05.08.2021 We had a wonderful experience today with Josh and Julie from CC Protection Dogs. Josh introduced our daughter to her new college roommate, Falco. Josh patiently and professionally spent the time needed to transition Falco into our family. We left feeling confident in our decision choosing CC Protection Dogs and Falco. We followed the instructions Josh had given us. It was truly amazing. We sat back and were in awe watching Falco and our nineteen year old daughter bond. I have had dogs all my life but this Belgian Malinois puppy is by far the smartest dog I have ever seen. Strong, fast already and super focused on learning what you want from her. Perry was great, I have always had some kind of shepherd, from now on we will only get them here. We are beyond thrilled.

We have been getting our dogs from CCK9 for the past 15 years. Perry changed our understanding of how a dog should be trained and how I should be working with the dogs. We have always had the best experience with Perry and we now have our 4th dog from him. Our first dog protected me from 2 different attackers. The others have protected my wife from aggressive people coming at her. It is amazing what these dogs can do you wont believe it untill you see it. Perry is very welcoming to us at all times.

This place sounds amazing just what’s the cost for one dog?

I wanted a working breed to compete in skijor and canicross. When I settled on a Malinois, I chose Perry’s kennel because of high standard of breeding he upholds for his dogs. My Xola is incredibly smart and level headed. For a Malinois she’s also very calm when I ask her to be; from day one as a 10 week old puppy I was able to take her to restaurants and she would just calmly lay at my feet. I especially chose Perry because of the training they do with even the youngest pups. Xola came to me knowing how to sit and how to watch her handler for eye contact. I even took her to an assessment at 11 weeks for bite competition and the trainer there was impressed how at such a young age she silently went for the target and held on even through all the mondio distractions ie cans and steamers. While we haven’t done protection work training, Xo has already proven as a young pup to be very protective. While she loves people and has never been aggressive towards people we meet on walks, there have been two occasions where I (a small female) have been put walking with Xo when we’ve been approached by men giving unwanted attention. Without any sort of prompting, she’s picked up on my uneasiness and immediately switched into guard mode where she either sits or lays up against me leg and doesn’t let the unwanted person out of her sight - even going as far as to bark at them if they approach too close. Again she hasn’t had any protection training past what Perry did with her between 3-8 weeks, but at 3 months old, I already feel safer jogging with her by my side. This only comes from someone who knows how to properly breed dogs for appropriate temperament and focus. If you’re looking for a family dog with high energy (don’t get me wrong, she’s still a Malinois and requires diligent daily structure), chose Perry and the Command Control team. Their puppies are truly a class above the rest.

These dogs are awesome my 1 year old great grand daughter would lay on the floor and use the dog for a pillow yet at the same time on command he would gently get up to protect his little girl. It’s all about trust The fun part was when the 4 year old took him out for a walk People just stared some asked where he came from

I researched many other protection dog providers, in doing so I found many protection dog providers purchase their dogs from others starting their training and relationships with these dogs later on in their lives. I chose Perry at CCPD because he raises his dogs from birth. The early relationship with the trainer and dog is key to me. CCPD provides years of experience, love and respect for their dogs that go back through multiple generations of breeding. Perry personally arrived with my dog, perfectly trained, responsive, and a well bred. It was equally important to me that the dog would integrate well into my family and life and she has! His recommendation was a perfect match for both my family and the dog. Abby’s is responsive, loving, well trained healthy, obedient dog and very eager to please. It did not take Abby long to adjust to her new surroundings. She stays by my side engaging in daily activities and is ready to protect me and my family at all times. Perry has reached out to me several times to check on mine and Abby’s training. He has made himself accessible to me whenever I have had questions and has been very responsive offering any guidance needed. I highly recommend CCPD!

