Never take my pet there again.

My only problem that I really had was that they gave my dog medication without consulting you first and then turned around and charged me for it. I mean what if I didn't have the money for that what were they going to do with my dog? Before you give anyone's animal anything you should consult with them first, especially if you're going to charge them for it.

Disclaimer : 4.5 because it is very pricey. Dr Mendell basically brought my cat back to life! My Maggie had a severe vitamin deficiency that had caused her brain lesions. Dr. Mendel listened to what I had to say and didn't disregard me. She was able to turn around pretty quickly and now Maggs is more lively than she has ever been! I would recommend Dr Mendel and Jefferson Park Veterinary to anybody!!

This place is horrible. Way expensive, takes forever to get a prescription refilled. Takes forever to get a apt. They never answer their phone and don’t call you back. Plus they make you stay outside. Would not recommend this place at all.

Very friendly staff and really helpful with explaining everything in a way that made sense. If I chose to, I could pick what I wanted to have done at the time and felt good knowing what was needed later. Reasonably priced and within the budget range for what I had then do. Be sure to consider them for all your veterinary needs.

The staff take care of our little puppy poppy like she was their very own puppy.

They lost my dogs medical records for the la say two years. Then told me i must have changed my name, or the $150 i spent September of 2020 was for heart worm not for actual vet services. When it most definitely was because my dog was sick.

I never write reviews but this place is way overpriced!!! the meds are marked 5 X's over and everything is super expensive here. I took my puppy in for a skin rash, and was charged well over 700 bucks. I've had three dogs over the past 20 years and never, never have I've been to place that rakes you over the coals with the bill! terrible VET, she charges for the air once you walk in!

JeffPark takes awhile, most likely a result of lockdown, and a bit pricey but Dr. M is the best and you get what you pay for. Bailey was one of her first patients 9 and a half years ago, just six months old and could fit in the palm of your hand. She wouldn't be here now without her. Saved her bacon more than once since. I'd go as far as to say with Dr. M you get several vets in one, with her extensive degrees and training. Love our chats. Staff is great as well. The best for your furry companion.

My first appointment was on a Tuesday for my dog with a growth on his leg. Dr. Mandel found it to be melanoma and called me after hours to give me the news. This was on a Friday. On Saturday (her time off) she arranged to have him seen by a visiting specialist on the following Friday because of a heart condition my dog has and will need to be addressed before the growth can be removed. She also fit me in to her practice for tests to make sure the cancer has not traveled. Dr. Mandel truly cares and wants to give the best possible care for your pet. I truly can't thank her enough!! My doggie has a much better chance of getting through this because of her!! Her staff is great also!

They've been very helpful in taking care of my menagerie of cats and working with my manic work & single-mom schedule.

I like the people here but it shouldn't take 2+ hours to examine a dog. He wasn't traumatized and that's a good thing but I left 3 hours between that appointment and another one and almost didn't make the second appointment. I also think a pet owner HAS to be allowed in despite COVID, for a first visit.

They were professional and very nice to talk with. They were upfront and explained what needed to be done. I would have liked to go inside, but Covid is happening so they have to remain safe when seeing our animals. Very Nice staff.

One of the Technicians is kind of a meany

Excellent vet and staff. I always choose a vet just based where I live (I never do any research) so I am really lucky to have found this place. I’ve lived in 4 different cities since getting this cat, so I’ve been to 4 different vets. This one is by far the best. This vet is really good with my difficult and grumpy cat, and you can tell she really actually cares. Her staff is wonderful too. I feel grateful to have found them, and if I move again, I will continue to come here.

Fast service great with my dog!

The vet said my dog needed $ 2000 worth of tests for a swollen face. Got a second opinion on this from my regular vet in Rio Linda. Only cost me $ 40 for antibiotics. Seedling gone the next day.

Great staff, took great care of our cat. Even sent us home with a free ice pack in the cat carrier, because it was a very hot day.

In my opinion they overcharge their customers by adding a fee for waste material for one needle. Charge the fee per per. Ridiculous.

I am so greatful for everything Dr. Mandel and staff has done for my family. Many thanks to all of you for being so caring and loving with my kitty cat Half Note.

I brought my Milo here after having a terrible experience at Midtown Vet. Everyone here at Jefferson Park Vet was incredible. Sadly Milo had cancer and there was nothing to do at that stage. I had to say goodbye to him last week. I am grateful for the entire staff and will return here if i get another fur baby.....

I called the facility to schedule an appointment. She was very understanding and answered many of my questions. She had great customer service. The condition of the animal was extremely better in two days and cured within three. I was able to call and cancel the appointment with no push back or fees. Highly recommend and appreciated.

Just love Dr. Mandell and her staff. Wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else.
