Took our newly adopted Husky in for grooming. We usually use their mobile services for our other dogs. Our Maui was washed and brushed silky smooth. Very happy with everything.

The mobile service is awesome. We’ve been using them for about a year now and are happy with the cuts and professionalism.

Who are professional groomers at Lucky Dawg Pet Salon? One of my dogs got the injury and pain at this salon on 10/15/2021. 1. The appointment with Cyian(don't know her name spelling); however; a different lady did the nail trims and shaving paws. I was told that Cyian was doing Shampoo position, and she cannot do the shaving paws yet. Why the salon recommended me her? What kind of appointment system at this salon??? 2. The lady did too much cut the nail and the nerve. There was "Blood". She denied it. The "Blood Stop Power" put into one nail. I know what happened inside this salon. The owner, Mike, his response was that "this salon always put this powder because the powder can keep nails as much as short". I can't believe he said this. As a business owner, he should consider the situation, not make a lie. Even this is not good excuse at all. Mike also said that " it is not injury and no pain". It is the injury and pain. Don't you accept what your salon did? You need honesty for the dogs / cats and their owners. People including me do the mistakes. The most important is after the mistakes. I hope you got it my meaning. 3. Mike told me that Cyian is learning step by step about grooming job. She is learning nail trims and shaving paws. She is not a professional groomer yet. Mike, you need to tell the customers when NOT professional groomers who are learning position do some jobs to dogs/cats. If you told me this when I make the appointment, I didn't bring my dogs to Lucky Dawg Salon Pet Grooming. However I understand that people have to learn, but this was not excuse against me at all. I don't want my dogs and other dogs to be the EXPERIMENTAL for your business. 4. Mike, I always paid with tips BEFORE I saw the results of the grooming even though my dog got the injury. I trusted your salon always, but I paid the grooming charges and tips to the person who is a unknown learning position. It is ok to pay for the charge, but I want to see the result and pay the tips. If you provided professional jobs always with professional groomers, it is ok to pay all before the results because there is Trustworthy between your salon and the customers, but there is not trustworthy nowadays at your salon. This is not right business at all. You told me that you have 4 professional groomers at your salon. I thought you have many professional groomers. Mike, you show, teach and tour your business to the students who are from the different country. I hope you don't teach the students how to trick the dogs/cats and pet owners, and how to do the Experiment for our family members, dogs and cats. Mike, you told me this is a family business. Yes, I know it. That's why I chose your salon. I thought you and your employees took care dogs/cats very well, like their family. I told you at that time that I had a business meeting. We just talked about your business. We thought your business in Torrance was very successful and very honest business. I really respected your business; however; my experiences at your salon, and your business concepts of dogs/cats/owners are very disappointed me deeply. I think you forgot the grooming business / Pet industry 101. Very disappointed.

They take really good care of your pet, My Max is scared of everything and when he walks out of there he has the confidence of a lion. Over time I think he will enjoy going. I highly recommend them!!

This place is the best! I’ve been taking my cat here for the past year and they always take great care of him. Since Covid started they now offer easy curbside drop off and pick up. They even return him wearing a cute bandana. If you’re looking for a place to groom your fur baby I highly recommend giving them a try, I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

I took my dog for the first time today. I booked a appointment in advance. They were very friendly over the phone, an even more amazing in person. Jessica even took the time to have a consultation with me and my dog out in the parking lot. We were both using face mask she made my dog feel so comfortable and I'm so happy to have found this place. They did an amazing job on his haircut.

My rescued dog Mr. Flint is 3 years old with a severe trust issues (won’t let human touching him) and anxiety, I’m his 5th mom and he has been with us for 8 weeks. So for his first grooming in 5 months I had to give prescriptions meds to mildly sedated him and used muzzle (he bit me bad as I was putting it on). During the 75min ordeal, groomer Dria remained calm and professional thought out and finished the job. I would have completely understand if she quit and left. Even she was bitten she showed compassion towards my dog. I cannot thank her enough for her service today. So yes, I highly recommend Dria (sorry i got your name wrong) Thank you so much. Happy holidays.

They did a really nice job with my Labradoodle. He had unfortunately had a lot of matting when I brought him in, and he did have to be shaved down shorter than usual, but the staff was courteous and professional about explaining my options with his haircut due to the circumstances. In the end he still looked handsome and was very happy with his new Doo. Also, the team was very quick, and did a fabulous job with his nails and other services. I will definitely be back.

Though my wife and I live in New York, whenever we visit family out in the Los Angeles area, we always take our dogs to Lucky Dawg to get groomed. Our groomer Vivian always does a fantastic job with our golden doodle and the value is exceptional, especially compared to NYC prices. The staff is super friendly and has excellent COVID safety protocols. Highly recommend this groomery!

My cat got sprayed by a skunk and we called three places before our vet recommended Lucky Dawg. They had a drop-off parking spot right in the front, so drop-off, pick up, and payment was easy. Cats don't like being bathed, but she smelled good and took a long nap when she got home!