It has been exactly 30 days since we have received our dog from Perry and his team; however, we planned, researched, and waited patiently for our “trained young dog” for over a year and we couldn’t be more than pleased. Prior to receiving our dog, I researched companies and this breed for months as we have never had a Belgian Malinois. I’ll admit I was a little skeptic and hesitant, especially wiring money twice and even up until the point I finally got to meet Perry and our dog personally. Perry and his team have always been so responsive, informative; sending pictures and progress notes and videos ever since our dog was born. The weeks leading up to our “delivery date”, I had many questions and Perry was very patient. We literally flew and then drove across the country during a pandemic for four days to get back to California and our first two weeks were a “dynamic” adventure to say the least! The level of intelligence, training, and devotion this dog had (thanks to his training with CCProtectionDogs) instantly to my family and I was truly amazing.. He acted basically like a well trained service dog across the country and we literally had no issue in the numerous hotels we stayed at along the way. He crated well and endured the 8-10hr travel days like a pro. Overall, these past 30 days have been an adventure and we are so thrilled and wouldn’t trade him for the world. Sure, we may have lost some random kids toys here and there that perhaps got chewed up and he may have tried to eat wild donkey poop in 1.5 Milliseconds, but overall he is so incredibly intelligent, willing to work, and we love building on his training weekly with new commands and new challenges. We invested in a nationally certified professional dog trainer right now who comes to our home weekly right now to work with us and “our” handling and she is so impressed with him! She exclaimed he is so quickly graduating steps in her “program” and she loves how quickly he learns and responds. His list of understood words and commands has doubled in the past thirty days and we can’t wait to keep training him. Seeing my elementary aged kids become more confident in handling the dog has been such a fun family experience too. Overall, we are so thankful to Perry and will forever consider him to be “family” thanks to his team, his training & our dog. **Do not get this breed if you aren’t willing to put in work or be active. We found Perry when looking for a protection dog for our family. We have young children and were very concerned about prior training and temperament when bringing a new, large, protection dog into our house. We spent considerable time figuring out the right solution and consider ourselves very lucky to have found Command Control Protection Dogs and our new German Shepherd. From the first time we spoke to Perry, we knew that we had found the right person. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and has an 18-year track record of breeding/training exceptional dogs. Unlike other breeders/trainers, all of his dogs are personally trained and raised by him and there is no hard sales push. He has been consistently very generous with his time – from prior to purchase, after purchase prior to delivery, and post-delivery. Our new dog has been amazing, and Perry has been very helpful in answering all our questions. Importantly for us, we knew from our conversations with Perry exactly what we would be getting from our six-month old dog – stable temperament, sociability, obedience training, protection training, crate training and house training. These characteristics and training have been invaluable. In addition, from Perry’s handler course, we knew exactly how to work with our new dog to maintain and continue his development. When I decided to get a Belgian Malinois, I did a lot of research on the breed. I spoke to numerous breeders, trainers and dog experts. They all pointed me to talk with Perry at C.C.P.D as the expert that I needed. Very glad that I did!! I emailed him and he responded back post haste. We spoke over the phone and Perry explained the process for the purchase as well as his training methodology which is very precise. Think of a fine swiss watch maker, only with dogs. I was nervous about wiring money, again glad that I did, or I would have missed out on what could possibly be the wisest purchase of my life. Perry took note of my concerns and desires and began to reach out to his many contacts in the dog world. After almost 20 years in the business he has a wealth of information at his fingertips. He found a dog, “Princess” who turned out to have quite a pedigree and relation to other fine dogs of this caliber. Princess is sweet, loving and calm. When we are together in public she is aware and obedient to her core. People fall in love with dogs. This relationship s different. Princess’s skill set allows her to be an even better companion in day to day issues. Having a canine with super-powers is even easier than I thought. She does all the work, I just hold the leash. I feel better, less anxious and even protected with her at my side in public. In private her skill-set applies to make her an even more loving companion. Words cannot explain what an incredible dog we got from @ccprotectiondogs.  She is so smart, calm, clear-headed, strong and obedient that it is shocking that she is only eight months old.  But her incredible demeanor and physical abilities are a testament to the exceptional breeding and training that @ccprotectiondogs provides.  Our family has never owned an animal, but we wanted a protection dog given that we own a rather large property.  We were a bit anxious about taking the leap, especially because we have two young boys (5 and 6 years old) and lack experience with dogs.  Nevertheless, after doing my research and speaking to many people, it became abundantly clear to me that Perry and @ccprotectiondogs are the superior choice when looking for a trained protection dog (or a puppy, given that the bloodlines they maintain are of the highest caliber). Perry is incredibly knowledgeable and beyond generous with his time.  He immediately returned my phone calls and text messages, including at night and over the weekend, and he answered every question I had and proactively gave us advice based on his assessment of what we should be doing relative to the dog and how to raise her.  And when we decided to purchase the dog, he got her to us as fast as possible based on our wishes and he continues to answer our questions. (Hence, this is not a business owner that just cuts off contact after making a sale.  Perry cares about his customers and his dogs and it really shows.) Finally, the delivery couldn't have gone any better. The trainer, Josh, who came out with Cayman is a delightful person and a fantastic representative of @ccprotection dogs.  We simply could not have had a better experience with him, so much so that we wanted him to stay for our family dinner and were sad (including Cayman) to see him go back home.  He also answered all of our questions--when he couldn't, he got the answer from Perry--and was very focused on getting the dog acclimated to our family, and teaching us how to carry on with the training that she had been receiving.
