Well Mike Massingill , If she lost your dog it'd probably be a different story wouldn't it!!!! Wish there was something less than a 1 star. For a groomer to loose someone's dog is absolutely sickening and heartbreaking.The poor baby was never found. Never trust these people with your dog.

I HAVE NEVER Seen such a malicious attempt by multiple people, (All of whom know each other and have collaborated their efforts on Google) try to discredit and defame a woman that has nothing short of a FANTASTIC GROOMING BUSINESS!!! Quite honestly, it is nothing other than a display of hatefulness, retaliation and outright lies for a matter that could not have been prevented . ALL of the negative reviews concerning this "Missing" dog ARE FAKE! The owner of said dog failed to notify Ms. Paterson that the dog was prone to leap and flee and this hardly constitutes Ms. Paterson "Losing" the dog. Not only was Ms. Paterson never notified of the, dogs behavior, the owner of the dog conveniently fails to mention that Ms. Paterson has TWO 5 Foot GATES in her shop that the dog was able traverse and quite rapidly. Had the owner been responsible enough to notify Ms. Paterson of its behavior, certainly more precautions would have been taken to prevent this incident from happening. THIS IS CALLED NEGLIGENCE on the part of the DOG OWNER! The dog was not "Lost," it fled. To the contrary, my dogs of 13 years have not only been groomed, cared for and boarded by Ms. Paterson, she has adopted them as her own!! While I travel 3 weeks out of every month, both my dogs are left in the care of Ms. Paterson. I have 24 hour video access to my dogs at any time I choose. My dogs are well kept, groomed and cared for on a daily basis. Ms. Paterson puts her heart and soul into caring for every dog she grooms and boards because she is certainly not in it for the money. LOVE, AFFECTION & the utmost ATTENTION are given to every animal that is left in her care. Attempting to chase a fleeing dog, as we all know, is next to impossible. Ms. Paterson is the "One in a million" of Pet Stylists" and I have never found anyone like her in the 13 years of owning my two dogs. It is sick, twisted and disgusting that these people would be permitted to post such things in a public forum, but then we all know this is the day and age of social media!

This is the first time we brought our baby in and she took care of him so well! We will be returning with our other boy real soon❤️

They lost a customer's dog and everyone in the neighborhood has been on alert looking ???? I was wondering why the groomers haven't post anything about it when it first happened at least I haven't seen anything like I've seen everyone else posting.Sad for the owner to be grieving the lost of their dog????

Exceptional care and grooming. She can work miracles on even the most unkempt dogs. She also sent home 2 cute photos of our dogs spa day. We have found our groomer.

Paws Above The Rest is paws down a truly wonderful, friendly, caring and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious place to take your dog of any size! Sharon and her team are so friendly and insightful! Not only did they treat my two pups Irish & Diogi with the same love as she would her own animals , I left there having learned a few things. I really appreciated how Sharon gave me the 101 on dog grooming. I’m a first time Mommy to pups of my own and taking care of a dog is just like taking care of your child! I only went in to have Irish’s anal glands expressed because I noticed his butt was enlarged. Diogi was being extremely vocal so Sharon thought we might as well bring him on back too since he wanted whatever his brother was getting as well. I think he was highly mistaken when he had his turn. They left there looking and smelling like handsome little studs that they are!! I really enjoyed that Paws Above The Rest also offers CBD treats for animals like Diogi who have anxiety along with aromatherapy!! So Paws down... a great place for your dog to get groomed!! Thank you ladies for treating and pampering us!

Sharon is wonderful! She takes time to make our furbabies feel comfortable and loved.

My pup was sprayed by a skunk last night and she did an amazing job washing him ! It took multiple washes but she did ! I was turned away by other places and she didn’t hesitate to take my poor smelly boy !!

Sharon was so helpful to our little angel! She took such great care of her. So great to see people still caring for the animal and the experience they have!

Paws Above the Rest speaks for itself, it is the best grooming experience Lexi and I have ever had. Sharon has a gift with pets, she connected with my dog Lexi immediately. Lexi does not like to be groomed but when she was with Sharon she knew she was there to be pampered. Lexi had a facial, her teeth check, nails done, the works. Not only is she snowy white and has the best cut ever and a lovely scent of lavender on her. My friends and family can't stop talking about how adorable Lexi looks. Sharon is very informative, offers quality service and goes above and beyond. I finally found a groomer that I trust and I don't have to worry, extremely impressed! Sharon worked around my schedule which made my life easier. Thank you so much for the one on one service with my dog.

Ok, I made an appointment for my bullshit (bulldog/shih tzu mix) for a bath, haircut, nail trimming, etc. I called Sharon on a Friday and she booked me for the next day and told me it was $45 and that there was a yelp deal that I can purchase online and it would be $10 off, so I did. She emailed me some documents to go over and what not but I didn't print them out because I didn't have a printer at home. Next day, I walk my dog in for his his appointment. first thing I notice is that the shop smells like cigarette smoke. EWWWW this isn't a bar!!!!. So, I tell her how I want my dog's hair cut, nothing complicated, just shave the body and leave his head fluffy. She said she understands, and I leave my poor baby behind. About an hour and a half later, Sharon called and told me that there were some complications and that my dog wont let her trim his feet. I told her it's fine and she doesn't have to if my dog wont let her. So also told me that my dog has a couple of flees and I told her I know I haven't gotten a chance to put his flee medication on for him yet. End of that conversation. About an hour later, she called me to go ahead and pick up my dog and he's all finished. I pick him up, he seems tense, but I just figure that he's a little stressed because he was in a new environment. His haircut was blah. She somehow made him look like Yoda from Star Wars (he usually looks like a Grimmlin). I was in a rush so I didn't have a chance to examine him while I was there. Suddenly, she said I owe her $22. What? I had already purchased the $35 deal on yelp so I shouldn't owe her anything. She said that she gave my dog a flee treatment, which I NEVER asked her to do. BUT, being my passive self, I just shrug it off and pay her. I bring my dog home, and my husband starts playing with him, he noticed that there was blood coming from somewhere. We looked and we could see that he was cut in 4 different places.. FOUR. OMFG. There was a cut on one of his nipples, one on his left ear, one on one of his testicles, and one on his paw. He was bleeding pretty hard from his paw and I noticed that were was blood all on the backseat of my car from the ride back. I WAS FURIOUS. WHAT KIND OF GROOMING SERVICE IS THIS?!!?!??!?! Do you not know how to groom a dog? That phone call about that "complication" was about you cutting your buzzer into my dog? No wonder why he wont let you touch his paws! He's been groomed dozens of times before and different places and NEVER had this happen. Sharon didn't even have a guts to tell me that she cut him.. FOUR TIMES. My poor baby, I felt TERRIBLE that I put my dog through this experience. DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF THESE GOOD REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY'RE PROBABLY ALL FAKE. I should have listened to all the bad ones because they were all on point.
