Dee Dee's Dog Spot Ventura, California

The place was very clean. They groom less dogs so they can have more quality time with each dog. Ivy is amazing! She cares, explains and most important, she listens to what I want.

The only place in Ventura I will take my Pomeranian to get groomed. The staff is always friendly, professional and timely! She always comes out looking like the cutest thing! We love Dee Dee's Dog Spot!

Some places where we had our senior dogs groomed they came home an emotional mess. When we took them to Dee Dees they came home happy little campers like always. We are estatic that they’re open again.

My wife made an appointment at 1030 a.m. for my two dogs to get groomed (haircuts). At drop off, with my young children 2 and 3, she was told 3 1/2- 4 hrs. No problem, she planned to take them to grab something to eat and for a walk. After 4 hours she attempts to call to no avail. After I get off work and my wife and children have been waiting and calling, they can't go anywhere do to Covid-19 for obvious reasons, I finally get someone (the owner) to answer at the 5 hr mark and am told another 20-30 min. Upon explaining my frustration to the owner, who for all intents and purposes was very polite, she essentially says sorry, out of her control. My wife has previously stated that she prefers this groomer as they do well with our dogs. I however do have to point out the lack of professionalism, not necessarily in not meeting an agreed upon time frame, things happen I understand, but in not contacting a customer or answering their calls when it occurs. I am unclear whether or not we will be returning customers moving forward.

Dee Dee was sweet and took her time with my baby. I was super nervous because I have never left him with anyone and he hasn't been groomed yet. She reassured me and made me feel better. When I got my baby back, he was happy, beautiful and fresh and fluffy! Thanks Dee Dee! We will see you again when I'm ready to cut all his beautiful puppy locks!

Great service. My dog really hates having his nails trimmed and he is a large dog, the girl who helped me had no problem keeping him under control and calm. It's been hard finding the right place to help me with this but I think I finally found it here. I recommend them to anyone who has the same issue. Thank you so much.

I went to Dee Dee’s and used the self serve dog washing station. Great experience all the way around. Staff was helpful, the bathing area was very clean. They give you soap towels and a drier for your pup!!

I love this place. My labadore Aspen, just adores everyone there. People are attentive, caring and responsible. My big huge baby girl looks forward to playing with and seeing her woof friend's and hug buddies.

You just cant get a better, more loving and caring group of people to take care of your pooch is needs. The owner is just a phenomenal woman who does her best to make every pup feel right at home.
