Family Pet Mortuary Turlock, California

Totally recommend this place to get your pet cremated at. We lost our dog unexpectedly and sudden and we were tight on money and the wonderful owner let us put a deposit and come back in two weeks to pay the rest in full and gave my guy. Im so beyond grateful for that unlike other places demanded full payment upfront. Thank you again for letting me get my bubs ashes and putting him to rest ????

I had both my kitties cremated by Family pet mortuary. Both are in beautiful boxes. I felt I really didn't need to do much thinking since they worked along side my vet. In light of the sadness I was very happy with their services.

I did not have a good experience at all with the owner. He was very unsympathetic after knowing we were in deep pain due to losing our family loving cat ....we were told we would get a lock of hair and paw print with our urn. He called us and was VERY RUDE when he let us know we weren’t going to be able to get the paw print or hair lock since he was very decomposed. But, yet before we dropped him off he was in perfect condition except for his bottom were he had been laying for 2 weeks , I feel the way he came at us with his rude tone of voice was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I believe he didn’t want to touch our cat because he was infested with maggots that’s all he had to say to us with professional mannerism and I would of been ok with that but had to lie. I would NEVER recommend this place due to the arrogant, rude and unprofessional owner I had to encounter on top of the pain we were already going through having just finding our beloved cat deceased and having to cremate him. We received NO compassion or sensitivity for our feelings or our precious loss.

This place is the best! For the circumstances you have to deal with this place goes above and beyond expectation I would recommend their services you won’t regret their compassion great job!!! Thanks sincerely !!!

There are no words to express how grateful and appreciative we are to Family Pet Mortuary. Our Bulldog Bubba, was our first pet as a family. He was a big part of our family and losing him was devastating. The compassion and respect, John gave us, as well as his professionalism was beyond what we expected. John not only treated us with such compassion, he treated and handled our Bubba with the same, if not more compassion and dignity. I even commented to my husband how Family Pet Mortuary showed more care, compassion and sympathy then a regular human mortuary. We cannot Thank John enough for his services. I highly recommend Family Pet Mortuary.

We took Bella to Turlock Family Mortuary yesterday and the owner called today and said she was ready. I can’t say enough good things about them. A beautiful Engraved blue brass heart for her ashes. The lock of hair was complimentary and offered to me with such sentiment. He was very kind, and respectful of her lil body and treated us with care. Phone call was very easy as you shouldn’t have to make it more than once when your grieving. They were so prompt, professional, and never made me feel rushed. Thank you

I was very saddened when we had to put my coco to sleep, my vet uses this company and I was very happy with what we received. A small wooden box with my beautiful coco's name on it and a certificate. I can't thank them and our vet enough, I was very pleased. Thank you so very much❤

Family pet mortuary made the process easier than I had expected. John took my pet personally inside. He provided all of the info I needed and i couldn't believe the presentation of my pet when I picked her up. She was placed in a nice temporary urn, with a nice card, and a gift bag. I wasn't handed a bag of ashes like I expected. They took pride in how they gave her back to me and it made it special to know she wasn't disposable and was cared for at such an emotional time. I couldn't have asked for a better service considering the circumstances. They were immediately available and extremely professional. Thank you for providing an exceptional service for such a hard part of life.

Today July 15th 2015 I pick up my Bambi Lane ashes I did not expect such outstanding service The box she came is was beautiful and the gold plate name also the card with her ID and the certificate of cremation .The sympathy card made me feel she was taking care of I just cant believe how Family Pet Mortuary cares about our love ones. I will forever be grateful for you guys being here for all of us pet lovers. I miss her so much but she is at peace. Thank You so much.

My beloved dog died in March of 2014. I searched online and found good reviews about Family Pet Mortuary in Turlock. They offer single/witnessed cremation so you are completely confident that you are actually getting your pets ashes back. John and Rick are great people. Rick took my initial, and subsequent phone calls. He explained everything to me in a very compassionate and professional manner. He told me that John would be waiting for me at the Mortuary. When I arrived John went into great detail explaining the entire process, and what was happening each step of the way. It definitely made me feel more comfortable. John and Rick have this place decorated really nice. It was very clean, and well thought out. I just wanted to again say thank you to John and Rick for the excellent service they provided.

When we lost our beloved dog, Chewy, our veterinarian suggested Family Pet Mortuary for cremation services. My husband and I did not know what to expect, however this company far exceeded our expectations. The box was lovely, and had a golden plate with her name engraved on it. Also included was a nice card, signed by the Crematory Director and witnessed. To top it all off, there was another card with a stamped medallion, as further evidence of their impeccable standards. We highly recommend Family Pet Mortuary!
