Pet Supplies Plus - Arvada Arvada, Colorado

I hate to write a bad review because I love pet supplies plus so much. I take my dog often to other locations and love the dog wash service. I arrived at 5:17 and stand in line to wait for a cashier because there was a long line and only one person at the register. I get to the register and the girl with black hair and a beanie was some rude young girl who said in a rude tone “that’s closed. We don’t do that after 5:30”. I checked and it’s 5:22. My dog has burs all stuck in his hair and I’m far from my house so I ask for a manager. She waits a few minutes then calls for a manager. At which point I hear them talk about the situation and the manager with red hair completely dismissed me as if I’m not three feet away from her. Will not come back to this location. You could have handled this without the attitude and terrible customer service.

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this pet store!! They go above and beyond all expectations I have!! All of the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly!! The store manager, Amanda came out and answered all of my questions and was able to recommend products for my dog and cat!! I highly recommend shopping here!!

I went in to get my senior pup the right type of dog food. They were so helpful and made it easy to select the right food.

The owner/manager (I assume) here is great. He has taken so much time, on multiple occasions, to talk to me about my newly adopted pitty. Such great recommendations that you can tell come from experience. We leave each time with new knowledge, it’s literally like going to the vet! He knows his stuff. And the staff he employs are great too, super helpful and kind. They even gave us a nice discount the first time we went in! PSP definitely has our business for life!

Absolutely love shopping at this store for my furry kiddos. Great selection and always friendly staff.

Everybody that I've run into at the store is very helpful and they want to work there! They also have a discount system if you sign up for what they offer.

Fish Lives Matter Purchased fish here once and was very satisfied. Went back for a few additions and was told by the female csr that SHE didn’t want to sell me any more fish because SHE thinks it was too much fish in my tank. Never going back! Who does she think she is? She didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. Customer lost forever!

I switched to pet Supplies from Petco, not because petco was bad, but the service I get from pet supplies is awesome! Service is very important to me. Prices are great too!

Excellent staff, great selection, and fair pricing.

The whole staff was amazing. Josh was very knowledgeable on Skinny Pigs. All I wanted to do was hold one while my husband shopped. Next thing I know, we're coming home with two skinny pigs. ❤

This store is large, clean and well stocked. The friendly people who work here are knowledgeable and helpful. And the bulk selection of small rodent food is wonderful for those of us who just need a bit of this and a bit of that for our littlest friends. I will definitely be back!

It is ok nothing to brag about but to say it is ok. This is my 1st review. My 2nd review is,, I thought I would go back and give it another try it was better I get crickets for my beardie there. The only thing is they run out of crickets fast. But the people are really friendly.

My go to for my kitties. They have a huge selection of high quality pet food not available in most other stores. And if you're lucky you'll meet their store cat, she's the sweetest ????
