Al is a great trainer and I love his philosophy. Always positive for the dog and you but also, he helps train you to know how to respond to your dog so you get the result you want. So not is he only training the dog he’s also training you! Would recommend if you need any dog training he’s the guy.

Our Belgian Malinois is very territorial in the house, making it impossible for family to care for her when we are out of town. Alan's took great care of our pup while we were away, and we are so grateful for their excellence and knowledge with working dog breeds!

Alan is fabulous with the dogs. We have a strong willed 1.5 yo, and it's exciting to see her act like a show dog for him! I truly think he is training us more than the dog!

Had my first session today. Alan definitely knows what he is doing. I saw an immediate change in my 1yr old husky. Alan was very patient with me learning to actually handle my dog and never made me feel bad or uncomfortable when I did something wrong. I'm excited to see how much Miska (my husky) will learn and change over these next few weeks!

***EXCELLENT TRAINER*** I've had several dogs and never had a problem training them. But just so happens, we now have a pretty difficult dog (puppy). But Alan is THE BEST. Think "dog whisperer" because that is what he is! So grateful for his help and excellent training skills with our Beligian Malinois. We have also boarded her there and felt very comfortable leaving her there knowing she was in such good hands. Alan is easy going. Down to earth. It's a family business and Alan and his wife run a FIRST CLASS operation. Highly recommended!

Alan is excellent trainer for the dog and the dog owner

This kennel is great, it's small and clean. I took my big scardy boxer there for a meet and greet. This is the first place I felt comfortable leaving my baby. He liked the people and didn't act a mess when we left. I already have several times booked and can't wait finally take a vacation.

Alan's Canine is the only place I will be around my 2 dogs. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They care about each dog they board. Alan is a true dog whisperer when it come to training your new pup or older dog. You can see very quick results with his one on one instruction. He doesn't just train your pet he trains you also. My dogs love him and get excited when I drop them off for boarding.

Alan is a great trainer who utilizes humane training practices that are extremely effective. I took my two labs and (crazy) Britney spaniel to him and they now have very sound behavioral control and off leash manners. Alan and Karen’s dog boarding service is top notch as well. Their helpers are awesome with our dogs and I can tell our dogs trust them completely.

This is a great place for your fur babies. Very clean, and they take good care of your doggies.

Karen and Alan are in this business for all of the right reasons! They have a passion and love for dogs. They have dogs of their own, they love dogs. and they treat your dogs like they were their own. They have been with us through the lives of 2 beloved dogs, who we have usually been able to take with us when we travel, so they aren't used to being boarded. Their place is a just little bit out in the country, so there is lot's of space and fresh air, and the kennel is kind of open to that, so It doesn't feel closed in for my dogs, which they like, Im sure. I've been Karen's hairstylist for as long as I've had dogs, so I kind of have an inside scoop on life at the facility. I remember one conversation, several years ago. Karen was upset because she noticed that 2 of her staff members were out with a couple of the dogs, and they were conversing with eachother during the dogs' scheduled play time. She was complaining because that time was set aside for special playtime for the dogs, the clients expected their dogs to be played with with, not standing around while the staff chatted. I thought "Wow. That is the definition of good character and ethics when it comes to your business. To do the right thing even when no one is watching." I never forgot that conversation because I respect it so much, which is why I wanted to share it. I just want people to know that Karen and Alan are good people and that is reflected in their business. I may treat my animals like big babies to the point that they are anxious when we have to leave them, but I never have to worry about anything other than them missing me when I'm away. I know they are safe, cared for, and loved. I hope I never have to think about taking my dogs anywhere else!
