I’m convinced my puppy keeps making himself sick in order to keep coming back to the VCA and visiting his friends here. He absolutely LOVES the vet, Dr Tigler, and the incredible staff at VCA TLC. Forgets who I am and runs to them. Slater has eaten a bee (twice), gotten round worm, was mysteriously vomiting for a bit, and grew a lump out of nowhere, and every time the staff at VCA was kind, welcoming and so helpful. I have the upmost trust and appreciation for them taking good care of Slater and helping me as a first time pet parent. Bring you pups and kittens here! You won’t regret it. Although your animals may soon love them more than you.

I made an appt over the phone for annual checkup, vaccines and pregnancy ultrasound. After check in when vet called to ask health questions, I was told they did NOT do ultrasounds! That their front desk people were "new" and didn't know. Then was told had to be done by internist and it would cost $750!!!!Are they kidding?! Then returned dog without checkup. Had to insist they take dog back inside and do blood work, fecal and urine. This is the 3rd time they have screwed up. And given the prices they charge for non covered items has convinced me to stop my VCA Care plan for my 2 adult dogs, and return to my old vet, Rose City, even though farther away. They don't charge an outrageous for a simple ultrasound.

Dr Feldman is a brilliant diagnostician! He saved my personal dog Judy's life after several other doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong. He also saved our rescued dog Layla's life and caught a crazy one in a million problem.

I had brought my almost 10 year old cat here when it became obvious to me that something was wrong with him. It was after their normal working hours (on a Friday night) but i found that their after hours staff was very competent and that the facility was well staffed even when the facility was closed except for emergency services. After examining my cat the veterinarian took the time to explain to me how cats are pre disposed to kidney issues and it appeared that my cats kidney's were failing. He explained that it might be possible for my cat to continue to lead a normal life with just having to take a pill each day. He explained that they could not determine if that would be a viable option for my cat without conducting more tests over a period of a few days and that those tests were not cheap and may not be an affordable option for everyone. If that was the case, having the cat put to sleep so he would no longer suffer was the other most humane option. He made it clear that if I chose to have further testing done, that in no way implied that meant at the end of the testing that we would not have to have the cat put to sleep anyway. He wanted to ensure that I understood that choosing to spend more money was not a garuntee that the cat would be fine. I chose to spend the money and have the further testing done. Unfortunately at the end of the few days off testing it was determined that my cats kidney condition would not benefit from taking medication and we had to have him put to sleep. I greatly appreciated the veterinarians honesty, compassion and the time he took to ensure I understood what they were doing and what my options were at every point in this process. I was able to visit with my cat in private one last time before he was put to sleep and all of the staff showed great compassion during this very painful time. A few weeks later I received a beautiful hand written card in the mail that was signed by the staff members who had attended to my cat while he was there expressing their sorrow for my loss yet also commending me for making the humane choice yet hard choice to have my cat put to sleep. It was a wonderful and perfect gesture from the staff that showed a level of compassion and caring that you just don't see that often these days.

I was surprised that some pill pockets I bought there were $11, where they're $3 almost everywhere else; you're paying for convenience, I guess. More important, there are issues with the front desk, where hold times on the phone can be as long as 20+ minutes, if you bother to hold that long, but I do believe they're trying their best. I think the desk staff can be a bit indulgent with clients whom they're serving in-person, spending lots of time addressing some clients' seemingly endless questions, answers for which are available when talking with the veterinarians in-person during appointments, and/or actually reading documentation they've already been provided (e.g., itemized invoices). See for yourself when you're there: some clients are embarrassingly pushy and high-maintenance, and it affects the way things unfold at the front desk, with appointments beginning (very) late, paperwork (e.g., insurance-related documentation requests) going unprocessed and requiring multiple requests, and those calls being placed on hold for very long wait times. All that said, the veterinarians know what they're doing.

I brought my cat because she was very sick. I mentioned her sister's name during the consultation. This vet was so mean he made fun of her name saying it was a boys name. Everybody else loves her name but Dr Feldman. Cant believe he works at all let alone in West Hollywood.
