I'm so happy to have found my new therapy/family dog at a shelter!!!! I first had to call in to make an appointment with my chosen animal(s) based on the list they have on their website for adoption. (They allow you to see two pets per appointment) During my appt, they sent me to a play area where synthetic grass was surrounded by a fenced/covered area. They brought the dog(s) to me one at a time for about 5 mins each. The staff was patient as the dogs ran around on their own for a while (I would too if I lived in a cage) and even let me borrow a ball to play fetch with them. Once I was set on the dog I wanted, they put the dog away and sent me to the front desk to process the paperwork and payment. I paid a total of $178 for the entire process. This cost includes everything: meds, vaccines, microchip spaying/neutering (*Mandatory*), and even the pet license that is required. That's less than a basic vet visit!!! If the pets are neutered/spayed you can take them the same day. If not, they will perform the surgery and call you directly when ready for pick up. You'll have 24 hours to p/u before a $51 board and care fee is applied. PLEASE help Save a pet and adopt, don't shop!!!!! (Dogs, cats, bunnies or other exotic animals too) This place is spectacular and the staff do a great job but these pets deserve happy homes! Come adopt yours, too!!!!

This shelter is over crowded but the fees are ridiculous. More and more dogs are being taken in everyday and with covid people can't afford these ridiculous prices. I almost had to give my dogs up this weekend because my neighbors would rather call the pound on me rather then let me know my dog got out, the bill to get them one was $1378. And the staff doesn't care to help. When you can their line it says they are opened for recoveries until 9 pm. They're not. I went twice, two hundred dollars each day that passed... ridiculous

The origitSix Flags park still packs in the fun! My recommendation would be to get the membership and season dining pass, as the food options here are above average for a SF park, and it's worth coming back to all year long. The holiday festivities are also great.

This group provides help in ways that no one else can. They are amazing! To the person complaining that the volunteer was rude when you called them for help, I think it's pretty rude to call a volunteer organization who is doing this out of the kindness of their heart, and be bothered that they might have had to go to do something important.

This rescue is horrible. I called regarding a cat and the lady over the phone was rude. She refuse to help, didn't care about the welfare of the animal. I don't understand what kind of rescue this is but I wouldn't trust them. I have never come across a rescue group that was so rude and condacending.

The most wonderful, resourceful people! They are very knowledgable and take the consideration of any pets welfare first and foremost. If you have the opportunity to work with OC Shelter Partners, you will be delighted.