I have an elderly special needs Sheltie, the groomers here have her out in about an hour and a half and do a great job keeping her calm and relaxed so she doesn't have a seizure from being in a stressful environment!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I've been a client with Lucky dog grooming for quite some time, but after a horrible experience, I will never book with this company again, from the staff being very unprofessional and hanging up before I can get a final word in to multiple booking mistakes. I schedualed a week in advanced, I spoke with Alison booking me for 9am with George. He arrived earlier than expected around 8:20am. I had already schedualed my day and had to drive back home, he called me, sounded intoxicated. When I arrived he didnt get out of his vehicle, acted like he didnt know where we lived. Turned on his car and left to coming back around to insult my husband with an absolute horrible attitude. There is absolutely no care for Customer Service. Please Do Not Hire this company if you care about your animals.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DON'T USE!!!! I used Lucky Dawg on a few occasions before one of their groomers injured my bichon. Late 2018, about 15 minutes into grooming my dog she called me to the truck and told me blood was coming from my dog's eye but she didn't know why. I rushed my dog to the vet and was told a blood vessel in my dog's eye had burst most likely from chocking on the leash. I confronted the groomer and owner, neither would fess up to the tragedy or showed remorse. I was mortified to learn I entrusted my beloved pet to someone like this! In response to Mike, what else are you going to say, you want business you don't want to face the truth. I spoke to you, your mom and Lupe and you were asking about payment, you were not concerned about my dog that your groomer had chocked until they broke a blood vessel in his eye. Further, your groomer did not ask me to take Tiger to the Vet, if you see your dog's eye bleeding, what would you do? Further, if my dog was acting agressive (which is your cover and totally untrue) why not call me to the van to try to calm him down? Because that is hogwash designed to make potential customers think you have legitimate compassion about dogs. My position remains, If anyone cares about the safety of their dog(s)...DON'T USE LUCKY DAWGS!!!!

Great service. We have a 10 year old shepherd going through beginning stages of hip dysplasia. Groomer was very friendly and attentive to her hind legs. Dog is always excited she even walks herself straight to the grooming van herself.

Expensive and overpriced. You can get an organic groomer elsewhere for $30, it comes out to $75 here with tip for just a bath, overcharged at ridiculous prices, it’s simply not worth it. I’ve been coming to this place for two years and I’ll no longer be using their services. They way over charge for minimal services. I’ve called around and found better places with organic baths for a better price, which include trimming and nails. After being a client for two years, they would only give me walk in appointments. It’s rather rude, they have no customer loyalty, they lack business ethics.

Think twice before you come here!! We really wanted to get our dog groomed here but we never had the chance. The review is based on my multiple phone conversations with the manager. Unfortunately our Aussie mix was mistreated at her previous grooming at a different location so we are super nervous about taking her elsewhere. A lot of places in nyc (where we live) have started offering live videos of their groomings to assure the pet owners of how their animals are being handled. I totally understand and respect the fact that they don’t allow owners to be in view of their pet being groomed for safety reasons and ease of grooming. I explained my concerns about our dog and now my concerns moving forward for our 6 month old puppies first groom. We really want to ensure that it is a healthy, safe and positive experience. We are willing to pay anything we have to, in order to make sure our pups are treated properly. I inquired about their mobile grooming and salons services. She said we would not be able to be there for the grooming which again, we totally understand. I asked if there was anyway we could watch a video after of our pups being groomed. She said no. I asked if there was anyway to have a groomer set up their phone or ours (whoever...anybody’s) in the grooming room on so that we could watch a life FaceTime of the grooming. She said no. I inquired about the reason behind this, to which she has no response other than we don’t want to. Of course it’s their right to decided what they will and won’t do. I will say, if I am not in the room in order to make the groom easier for them, will pay whatever it takes, have offered to leave my phone in there for FaceTime (no recordings at all) it seems that there must be something shady happening that they don’t want to be seen. This is HIGHLY concerning and I would think twice before bringing your pups here. She said she wasn’t going to argue with me but that their groomers are certified and won’t hurt our pets... do you think that the groomers in all of those videos at petco would have told you ahead of time that they abuse animals? Probably not. The only real way to verify that is to see it happen, so if you don’t pose a danger or hinder the groomer, and will pay whatever you need to just to be able to see it after the fact or on a live video I really don’t see the reasoning behind this closed and absent minded policy. To be fair, she didn’t have a reason either. She just said she didn’t want to. I tried to explain my thoughts and and I’m sure other people’s concerns about the way their animals could be treated but she wasn’t interested in learning or expanding what type of services they provide. Such a shame to be so close minded especially for someone who is just trying to protect their pet, while also doing it in a way that complies with the groomers ease as well.

My dear friend’s small dog died at the hands of LD’s groomer who had worked for the company over 11 years. He was fired and they paid for the doctor’s bill, but still. The groomer brought the pooch to the owner sayin, “your dog is having seizures and I don’t know why.” Instead of saying that he may have dropped the dog or what have you, he left them in the dark until the emergency room vet summizef that it is probably what happened. Stay with your local groomer and avoid these grooming truck. I’ve had past issues with them as well.
