Wonderful experience! My Big Ben is deaf and can get nervous around new dogs and people but he absolutely loved coming here. He was pampered and spoiled the entire time!

I booked an online appointment a week in advance for my little pup. I was so excited for his first trip to the grooming salon. The day of his scheduled appointment arrived and I received both a text and an email telling me his appointment was cancelled with no explanation. I tried calling when the grooming salon opened and was not able to get through. I figured to try to go in as a walk in. Walked into the salon and was greeted by the owner. And explained to him how I had an appointment and it was cancelled. He apologized because they were booked up with it being the day before Thanksgiving. I wish they could have clarified that in the reason for cancelling my appointment and that is the reason I took one star off. Overall the owner still took in my pup and groomed him. When I picked him up he looked and smelled so good. Can't recommend this place enough.

I was recommended by friends who raved about this place. I decided to bring my dog Teddy there. the place was clean and looked really nice. My groomer Lesly was warm and welcoming, I trusted her judgment on what cut would look best on him. He came out looking like a teddy bear !! He never looked so good and calm after grooming

I found out about this place on TV and I was hooked! Initially I was nervous to take my baby to the groomer for the first time as she has separation anxieties, but the staff’s energy and how amazing they were with Lola during check in put me at ease! When I picked her up - I literally cried when I saw my baby!! She had never looked so adorable and was so relaxed! I will never go to another groomer - they are hands down the BEST IN TOWN! Thank you again Dogue team!!

I drove 3 and 1/2 hrs to take my dog to Dogue Spa. It is a great place with lots of nice dogs. When I picked up my dog is smelled lile he just got back from France with a special colonge on. He was very soft and dreamy. Your dog will love it here. 5 STARS.

Dogue Spa has been by far the best experience we've ever had at a grooming salon. After trying all other grooming spots in LA, literally... Dogue Spa is The One. Our poodle Pierre gets his fur matted at times, even after brushing at home. We like to keep his length and some salons we've taken him to, besides suggesting a shave down would down right ignore our requests or not even offer alternatives. After stumbling upon Dogue Spa's article on L.A. Times and seeing their Instagram feed, we HAD to give it a go. Online booking is made very easy and they are super responsive. After dropping Pierre off, everybody was very friendly and it smelled actually good there!! During check in, we were asked many questions as to what look we were interested in, they really know their craft. Their approach was very individualized to cater to our dog's needs, it felt good! Once we picked him up, Pierre was in the gated area playing with other dogs. Another huge perk at Dogue, they offer a cage free environment, which is a relief to know my dog isn't crated for hours. If I could give the cut and experience 10/10, I would! Hands down, this was the best he's ever received. The whole experience gave me a brand new outlook on what all dog grooming salon standards should live up to. We can't recommend this place enough, THANK YOU Dogue Spa!

Jaye and the Dogue staff did an awesome job with my senior guy, Jack. He’s a 10 year old rescue dog (mini poodle mix) that I’ve had for six years. This was our first visit to Dogue and I’d love to take him back in the future. This was the first time Jack was not barking at me when I picked him up from the groomer’s. He was super calm and was not sprinting out the door like he has tried to do at other grooming spots. He’s an anxious guy in new environments but Jaye told me that he was very social with the staff. Regarding the cut and color….Jaye nailed it! She spent time at check in asking for my requests and provided her professional opinion since Jack’s fur was still somewhat short compared to other poodles. My request was to keep the mohawk and have the ears short/ not fluffy. Also asked if she could do some type of blue/green coloring. My senior guy is back to his manly poodle self and loving the attention from people that pass by! Thank you Jaye and Dogue Spa for treating Jack like a King!

So I didn’t want to leave a review because my experience wasn’t so great, but my family and friends just won’t let me sleep about it. I brought my 1 year old mini golden doodle in for coloring and grooming but when I got there I was told he couldn’t get colored even though before setting the appointment, I called and text to see how much it cost and to get a run down, but was told to just come on in and we will figure it out there. I arrived and everyone was so nice and I loved the energy. About 4 hours later I get a call saying my dogs tongue had been cut during trimming, but not to worry they spoke with a vet and he should be fine. I do appreciate them calling, but I don’t like that I was basically told it was my dogs fault because he was moving, which usually dogs do. I felt groomers should be better prepared for these situations. It was really hard to believe this happened because he has been getting groomed since he was about 3 or 4 months, and never have I heard a groomer say he did bad or didn’t like the service. I just decided to try out this new spot to give him a more luxury experience. When I picked him up his tongue was still bleeding pretty bad. They offered a 20% discount but seriously I would’ve expected them to own up to what happened and take accountability of the situation because he is a small dog that is trained and does listen to orders. I seriously wonder what would’ve been the outcome if this happened to the owners dog, who I’m sure also loves taking pictures of his baby. Accidents do happen so I didn’t want to leave this review, but like I said my family and friends as well as myself are so in love with my baby they just wouldn’t let me sleep about it, and I realize that this entire situation was wrong. He was excited to see me when I picked him up, but I kid you not, for at least a couple of days he was stand-offish to me and didn’t want to leave the house whatsoever. My intent of this review is to just leave my honest feedback for others, but also to help the shop do better in the future. A simple phone calls a couple days of the accident to see if everything is ok would’ve also been a nice gesture.

My dog Kenzie is a very unique breed. A puli can be tough to groom properly. Josh has been grooming her for almost as long as he’s been open. He always does on amazing job! I love sharing the praises of Dogue!

Dogue is such an amazing grooming experience for the pup as well as the owner. Josh and his whole team are extremely talented, helpful and patient. As many people did, I rescued a dog during quarantine and she now has separation anxiety from me. We are working on it and Josh and the whole Dogue staff are so understanding and sweet and patient. I couldn’t recommend a better grooming experience in Los Angeles, and I won’t be going anywhere else. ???? thank you guys and see you soon!

I had been taking my two little Shih Tzus to another groomer for almost 10 years, but it was time for a change as my pups were no longer happy going there. Did a lot of research of groomers in my area and Dogue Spa had great reviews, so decided to give them a try. Hands down, the most beautiful grooming they’ve ever received from Alyssa! Words can't express the gratitude I have for the amazingly talented team at Dogue Spa. I serendipitously met the co-owner, Josh, while walking my dog a few years ago. He was amazingly kind to my new rescue on that first meeting and I've been a faithful customer ever since. Josh is the only groomer with whom I'd trust my furbaby. He's a dog whisperer and artist when it comes to styling. Almost every day I get a comment on how amazing Apollo's hair looks. Many thanks to Josh and his salon for their amazing work. They are great. They tend to my dogs special needs and are very gentle with him. They are great with communication and very timely.

I give Josh & his crew 5 stars. But if I could, I'd give thousands. First off, the store itself is clean and neat. Everyone who works there is warm and inviting. I took my little guy in, he's my first and only dog thus far. Dropping him off with groomers was like a mother dropping off their newborn to daycare for the first time. Josh made me feel reassured and Rocky loves him more than me now. He's so good with your dog, your dog might leave you for him. I don't go anywhere else now. They always take great care of him while he's at their premises. I couldn't be any happier. It's hard to find people to trust and leave your little furry son/daughter. I bring him here with no second thought. I recommend this place to everyone!
