My gato gordo appreciates their foil balls and crinkle fish. Kind demeanor of employees makes up for low peepee pad selection, as of course it isn't their fault.

Nice staff who try to help with our service dog needs.

I went here to get my dog groomed and not only did Katy do a terrible job, my dog was traumatized for 2 days. Horrible grooming place!!

the manager, Melissa told me F U Very loudly in the store. She said she was upset because people before me yelled and then she took it out on me. Then she threw her keys down at the cashier and said she quit. I will never ever shop at Petco again and I hope you fire her in case she changed her mind

Petco always has what I'm looking for. The employees are friendly, courteous and always know where any item I need is located!! I love the store!!

Petco is the best! The salespeople are always helpful and they have a huge selection of things from fish, hamsters; rats, to reptiles, birds, dogs and cats and a lot of everything else in between. I Love the variety of foods they have in stock for our cat and dogs.

Never any appointments available anymore. Company refuses to hire more staff even with appointments fully booked for 6+ months.

Returned something I bought online and it was very easy and quick!

The sales lady stopped what she was doing to listen to my questions, then brought me to the isle where I could find the two items I needed. She was VERY friendly and cheerful the whole time.

I've shopped here a few times and I've bought 2 guinea pigs on 2 separate occasions from this location. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They're always able to answer my questions. I've only had one bad experience but it's worth mentioning. Early this October, I went in to get supplies and spontaneously bought a new piggy. Everything was going great until a staff member, who was clearly inexperienced at handling animals, was assigned to box up my piggy. She was in the large hexagon cages that are on the sales floor so there was a lot of room in the cage... I watched this employee chase my little piggy around the cage for nearly 2 minutes before she caught her. Wasted time and tormented my pig right before sending it off to a new home. Her first memory with me was a near traumatic experience and it was solely because the team member who helped was inexperienced at handling little pigs. The way she chased the pig around the cage and hesitated so much was honestly painful to watch and was a slightly infuriating as I care very deeply about the mental welfare of my critters. I'm leaving out her name because she wasn't rude or a bad employee or anything, but I do hope Vacaville Petco sees this review. Coming from a former Napa Petco employee, PLEASE, train your employees on how to pickup and handle the animals in the store.

Went with family to buy engraved dog tags for 6 dogs

Petco was awesome! I could get lost in the place. Was in a hurry so I didn't get to see all of Petco. I think it's awesome and can't wait to shop there. I give it 5 star's!!!

Low stock and not as frienly as could be staff.

While waiting in line for my turn with the one cashier, I heard a customer say to her that she was her neighbor and introduce herself. The cashier didn't seem to say much, but I also wasn't paying much attention. When the customer walked away and said goodbye, the cashier rolled her eyes. I have no idea what the history is, but that seemed rude. A couple of customers later, and it was my turn. I was there to return an item. Very simple and straightforward. For whatever reason, they needed a manager approval even though it was an inexpensive item and I had my receipt, purchased a week or 2 before. It took a bit for the manager to show up, which is not a surprise, but the line behind me was out of the designated line area and into the store by the time she showed up and approved it. It seems that if you are only going to have one cashier, the least you should do for the sake of your customers, is make it someone who has the ability to do all basic transactions or have a backup cashier/manager there to help.

Chava is amazing and so bright! I can't believe he's only been there a month. He is a living google on reptiles!

Petco used to have a great selection of bird supplies. Hasn't been bird friendly for the past year here in Vacaville CA. I have to order everything I need on line. It's to bad I love shopping there, not so much now.

I only go in to buy fish supplies in an emergency now...SARA in very rude. does not Speak or acknowledge me. I Bought a 60 gallon aquarium sometime back, then return it because I found a better deal somewhere else....SARA acted like it was something personal, three years later~ she's still rude. Honestly, if you have color on your skin...you will not be welcome there. I've had bad experiences in grooming too with one Particular woman " no longer work there"

Good service. A little pricy.

The people who work here are always very nice and see how excited my dog is and usually give him a free treat for being so well behaved.

I only go shopping there for our pet's Dog food. I can't properly rate them for grooming or other services. The Staff are nice people.
