Brought my Jasper here when we first got him and his brother. Still bring Jasper for anything he need health wise. They are good and work with you with ehat you need.

Sad day when we had to put our fuzzy kitty clover down today. The vet and their staff were so kind and thoughtful, and we appreciate the gentle transition they gave clover. Thank you for your compassion and understanding in helping us all.????

This is a very warm and inviting veterinarian clinic. They treated my free critter Tallulah with kindness and understanding. They listened to my concerns and instead of dismissing them for their preferred opinion they explain to me some other alternatives and why but it felt nice to not have my questions dismissed. Great place

I was only there briefly but they were pleasant

I want to start by saying the staff here was very friendly and I do appreciate that! However, the accuracy we received left my dog in pain and cost us several hundred dollars for this appointment and an emergency appointment that resulted from it. We went in because our 4yo lab was having issues getting up. It started all of a sudden and had been an issue for over a month. We decided to bring her in and have her checked out and it was clear that it was an issue with at least one of her rear legs. They did range of motion tests and readiographs and, a few hundred dollars later, just told us to giver her some pain medication for a week and she should be fine. It turns out, she must have had a partial ACL tear. A month later, we were at the park and all of a sudden she couldn't use her left rear leg. We took her to an emergency room and they told us that she had torn the dog equivalent of an ACL. We told her about the issues she had been having for two months and they said she had likely already messed it up and that it should have been caught during that last visit to Special Friends. As a result of this missed diagnosis, our dog was in pain for an extra month and in much more pain once she wasn't even able to use the leg. I'm very disappointed with the missed diagnosis and will not be returning. According to both of the vets that we've talked to since, Special Friends should have easily been able to diagnose this with the symptoms we told them!

Absolutely love this clinic! Took my dog to have an injured paw examined and the staff was so gentle and patient. Pup is doing great thanks to the antiobotics and direction from the doctor.

Here, the vet techs and doctor are amazing. It didn't take an hour to have ourlt pet seen for an appointment scheduled. They were VERY knowledgeable and prescribed what was needed not anything extra.

Very friendly staff, not very fancy of a place for the prices they charge for dogs on teeth cleaning etc. Heart worm test and shot good for the whole year is a great price once you sign up and get your rebate back.

Despite its unassuming location, SFV has been one of the best vets I've been to in Colorado. They are professional, caring and reasonably priced.

Great animal clinic in Aurora. I appreciate their care and concerns for my doggo. I always leave there knowing what’s expected of me as a pet owner. I also enjoy talking to the employees at the front desk, they’re super friendly.

Everyone was friendly and nice, this was my first time going inside, but I didn't have to wait, and the staff was all very nice to deal with (previously we had to do the drive-up service).

The BEST vet clinic in the Denver/Aurora area! I first came here after I adopted my cat a little over two years ago and decided to bring my other fur babies here as well. Dr. Morgan is an amazing vet and is very passionate about her work. The entire office is warm and friendly, and makes you feel at ease knowing that your fur baby is in good hands. I recommend Special Friends to all of my friends looking for a vet. Will continue to come here.

Special Friends is a special place. They have taken care of so many of my kitties and my dog. Always caring. The vets and the staff, everyone there is so kind and caring. And really concerned about you and your fur babies. I just can't say enough about them. And the grooming staff is just as wonderful. They've taken care of my family for 25 years or so..I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I've never been disappointed in this clinic, the Veterinarian is thoughtful, loving, caring, attentive, very knowledgeable, and the staff is efficient in every area! I didn't realize how thorough they are. They really put the SPECIAL in FRIENDS because with how much they document and how well the Vet remembers her clients, I never feel forgotten.
