A mixed-style training facility that also has in-house day care and boarding. We and several of our friends have trained our dogs here and I can say without a doubt that they have figured out how to help you have a well trained and well mannered dog. You can attend group classes and train yourself, or you can have your dog board with them and be trained at the same time, I just have your dog with them while you are out on vacation. To be clear though, as a mixed style facility, they use a combination of positive reinforcement and correction. If you want only positive reinforcement for your dog, look elsewhere. That said, if you do choose to come here, you can be sure to get great results if you do your part. We'll bring all our dogs here, always.

I highly recommend this place. I took my dog there for a week for board and training while I was on vacation. Before my vacation, she was very aggressive, stubborn, and had bad behavior. I thought she was untrainable. When I came back, I was surprised by the results and how behaved I got her. It was very pricey but it was worth my money. Plus, the staff are very helpful and thorough. Amy and her staff took the time to evaluate my dog and Alex was a very helpful trainer and walked me through most of the training. I will be continuing her classes with them.

Thanks to K9 development for training my fearful, antisocial, skittish dog. Amy and Jack were very helpful and truly took the time to explain training to us. Because of their classes we have applied it to both of our dogs and constantly get complimented on how well behaved our dogs are! I highly recommend taking your dog here.

We booked an appointment in order to have our dog evaluated for aggressive behavior and I have never met a more honest person who truly understands her field and Industry during the evaluation period with us and our dog she evaluated us as owners and expressed some of our strengths and weaknesses and really gave us a battle plan to improve our dogs overall demeanor. We're going to be continuing classes there as we were able to visibly see a difference in the animals on site as well as in our house just after one visit

Amy and her team surpassed my expectations for training my dog Queso! He’s 4 years old and stubborn so I thought he’d be untrainable but Alex worked diligently for 3 weeks and I came to pick up a brand new dog! Alex took her time to teach me one on one how to maintain training once back at home and I can say my entire family is thankful for Queso’s newly learned manners. I’m glad I found K9 Development for training, boarding, and day care overall highly recommend!

I absolutely adore K9 development. We have been apart of there family for only a couple of months, started with private classes with Amy, and have started group class with Jack. I have learned so much from both and my American Bully has gone from a scared 6month old untrained guy to Him and I being a great team! Will be there for years to come!

I noticed differences/ improvements after the first class. They are very helpful. Even in the group setting they ardently try and help each pet and owner.

Highly recommend. Sent our aggressive rottie there for board and train after all else had failed. He is a new dog. We can take him anywhere now. We are so grateful.

I highly recommend K9 development. Amy and her team are very knowledgable and run a top notch kennel. I have a pit Bull who needs training and socialization with other dogs. So I trust K 9 development to accomplish the training my dog needs. The kennel is clean and perfectly set up for caring for your dog. There’s no crazy barking or crying going on.. Just a peaceful space. It’s great for day care too. Well worth the drive. I really liked Amy and all the staff. You can tell she gives it her all. Everyone is genuine and care about helping you with your dog.

Took care of our Rusty very well, we dropped him off a few times now, a couple overnighters and a couple times just for a few hours. One time we asked if they did hair cuts, the girl there was nice enough to trim him up a little bit and even cut his nails even though they don't offer that service, that was very nice. All the girls there that i have met were very friendly, Rusty seemed to like them. Overall it's been great coming to k9 development and we'll be back very soon

Love the attitude. Very healthy approach to looking at dog training and life. Only downside is that bathrooms sparse for everyone but the dogs.

can someone tell me how much it is and is this like a police level training place because my german shepherd has been very naughty and she likes to jump on doors and windows and kitchen counters and we want her to the point she is strictly trained is this a good place?

This is one of the worst traing classes i have ever been to the trainer smokes his helper is rude. When you ask for help the cant even help you. They talk about nothing for the whole class ,not fun

Jack is super knowledgeable about dog behavior and human interaction, and how they effect one another. Has an amazing ability to take his training apart and re introduce it understandable portions. For both the human and the dog. Has worked with many different trainers European and American.

Wonderful training and boarding service!

I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Amy is amazing how she can control a large group of dogs. I feel very safe leaving them, when we go on vacation. We also have done dog training for a couple years now. When people meet our dogs they are amazed how well they behave. I also admire how they have taken in dogs that would otherwise be euthanized and turns them around to be adoptable.
