They took in my cat for an emergency abscess surgery on his head when I couldn't get him into my normal vet. They were friendly and professional, and they are thorough and attentive even still, calling to check up on him as other issues arise and persist.

Very organized office with minimal wait time. They are willing to work with me on procedures to fit my budget. There's no arm twisting to accept more than is necessary.

We were fortunate to get an appointment with Animal Advocates to have our puppy fixed. The vet and staff were super clear with what to expect. And I appreciated that the vet called to let me know that the operation went well, while I waited for her at home. The staff followed up again the next day. Our pup healed up wonderfully and we are so glad to have the process behind us.

I have been fairly new to that Vet clinic and needed their full attention to work with me to get certain tests done for my cat who was going in a different clinic for an iodine treatment. My cat is/was hyperthyroid and there was a tight timeframe I had to get all done. I changed from a different vet because those needs where not met. Animal Advocates came through on all and I am very appreciative!! They also called after each stay my cat had at their clinic and checked how he was doing. Very caring people work there and I am glad I finally found a vet that still cares enough and is not just all about the money, like most new renovated vet clinics do nowadays.

After several veterinarian experiences in Vallejo, I have found Animal Advocates to be the most caring for my little furry baby and found them to be gentle and loving. I also feel they give options for every budget and don't try to upsell every time I am there, which was my issue with previous practices. The staff is warm and wonderful!

This is not low cost. That said, they saved my little one. She was really sick. It was them or the emergency. They took her same day. Worth every penny.

Got my dog in right away when others had a week wait for my dog who was not feeling well. Did thorough check and got her back to health quickly! Absolutely the best!!! Thank you Animal Advocates!

I brought my golden doodle to be neutered and they were amazing. They checked him out before taking him in and they were very informative and friendly. They kept me informed and updated on how he was doing. Once I picked him up, they reviewed what I could expect in the evening and the following day. They went over the medication. I actually have changed them as my regular vet due to the experience.

They do good care and very helpful. I just wish they had a little more compassion. I was taking my dog there he had a major eye problem and was 50/50 chance of needing a surgery. After 2 visits finally my dog was getting better and had a follow apt in a few days, unfortunately my dog out of no where passed away and when i called to cancel the apt and let them know he had passed away the lady who answered had no compassion. I told her i had to cancel the apt due to my dog passing away and all she said was ok ill tell the doctor and hung up. I was already devastated for the loss of my fur baby and that was just a shock. I dont know what i was expecting but i think a simple "im so sorry for your loss" would have been appreciated.

We have 5 indoor outdoor cat's and always have a good experience bringing them here. Misty has stitches right now and she is doing great.

My dog needed medical attention right away and they were able to squeeze her in. The staff was great! Answered all my questions and helped me pick out the most important services for my dogs procedure. Dr. Liu did a great job at explaining the procedure and the aftercare. I love that the vet techs follow up the next day to make sure everything is going well and to answer any questions.

Our first visit with our new dog was great, despite not being able to accompany him into the office. Dr Liu called after examining our dog Walt, and reported his findings. He then came out to the car so we could put a face to the name. Vet Tech Luis was very professional and informative; after he went back inside our son said "I liked him, he was nice." We plan to stick with Dr Liu and Animal Advocates for all of Walt's care!

I usually take my dogs to a vet out in Concord. I decided to try this place out since it was closer to me. As it turns out I had taken one of my dogs here in the past, but I had no recollection of this. My dog had a mild ear infection, he’s young so I wanted to at least get it checked out and I thought it would be a pretty simple procedure. So they took him in, checked him out, and when they came back with the quote, they had a long list of line items that had nothing to do with an ear infection, including 3 injections they had no explanation for, totaling $550+. For a mild ear infection. I told them no, and they quoted me $144 for the check up and a simple ear cleaning which I could have done at home. When they came back they said it was $230 with medication.. again I said no, I can get ear infection medication from chewy.com for $30. The vet I usually go to is always straight forward with all my dogs issues, they even over explain (which I prefer so I can research more later). I will never take my dogs here again, I’d rather take the trek out to concord and have some honest people take care of my dog.

Animal Advocates is extremely responsive. They always check in on us after appointments and send reminders. They always make sure you understand prices and procedures before they are done.

Well, more things happened than I anticipated but I know my Queened and Cooper got the best care that they good get. Thanks to all staff who facilitated their care.
