We were so lucky, the first dog we saw was truly meant for us! We visited in June to "just look" but I fell in love as soon as we saw the dog we adopted. He was way bigger than we had planned but he had the sweetest eyes and I knew he'd fit in perfect! Go in with an open mind, I had planned on getting a small to medium sized rescue but now I couldn't imagine being without my 80 lb shadow.

Sadly I had to turn in my babes cuz we couldn't care for em the way they deserved the staff were very kind and understanding

Sad to say I had to have my beloved Ranger euthanized today. The employees at Palms and Paws were so helpful. They were very sympathetic and caring.

Thanks go out to the City of 29 Palms and their Animal Control Dept. So helpful and professional I'm happy my taxes go to this service. Keeping our city clean by taking care of the remains. I appreciated having someone to call.

This is a no-kill animal shelter oh, super nice employees, good wide variety of pets available, good adoption fees

Great animal shelter rescued my dogs from there has a play area in front so you can see if you like the dog

Visited to look for a dog to adopt. Unfortunately most of the dogs were on medical hold for adoption. Will check back to see if there are new dogs. Lookingl for a female over 6 months old. No pitbulls. They are at least open for adoption and meet the pets. Very disappointed the rest of the valleys animal shelters are only doing on line. Adopt but not able to meet the animals ????

It was cool for the animals in this 106 weather today. The animals are well cared for. I highly recommend and will return to visit.

My sister adopted a wonderful cat from there and was told to have him neutered this poor fur baby came back with an infection on his foot! How does a cat go in to get neutered and comes out limping with a deep wound on his paw!!!!

My experience in this animal shelter, was extremely friendly and very considerate I love my new family members coco (shy shy) and little kovu (Mighty Mouse) these two are stuck together like glue, thank you!!!

Such cute animals. A lot of flies in the dog area. But still better than some other animal shelters I have seen. I love to come to see cute animals, but I need to stop. 2 Times already I ended up adopting!.

Dropped off 100 pet bandanas for adoption day, staff was friendly and they were to find homes for 3 cats and 18 dogs ????
