback and knowledge. Just an overall great experience and we left more than reassured that we made the right choice. Thank you Dr. Skarie and staff!

I always have a great experience with Tall Grass however today they were amazing. I dropped Étouffée early in the morning to get spayed. Within 30 min I had a text saying blood work was good and they were giving her anesthetics. At 9am the dr called to tell me she was out of surgery and doing well. Got another text and a picture of her at 11am. Picking her up at 1pm. They knew just what to do to keep this nervous momma calm.

Just absolutely amazing. Caring, affordable, and did I mention caring? I have never had a pet enjoy going to the vet until Tallgrass!

I think we often forget to review the consistent good we receive from customer service and care so here I am. Tall grass and Dr. Fordham are incredible. We moved about 40 minutes away but make the drive every single time to stay with them because of the care and empathy they give. Dr Fordham remembers his clients, he truly has the best interest of our dog front of mind every single time and will always give all options and a best recommendation. It is rare anymore, unfortunately, to find a vet that isn’t in it to make money off their clients but TRULY will always make the best choice for your animal. We would HIGHLY recommend Tall grass to anyone looking for a veterinarian, no matter the distance because if your fur baby is a family member like ours is, finding a vet that cares means the world!
