Dr. D. is truly amazing, he has a compassion for animals and is an excellent veterinarian. He and his staff work together as a team and they have always been wonderful with my pets! I always recommend him to people.

Whom ever answered the phone when I called must've been having a rotten day cause they were very rude, and told me that they nor anyone else in the city were taking new clients until further notice.

I used to take my dogs to Sunset Animal hospital, and when one of my dogs had a medical emergency, they refused to see him and said they were booked for two weeks. I called Alamo, and they immediately saw my dog and treated him. Since then, I take both of my dogs to Alamo, and am very happy with my decision to switch. The doctor and staff are very professional, polite, and understanding. I highly recommend bringing your pets here. Thank you for the great service!

After years of taking my dog to Aggie animal clinic and being unhappy with the outcome time and time again, I took some advise and tried this place. Right away the Dr. found the problem and was very thorough with the description of the problem. Also gave me a detailed explanation of what caused the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and really takes time with the animal, he really cares about finding the issue, not like Aggie where it seems they rush you in and out, collect your money and send you on the way without ever solving anything. The Dr. at Alamo animal hospital blows all other vets away that I have been to. After this visit I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend this place! my dog had been uncomfortable for so long due to mis diagnosing her issue from the other place. I couldn't be any happier with his knowledge. Wish I would have made the change to this place when she was pup and my best friend would be in better health.

Looks can be deceiving. Don't judge a book by its cover. Doctor and the staffs there were very caring. They go extra mile to help you.

Went to our appointment today to become an established patient as we are new to the area. The doctor came out in the parking lot and asked why I was there. I told him to get my dog set up as a patient. He was apparently very confused by this. He then asked me to lift my 55 pound dog up into the bed of my truck. He could tell I wasn't ok with this, mumbled something, walked away, came back with a towel and another tech. He then kneeled on the towel and was examining my dog outside in the parking lot! My dog was already scared from the noises and traffic all around. He began to pant and get overheated (English Bulldog). I was so annoyed by this point that I asked if they were going to take him inside or what? Dr. then said he needed shot records- okay- shouldn't I have been asked about that when I set up appointment? Picked up my dog, put him in my vehicle and left. When I got home, I called and asked what that whole crazy appointment was. The manager stated that is how "All the vets in the area are doing their appointments". Outside in the parking lot? Not true. Called another one and confirmed their process. Guess what? They take your animal INSIDE so they can be examined in a quiet and safe atmosphere. Craziest appointment I've ever encountered and what a waste of my time!

Love that I have chosen them as my vet. Dr is amazing and knows animals. My dogs and cat love him and he has always given the exact treatments. Fees are very affordable as well. 5 star rating....

They are very helpful. The Doctor isn't afraid of any type of dogs. I just took my American bully there and he was very gentle and not afraid at all. They did a great job on him and he is good as new.

I love Dr. Dhaliwal and his fabulous staff! I have 5 animals, and they all go to Dr. D. His prices are reasonable and he will match prices at Pet Med on line.

Great service came out to vehicle to give shots

Was told my dog wouldn't last till Christmas and wanted to get a second opinion they said he had a cancerous mass on his spleen i called Alamo animal hospital and got a appointment that week. I called back so I could get there email to send over records and x-rays next thing I know Dr. D is calling us saying he needs to come in now I told him we were about an hour long drive away he said no problem and made it so as soon as we got to town my pup would be seen. So Dr.D checks him out and says he's main issue isn't the spleen mass but his heart failure which BTW the other vet never told us about. And we were charged over 1k. Dr D has giving us more answers, options and time with our pup and didnt charges us close to what the other place did. Its a long drive for us put as long as its not an emergency we will be coming back here.

The food is GREAT and All of the safety measures are required and unforced..love the Tri-tip sandwich ????????

Great animal service with friendly front desk managers, the doctors are top notch.

Good honest Vet. They know how to handle my dogs who are not easy. They can almost always get you in the same day if you call early enough and you have a real need. Have got senior discounts there. Have been through a lot with my animals, and Dr. Dhaliwal has been a huge part in all of our lives. Cant think of any other place to go.

Friendly staff who treat your pets as if they were their own.

I've taken my dog here a couple times the Vet is very kind. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do to save our family dog the last time and we had to put him down, a couple weeks later wer got a card with our old friends paw prints and a condolence letter signed by the staff. A very kind gesture that was unexpected and greatly anticipated.
