Making the appointment is the hardest part, even though we can't go in with our fur babies they take good care of them.

We love Ohana for our dogs. They have given top notch care for urgent care visits and routine visits. They follow up after every appointment to make sure our pup is doing well. Everyone we have encountered seems to love their job and truly enjoy caring for animals.

Very long wait. Very busy. Nice people but understaffed. Good hospital.

Multiple bad experiences. Better Vet offices in the area who actually care to see you and advise treatment appropriately.

It's an okay vet. Just like many very out there they can take you to the cleaner by offering some unnecessary procedures over your pet being under the weather, such as blood test, x ray, IV, ..... There are vetenarian that actually care about you per and your wallet out there, but I only ran into a few of them

We tried our best,but these ladies believe that the world is their own! Very stuck up, simply put there are vets that care about the customers/dog owners, not these people!Enough said, they stink!

The visit started a bit late, but it was worth it. We saw Dr. Kane and Daisy (the vet tech). Dr. Kane apologized that she was late because of an emergency. She then took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. She didn't try to rush our appointment at all which I really appreciate. I asked some end of life questions that other vets had avoided, but she was so straight forward with the information. I also learned a few new things about my dog's chronic disease. Daisy was also awesome. I requested a different test than normal before I saw the vet. I forgot to tell the vet when they took my dog back for her tests. I thought my dog would get the old test because I forgot, but Daisy remembered and came back to make sure I still wanted it. I really appreciate it because it meant a less stressful time for my dog. It's the least stressed my dog's been after a vet appointment in the last 3 years. Daisy is the hero of the day for that. Thank you Daisy! I've had a bit of a rough time with the pharmacy in the past, but I can't be sure if that was Ohana's fault or the mail order pharmacy's fault. It was a frustrating, but eventually everything worked out.

Been bringing my dogs here for five years and they adore the vets and staff here. Always professional, always busy.

The staff at Ohana are so great. They truly love animals and know how to care for them. That's Ohana.

My vet that we take our dogs to, shut me down when I asked them to put my rat down.. coming to ohana was a great decision. AMAZING staff, so friendly, and helpful. Dr Quinn, walked me through how she was going to help my rat go peacefully, she was so comforting while I balled my eyes out, she was so amazing to me. I will always recommend here!

Extremely caring tech came to the car to take her into the clinic for stitches removal. He made sure all my questions were answered before I left. Competent and loving staff. Who better to look after your family members?

Ohana Pet Hospital will miss key information and do their testing and procedures wrong. Then they will blame you the pet owner for their mistakes. My cat is needing to get the proper paper work for moving to Hawaii. Ohana told me to have the anti body test (that is needed for Hawaii) taken the same day as the the rabies vaccination was given to my cat, and of corse the test results showed no ani bodies. Other vets and the internet has shown me that this was extremely wrong and not the protocol. After months and many phone calls to Ohana. They came to the conclusion that it was my fault, I should have know (even though I didn’t go to vet school), and the only solution was to pay another $400 to take the test again. I guess at this place Ohana does not mean family it means money.

I have been taking my pitties to ohana pet hospital for at 7 yrs now, and I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of my fur babies. Yes they are constantly busy and getting a reasonable appointment is hard but they care deeply about each and everyone of their patients and their owners . They help the owners in every way possible when it comes time to pay the bill. Thank you to all the staff at ohana . You guys are awesome .

I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a vet. I am not sure if it due to their office staff or the lack of communication with the actual veterinarian, but it was an absolute mess trying to bring my dog in. Here is a summary- my dog is having nasal issues, and we were from out of town. I had my vet send all the records TWO weeks before so that if there were any questions, we could discuss them prior. I called and confirmed the details of the appointment THREE times! And yet, the vet didn't review the file till the night before. Additionally, I requested not to have a curbside appointment because I know that this is a new vet, and my dog does not do well. Unfortunately, they set up the appointment for the Santa Paula location, not Ventura like I requested, so then we were late and could only do curbside. My dog was terrified and stressed for no reason besides terrible communication. On top of that, when I initially called the office (all three times), the staff told me they could schedule his Biopsy right away, and there were no scheduling concerns, but they just needed to see him in person. This was the reason for the appointment, in addition to taking follow-up labs. So we get to the appointment, and the vet informed us that this is not the case, that they are scheduling four to six weeks out. So the entire appointment was a waste of time. This office came highly recommended, but this was my first and my last time ever going to any of tthe Ohana locations

I live out of state, but my parents live in Ventura. They had 3 dogs: Tigger, Yana, and Mr. Tibbs. The final one passed last month. My dad emailed Dr. Nicci to thank her for her care. I was visiting from Texas when she reached out and called him. This meant the world to my parents. I have only heard good things from friends who live in town and they always recommend Ohana to others.
