I have a huge dog, not an easy job but the HL team did an amazing job! The Palos Verdes area needed a service like Hound Lounge. Welcome to the neighborhood! Chapeau!

In 2019 they dropped my dog off the grooming table. Didn’t take him to the vet right away. Called me and told me that the dog had started to limp. I take my dog to the Vet right away and they had shattered his knee in 3 places. I had to pay out of pocket right away for all expenses. They did not offer to give us extra money for all the trouble or issues down the road (which he still has). Avoid this place at all costs. Send me a message if you want to hear more about them.

Needed my new dogs nails filed down. Was a simple visit and we could see each other though I was outside the door, so she felt comfortable. So open, clean and great service.

Before & After - Kennedy did a great job giving Charlie his usual shave. While our regular groomer is no longer their the staff did a great job pairing Charlie up with someone who has worked with cocker spaniels. In one day, Charlie went from pandemic pup to movie pup.. I always feel comfortable leaving Charlie in the staffs care during his spa days. When we arrive we're always greeted by a few dogs (since it's also a day care) which can be intimidating at first but, Ashley and the other staff at the front desk, always greets Charlie with a warm welcome. I can tell they ease each dog into their appointment with care before bringing them into the pen with the other pups. Thank you, Hound Lounge WC! Also, they are in a new location so it's worth mentioning that this location is a lot better. It's in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

I take my dog here for grooming. She gets nervous at any groomer and develops tangles and matts if I leave it too long. Hound lounge grooming professionals are very patient and take care of her quickly if she needs a quick tidy up. She has had a longer breed specific groom if she is not so nervous. They do a great service on her depending on my requests. I come here as I really trust their work. I highly recommend the service here regardless of your needs; you won't be disappointed!

This Groomer was amazing. They did such an amazing job with My dog, I am in awe. I was so sad after my experience with a previous groomer who had left my dog tangled and matted in areas. The previous groomer tried to completely shave my dog but the hound lounge was able to give him a beautiful haircut and remove all the tangles without shaving my dog bald. They left him with a fluffy head and a fluffy tail. You can tell they care about the work they are doing. I didn’t know how this experience would turn out but the hound lounge exceeded far beyond my expectations. I can’t put in words how grateful and appreciative I am to have found this place. They turned an awful experience into a blessing in disguise. I absolutely love love this haircut. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you! Amber

I LOVE THIS PLACE! They treat my dog like a princess and I could not have better things to say about the groomer Eelan (Red hair) she takes her time with my dog who is getting old and makes sure to go the extra mile every time! My dog comes out looking like a puppy with a huge smile on her face! I could not be more satisfied with my hair cuts after going to the Hound Lounge for the past 2 years. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their dog not just groomed but pampered to the fullest extent! Thank you hound lounge and Eelan!

Houndlounge is fantastic! The staff is extremely helpful and give the dogs and their owners a good sense of security and professionalism. My 2 yr old 65lb standard poodle is a big baby and normally is deathly afraid of new people but the staff made him feel right at home. He looks amazing and smells great, very reasonably priced.

I heard about this place through a neighbor. I have 3 dogs and the oldest is 14 so I have had a fair share of grooming services to compare. They have done a wonderful job and my dogs have never been cuter. Plus the dogs practically get a playdate while they wait their turn. I love that! Super impressed and will be a long term customer here.

Our dogs have always gotten a good haircut here and come home happy. I recommend them. Note that my dogs are small, around 20-25 pounds each.

They dropped my dog or injured him when we sent him to get a groom. Horrible how they treated us when it happened too. They said that he had come like that and they would not pay for his broken leg. RUDE. I know for a fact that we didn't send him like that. I would not recommend this place for dignified (or any) dog owner. We will defiantly be taking our money to a in house groomer.t

The staff at Hound Lounge does a great job grooming my dog, Bear, and taking care of him during the day while I am at work. I highly recommend them.

They go a great time on my Golden I take her 4 to 6 times a year and used them since they have open.

Our dog is eager to go everywhere...but here. For some reason he was afraid of this place and wouldn't go in. That worried us, so we stopped coming after a few visits. Prices are a little on the high side. Not outrageous, but more than other places for our 70 pound dog. The groom job was good though.

My wife took our toy poodle to Clean Dog Healthy Dog in September of last year, and he came back with a cut bad enough that we took him to the vet. You can read her review and the response from the owner on Yelp (Jill S.), but the treatment she received was so bad that I wanted to post my own review. We called to try to speak to the owner to complain, after three days got a call back with a half-hearted apology and offer to pay the vet bill, and then absolute silence when we sent a copy of the bill. Months later, the owner replied to her Yelp review: "I would have happily covered her vet bill if she was a reasonable human being. She has blown the whole situation out of proportion, and instead of contacting us to discuss the matter, she decided to go straight to yelp and leave a nasty review. I called her before reading the review, apologized and was about to send her a check. Then I went on yelp and saw her review. If you had come to me before leaving a nasty review, I would have happily wrote you a check. Now, you're basically slandering us online, and you want me to send you money? Really?" I'm absolutely stunned that this is how the owner of this business would behave. Insulting your customers and calling them liars? We've already taken our business elsewhere. I recommend others do the same.
