This place is one of the best animal care facilities! Having dealing with putting one of your animals down is not easy thing. The sincere kindness they showed to my Lucy and I made it some what bearable. Just all-around great place super cream super courteous just great people that actually care!

I brought my dog here for seizures and I was impressed with the care and service. They listened to me, watched the videos I had of my dog's symptoms and performed the neccessary testing. It was expensive, but in line with what I expected. At the end it was totally worth the cost for the diagnosis. So reassuring to know there are not tumors or strokes! The anti-seizure meds are working great!

VNC was truly a blessing to come across. From the friendliness of the staff to the compassionate and professionalism of the doctors and technicians, I cannot be thankful enough for everyone. I was in a horrible situation where my dog unexpectedly became paralyzed due to IVDD. We tried to take him to several places where he was instantly turned down for treatment. As emotional I was I continue to call around town to see if I can find anyone help my poor fur baby. By the grace of God, I managed to talk to the sweetest person Michelle, front desk staff, whose exact words were “Bring him in. , and we will figure it out”. I eagerly made it to VNC and able to talk to Dr. Schissler. He calmly explained the issue at hand to me and promised to do as much as he can to ensure that my dog could walk again. They provided alternative ways to pay for the surgery and ensured to give me an update on a consistent basis. As crazy as it may seem I instantly had a sense of relief that I knew my sweet Frenchie was in the right hands. He was able to have the appropriate surgery ,but unfortunately developed a mass on the incision that forced him to stay in the hospital a little longer. The Dr made sure to call me every day to give me and update until he was comfortable enough to send him home. 2 weeks post surgery and things are starting to feel a bit normal again, thanks to the wonderful people at VNC

Had a serious accident with my little Pomeranian and the entire staff was amazing. They went out of their way to reassure us. Their compassionate care was so needed at that time. Fortunately my dog made a full recovery.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Schissler! My baby was paralyzed 5 weeks ago and I was frantic trying to find help in my small town in the high desert. I was referred here on May 14th he accepted her and did surgery that night and couldn’t be happier with the services and results. My girl is walking again and will have her life back thanks to these great people!

I cannot recommend VNC enough! From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the specialists....you will be in great hands. Dr. Schissler is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. I never feel pressured to run unnecessary tests, which is a breathe of fresh air!

Dr. Schissler was thorough and compassionate examining our 4lb maltipoo. He patiently walked us through the benefits and risk factors of each of our options between conservative treatment and surgery, which would be his second in six months (one in France). Dr. Schissler was careful to examine the nuances and implications of his unique case study as well as the considerations of his small size and hepatic issues. Within 15 minutes of our hour long talk through the window (due to covid) with Dr. Schissler, we knew that we would have a long relationship with Veterinary Neurology Center. They are the specialist we trust to give our pup, Archer, the best care and chance at as fulfilling a life as possible. We only live an hour from VNC but we know we would make a much much longer journey if need be. We can tell from their expertise, attention to detail, state of the art equipment, and from the amazing reviews on Google that they are the partners we’ve been needing in Archer’s struggle with IVDD. I’m writing a review because I know how critical it is to find amazing care for your fur children when they need you, especially with neurological disorders and spinal surgeries. Take them here, you won’t be sorry.

If you have a pet with Neurological needs, this medical facility is the place to take your pet. I love the staff and benefits it offers. I enjoy working with Dr. Stephen as I go and perform quarterly HVAC preventive maintenance on his building.

Under the circumstances of having to come to this facility, the staff and professionalism was second to none. The care and compassion they showed me and my dog Chuck was very comforting. It was somewhat of a far drive from where I lived but worth it for their knowledge and honesty alone. For anybody that needs this kind of service for their pet, I highly recommend them.

Doctor Hanson is a wonderful, caring and kind man. We took our dog Morgan in and he discovered a few things wrong with him and didn't want to waste our money on spinal surgery. So many others would have just done it and taken our money. I will always refer people to this place, with its fun and oh so sweet staff. We thank you so much for the wonderful and caring work you do.

We've unfortunately had to take one of our dogs twice due to her breed having back issues and we have to say we are super pleased with the level of care and compassion all staff we have encountered has had. Our dog is again on her way to recovery and are grateful that Veterinary Neurology is there.

They were kind and prompt in helping us in a difficult time with our shihtzu. I felt comfortable leaving him in their care while we waited for the MRI appointment. If we ever have another need for their services, I will not hesitate to call them.

Dr. Schissler and the rest of the team here are absolutely amazing! My 4 year old beagle was diagnosed with IVDD in her Cervical Spine and was in a lot of pain prior to coming to the neurology center. Dr. Schissler was very thorough when explaining Layla’s condition, the procedure and healing process. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and provides exceptional care! We are so thankful for Him and the rest of the staff for helping Layla!

When you bring your pet here, they already have an issue requiring this specialty and if you're like me, you'll be pretty nervous about it. The compassionate team here, receptionist, staff and doctors, will set you at ease. We felt better even before talking to Dr Vurik, she really set us at ease, she gave explanations, made recommendations and backed them up. If your pet has neuro issues or if your vet refers you here, just go. Price wise, it wasn't as crazy as I expected. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!
