I went to Canal Veterinary Hospital for a second opinion for the care of my elderly dog. It was by far the best choice to be made. They have been very careful to balance his treatment always making sure I have all the options explained. I can not recommend them higher!

The only vet in the central valley that could take a new patient within a few days...everyone else was months out and we needed someone asap. The entire staff is extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Larsson and Dr. Heather are great. Highly recommend.

I had my kitten Babe for only a season. I have dogs at my ranch and I love them but I’d never had my very own pet so Babe was different from the rest. Babe was a stray, given to us by my moms coworker. This was a new experience for both me and Babe. I can’t even tell you how many times I called the clinic to ask a million questions. They were always happy to help and I can’t thank canal vet enough for their support. I know they did everything they could to save my Babe, she was so special to me. Babe isn’t with me anymore and I’ll miss her forever but I find a lot of comfort knowing she was in good hands. Thank you so so much to everyone at canal vet ❤️

Everyone at Canal Vet was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our cat had a nasty ear infection and there wasn't an opening for a formal appointment but they allowed us to drop her off and they would examine her when they found a little time. Thank you for going the extra mile forcus!

I am in love with every single individual here at Canal Vet. Their poise, their character, kindness, genuine love, humble / modest behavior, competence, friendliness, and that family-like 'feel' goes beyond one can imagine. From Julie to Dr. Heather - they are such amazing human beings. Dr. Heather is by far one of the best vet's I have ever encountered here in Turlock...if not the ONLY one. If you love your pets, bring them to Canal Vet. Unlike so many places here, they're not about the money - they actually care about your pets. They take each and every single case personal and tailor their steps to meet the pet's needs. Dr. Heather helped me in a way that I can never forget. She held my hand not as just someone who brings her animals there, but as a friend as a human being. And her guidance saved my dog. My dog is my life and what she did for me and how her staff is so caring ... will be something I will cherish , remember, and respect for life.

I had a horrible experience with my dog at Monte Vista Vet. I only went there because it was after hours at Canal Vet. Ended up leaving and next day brought my dog back to it's favorite vet, Canal. I just wish they had emergency hours. They are the best!!! And everyone that works there is awesome, and so caring.

I recently move to Turlock, my shih tzu is 10 years old, been to different vets. This is the first time I found a vet that meets all the qualifications for me to never take my dogs to a different vet. I got a full report of Mandy’s health. Doctor took her time to sit next to me and explain what was going on with Mandy.

I found Canal Veterinary Hospital when I needed urgent care services for my aging cat, Pepper, who was in obvious pain for a reason I couldn't determine. The veterinary office I was familiar with was two weeks out on appointments - Pepper couldn't wait that long. I began calling every veterinary office in my area, with no luck of getting her in quickly - until I reached Canal Veterinary Hospital. Like the previous 4 offices I had contacted, they were booked out for several weeks. Even so, the clerk was kind enough to ask what the issue was. After describing that my Pepper was in obvious pain, she managed to get her in, between other appointments, that same day. It was at that appointment that I discovered the level of care my pets (3 dogs & 2 cats + ) had been missing out on. Dr.Larsson was quickly able to determine the cause of Peppers pain, and prescribe a (very affordable) treatment plan for her. I was amazed at the comfort level Pepper projected during the visit, (animals are the best judge of people). I had expected her to be terrified, as she was a barn cat that was not used to such experiences, but she seemed so relaxed. That is the day I discovered the BEST Veterinary Hospital I could ever hope for. I have since been back and they were just as amazing! I recommend them to anyone and always will.

Affordable, and friendly staff. Doctors and staff provide your pet with gentle , patient and knowledgeable care. Treating them as if they were their own. If you go somewhere else your wasting your time and throwing your money away in a stressful environment. Why not take you pet to the place most pets prefer , your pet deserves it. Meet Christmas as you can see she agrees this is the best.

I foster kittens and have needed to take some to Canal Vet. Everyone there is friendly and compassionate. My kittens have received excellent care. The Vets take time to explain what is going on, and the appropriate treatment.

This Place is Beyond Excellent, the people that work there to DR.Heather . She is OUTSTANDING, KIND, CARING, LOVING, DOES NOT PLAY WITH YOUR EMOTIONS IN A FALSE WAY. MY FUJI HAS BEEN HEALTHIER THERE SINCE WE GOING IN THESE LAST TWO YEARS, HAPPIER, EATS WELL, LOVESSS TO WALK, AND IS FUNNY, BUT, LOVING.
