One of the best vet clinics I've encountered. Everyone is kind and so helpful and understanding. I'm not made of money but I'd rather spend it on my sweetie here than somewhere else, at least here I know they care and that she's in good hands.

Dr. Revel is terrible at customer service.....the entire business model of this supposed animal caretaker is to price gouge and fail to render promised services. She does not care about the well being of the animals - she sees them as products she can upsell at every turn.

This place is awful. You constantly consult with a staff, who are mostly under qualified and commonly demonstrate poor communication skills. Often, we would face unnecessary wait times just to pick up flea medication. The staff shows no real effort in prioritizing the customer, and constantly you’re paying inflated costs. There’s zero convenience to this location. Go someplace else where the team can remember your pets name and charge you a normal rate.

My 10 month old husky puppy has been going here since he was a wee lad and he’s always been so well taken care of. Really wonderful staff and group of doctors. Highly recommend.

Dr. Revel and her team at West Hollywood Animal Hospital are truly the best in veterinary care. I have been taking my dog Penelope to different vets for years trying to figure out a bladder issue. Every vet I took Penelope to dismissed my concerns. Finally, when I came to West Hollywood Animal Hospital I found a doctor that actually listened to my concerns and took the time to properly examine Penelope. Dr. Revel ended up finding SEVEN bladder stones in Penelope which required emergency surgery. Dr. Revel and her team were available at 8:00am on a Sunday to treat Penelope. Dr. Revel truly saved Penelope’s life. Dr. Revel and her team are incredibly professional, kind and accommodating. I can’t thank them enough for the care that they gave Penelope. Thank you so, so much Dr. Revel and everyone at West Hollywood Animal Hospital.

Awesome friendly staff and techs. Dr Revel was great with our pup and he was also really happy when we got him back. The Doc was really friendly, patient and informative about any issues and questions we had. They even trimmed his nails for free : )

We have taken our sweet and goofy Pitbull son, Catire, to the West Hollywood Animal Hospital for almost 3 years. From day one the service on all levels has been exemplary. The staff is professional, friendly, and 100% dependable with the safety of our canine companion. This location is not only where we have all veterinary check ups but a safe and fun setting for Catire to be in daycare. The team at WHAM has been phenomenal as well during the Covid-19 crisis. Thank you as always

In these weird times, hugely responsive, communicative and adhering to current social distancing guidelines. As a new client, based on the above, cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you!

Great staff that care about your pets well being and overall experience. Been going here for over 10 years now and definitely recommend over a VCA hospital hands down. Love this place

