What a wonderful cats-only vet!! I am so grateful to the staff of a Cat's View for helping my baby boy Doom. He ultimately needed to have part of his colon removed, and spent a lot of time hospitalized in their facility. He's home now and doing really well. Dr Matthews is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her staff were attentive and super sweet to me and my baby. Thank you Brooke, Mel, Christine, Heidi, Harmony, and everyone else for all your help and kindness. My boys, Doom and Gloom, were so happy to see each other again after Doom's hospitalization. I'm so happy to have them back together with me. Thank you! A special thanks to the FACE Organization who helped tremendously with the cost of his subtotal colectomy. Patty responded within minutes of my application, and held my hand through getting all the necessary screenshots, statements, and documentation to be approved for assistance. I don't think I could have done this without them.

This is literally the best vet ever. They pay such close attention to detail and treat your cat like that's the only cat that has ever existed. Their explanations are incredibly in depth and informative. They give you a lot of options when it comes to pricing. Prices aren't absurdly high. I was paying the same amount for, what feels like, a tenth of the care at another vet. They told me more about my cat and her health at the first visit than my old vet after four years of going there. They are all friendly and very obviously love cats. Not to mention, the building is so cute. If you live close enough to take your cat, definitely take them!! This place is more than worth it.

All the ladies here are super nice. They treated my kitty like their own, with love and care. My cats surgical incision healed beautifully, and every experience during this process was pleasant.

Dr. Nancy Matthews and Dr. Jessica Trubey take special care to ensure that both my cats and I are comfortable with treatment options. They take plenty of time to explain everything to me. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. I have also used their boarding area. It is clean and filled with interesting sounds and things to entertain my cats.

Dr. Matthews is detailed, informative and kind. She, takes the time to explain, when your cat has an office visit. The veterinary assistants have patience too and give a lot of TLC to visiting cats.

I have had cats my whole life. I’ve been to my share of Veterinarians. Some I thought were the best. Then I found Dr Nancy Matthews, at A Cats View Veterinary Hospital in Valley Center. She is far above any one I thought was “the best”. She always makes it very clear what is going on with my cat. I don’t walk away confused because I don’t understand the terminology. She also lets me know what choices I have, and how each choice will be for my cat. She is compassionate, and one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. She helped me through the hardest time of my life, when I had to say goodbye to my sweet Bailey. I will never forget it. I feel she loves my cat as much as I do ❤️ Her staff is a reflection of her. They are all so caring and kind. I trust them all and know that my cat is always cared for in the most loving way. My cats will never go anywhere else. I don’t live in Valley Center, but I will drive as many miles as I have to. She is worth going the extra miles, believe me. To anyone reading this, your cat, or cats will get the best care possible, and so will you. And your cat deserve her!! ❤️

I love Dr. Mathews and her staff! They are so good with my cats, and I know I can trust her advice. I have brough my mom's cats, and 4 of my own to her for years and she always gets the diagonsis spot on, while still being very considerate of letting us decide the level of care we can afford. A cat's view whole staff loves and cares for the kitties too, its so nice to know everyone who handles my sick kitty cares so deeply and I know is just as gentle with them as we are. They recover faster and stay healthier because the vet is a friendly warm place, my cat's aren't afraid of going in.

This is were I want to work when I am older. They are amazing with the cats and really know what they are doing!