Love this vet! I have been bringing my dog to Dr. Ravel for 7+ years and I can not recommend her highly enough! She and her practice are wonderful. The way she practices medicine is both pragmatic and thoughtful. I appreciate her approach and how she gives a range of treatment options from least to most expensive/invasive (my words). This is a vet that puts pets and people before profits. 5 stars.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was so outraged by my experience with West Hollywood Animal Hospital that I feel compelled to share. My partner and I aren't animal people - we're both extremely busy and don't have the time to give an animal the attention it deserves. However, five days ago a very sweet little tabby cat appeared in our front yard, sitting calmly right outside the door. We assumed she belonged to a neighbor. We asked around, and no one knew who she belonged to - one neighbor said he'd seen her eating fish out of his pond, and he assumed she was a stray or a runaway. We began feeding her, and just like that she assumed we were her new "people," to the point that she began residing exclusively in our yard. Eventually, I noticed she was having trouble eating, perhaps due to an infected tooth, and that one of her eyes was a little bit swollen. I called West Hollywood Animal Hospital and made an appointment for the next day, not wanting to leave a sick animal outside in our yard. Cut to the next morning - the cat (who we named Lana... she appeared the day Lana Del Rey dropped an album), would NOT get in the carrier we bought for her. She scratched, she screamed, she ran... it was not pretty. I've never had a cat, and was dumbfounded at the amount of strength she was able to exhibit resisting entering that crate. I felt like a terrible human forcing her into that little box, but I finally managed to do it. Because of this ordeal, we arrived at WeHo Animal Hospital at 11:43am, for an 11:30 appointment. This is when I was told that they have a ten minute grace period, and that they wouldn't be able to honor our appointment. I was dumbfounded - I explained that I'd never had a cat before, and had just spent the last hour trying to get this terrified and presumably stray animal into a carrier. I told them I couldn't have it on my conscience to leave a potentially sick animal outside a day longer, and that I also wanted to see if she was microchipped and belonged to anybody. They flat out refused. I even begged the receptionist to go and speak with the veterinarian, explaining the situation. She did, and when she came back, she said "the vet says that wouldn't be fair to our other patients. I can recommend a walk-in clinic, but they're really expensive." (Great???) I told them I thought this was ridiculous, all because of THREE MINUTES. The receptionist said "what's ridiculous? - our policy, which is the reason we have good reviews on Yelp, or the fact that you were late for your appointment?" Unnecessary, and kudos to you for trying to shame someone rescuing a stray animal. I then had to walk several blocks in a busy city with a petrified cat, looking for a walk in clinic... and they weren't able to see me either (although they were very apologetic, and were outraged when I told them about what happened at WeHo Animal Hospital). Shame on you, West Hollywood Animal Hospital. As an institution that exists to care for sick and wounded animals, I believe what you did is unethical. I traumatized this sweet little creature for no reason, and had to take her back to our house without being seen. We are supposed to go out of town next week, and because both my partner and I work during the week, this was the only time we had to get her checked out. We are now scrambling to find an after hours vet or a mobile service, all because of *three minutes*. Now that I know this place clearly doesn't care about the well-being of the animals they treat, I will avoid them like the plague should we ever adopt a pet.

Dog has been coming here for a few years. Dog needed her flea meds reception said she would have to have a check up fee first?? For flea meds?? I called another vet that my dog hasn't been to in a long time and they asked her weight and gave us the script. That's WEHO in a nutshell.

I really loved this place. I went to visit and try to be volunteer, but I had to make a one day training to be volunteer, and I couldn't do it because I'm going to stay few days. But I understood that's for the safety or the animals, and I'm okay with that procedure. Maybe another time! ????❤

This is more than an animal hospital; this is ground zero for all the good boys and good girls around West LA. I can't overstate how caring and involved the staff are. It kind of took me off guard how attentive they were about learning about us and our new pup. They host puppy play time on Saturday mornings to help socialize their clientele that have been wonderful. I swear I've met more people there than in my years in the city up to this point. So yeah, go here. 100/100

Professional, patient and well-mannered doctors and very friendly and caring staff. Never a long wait with an preschefuled appointment. I've visited quite a few LA-area vets over the past nine years and this is the best I've seen by far. Not quite sure how they manage to keep up the high standards. It's almost too good to be true! Thank you for getting it right. WH-AH should serve as a model for all the others.

I have canceled my cat's upcoming dental surgery and will not be returning. I was told earlier this year following a required pre-surgery blood test that his platelets were low. I was told it could have been a lab error. I was told to wait and bring him back for retesting. I came in for retesting this past month and they told me I needed to do another complete blood panel (CBC/chem). I said no and asked for just the retesting of the platelets. The platelets came back normal. I booked the dental surgery. I was charged a $100 deposit. I received a call from the vet the same day saying I needed to do another complete blood panel. I again said no and reminded him that the expensive test was already done in March. I had a bad feeling about the upcoming surgery costs and asked them to verify my original estimate from earlier this year. They increased the dental work by $150 and added back in the complete blood panel that I had already declined twice (and was completed in March). I canceled the surgery and requested my $100 deposit to be refunded. I have had animals my whole life in four different cities and have never had questionable billing/testing issues like I have had the past seven months at WHAH. And for what it's worth, the vet who examined my cat at WHAH purchases her cats instead of adopting.

The staff here is knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They are great with animals. I always come away with useful information. They are also excellent with the people who bring the animals in. They are kind and understanding. It makes such a big difference. It's not easy to deal with a sick or dying companion. They know that and are very comforting.
