Country Hills Animal Clinic Torrance, California

Country Hills came highly recommended for my 4 lbs dog who needed to be spayed. I was worried going under general anesthesia would be too much for her but the vet assured me they would use special monitoring instruments and heating pads to keep her safe during the procedure. Other vets I spoke to told me they would not do anything special or different for my tiny dog because it was unnecessary. I don’t know what the actual medical needs are, maybe I was being paranoid but the point is, Country Hills understands that our pets are precious family members and addressing the anxieties of the human patients are as important as treating the animals.

Over the years, I have experienced several veterinarian clinics. Country Hills in Torrance, California has been one of the best. The staff is courteous and efficient and most important, the vets are outstanding. Their training is excellent, they truly care about their patients, they follow through on the needs of the patient and are available by phone when necessary. The office is consistently clean. It is a true pleasure to write this review; I recommend them without reservation.

Dr Elliott is Amazing!! We switched to this Animal Clinic for our dog over a year ago and have been very impressed with Dr Elliott's care and professionalism. She has taken great care of our little dog and we highly recommend Country Hills Animal Clinic to everyone.

I have been going to Country Hills Animal Clinic since 1993. Dr Smith was wonderful and Dr Cassidy is wonderful too. Lately they have had a large turn over in staff I had made a error in my appointment for my dog. I had the right time but wrong day. When I walked in I announced who I was and my dog. The front desk didn’t say anything to me. They allowed me to sit down and wait. They took everyone in who came in after me. I waited for almost a hour. When another client was being invited to the exam room. I asked if she would verify that the wound on my dog was healing. I was there the week before it was not healing. She said a ticket wasn’t made because I appeared on the wrong day. Why wasn’t I told when I arrived? Dr. Cassidy please talk to your staff on how to treat clients. You will lose clients because of poor client interaction with your staff

I did a lot of research before choosing a new vet. I live in Redondo Beach, so I had to drive past a few dozen other vets to see Dr. Cassidy. Her education at UC Davis is as good as it gets. She and her staff went out of their way to accommodate and treat my 101 pound Cane Corso. He and I will be going there from now on.

Kobie says he loves Country Hills for all his Vet needs. Dr Cassidy is my vet and I love her so much. Everyone at this clinic goes over and beyoind for all of us. Thank you Country Hills!!

I have been taking my cats to Country Hills for years. They have provided very competent and compassionate services and I highly recommend that you take your pet(s) there.

Love this place, they’re very thorough when taking a look at your dog, they’re also really nice and have almost no wait time when you arrive for your appointment. My dog is now back to being his normal self, and back to work as a service dog.

This was my first visit, and I liked the way the staff interacted with my me and my pet. Dr. Tong engaged with me, paid attention to my concerns and was very sweet with my dog. I particularly liked the way they treated her in the exam room with me instead of taking her in the back, because my little girl is a bit on the nervous side, and she's much more comfortable when I'm with her.

Country Hills Animal Clinic has taken care of our dog for his entire 17 years. They provided excellent diagnoses for all of his ailments. We can wholeheartedly say that he had such a long and wonderful life because of Dr. Tong and the staff at the practice. We had to euthanize our dog recently and Dr. Tong prepared us for the procedure. She and the staff treated him and us with such respect and compassion.

Our previous Vet diagnosed our dog w diabetes and lacked in service, communication and care for our pup. We were referred by Marilyn and made an appointment. Dr Elliott listened to us, reviewed our notes and believed in what we were doing. She was compassionate and understanding and we felt heard. That is what mattered most!!! So thankful we found her and she is now our pups Vet. The staff is awesome and friendly.

Had to put down my cat. Dr Tong was very respectful and explained every step so that we were not surprised at the cats reaction to the medications. Thank you so much Dr Tong

I have used Country Hills Animal Clinic for many years. Dr. Cassidy is the very best vet anywhere. She is smart, skilled and caring.

These guys are angels!!! My fear-aggressive schnauzer apparently peed on himself because he was scared at the office, and they kindly washed him off before bringing him out so we didn't hv to encounter a pee-wet dog. What a beautiful gesture and a consideration. The doctor is super nice and knowledgeable, answered my tedious questions with patience and explained why in easy-to-understand terms. Lol! And all this amazing experience while we are in Covid times. Highly recommend.

Our dog was sold to us with parvo. 2 days after getting him....he was in the fight for his life. Doctor Tong & Cassidy tag teamed his care and got us through. We almost lost him a couple of times but he made it. I will never take my animals anywhere else....you won't find a more kind and genuine staff anywhere else. They always love when I bring in Tucker, "the parvo survivor" "the warrior"...they have a few nicknames for him and they spoil him with love and kisses when he goes in. I have been taking animals here for over 20 years with a few years break in the middle when I lived up north. Anyway, if you are considering taking your pets here, DO IT ! You won't regret it!

Been coming here for over a decade. Could never imagine going anywhere else. They are kind, responsive, and caring. Recently had an emergency with one of my pets. Dr. Elliot was the only doctor on duty that day, and she still managed to squeeze Scully in. Just so grateful for all they do to treat our pooches like members of their own family!

I have been taking my two dogs to Country Hills Animal Clinic for several years. I feel comfortable in saying that I have complete confidence in the care I receive from each of the vets. I am always given options to treatment when available and consideration of cost. I have never felt that the clinic is overpriced or that care is compromised. The vets are caring and give me the time I need to understand and make decisions about my dog's treatment. I find the vet techs to be competent and caring and the front office staff is always helpful . I am so happy that I found a clinic that is personable and makes a point to connect with me about my dogs.

This clinic observes COVID safety protocols. They took excellent care of my animal. Moreover, there was a billing issue that they readily rectified.

Took my dog in to have her first checkup last Thursday, the staff is super nice and she came out significantly happier than any other dog that's been to the vet so I'd highly recommend this clinic.

We have been using Country Hills for 2+ years with our 2 cats. The service is always great. The team is professional and courteous, and they recently introduced the ability to book appointments online - which is awesome. Dr. Elliot is amazing. She takes the time to listen and truly cares for our cats' well being. We wouldn't take our cats to anyone else.

So helpful! Our kitty had an injury to the eyelid that swelled up really fast. Clearly the clinic was busy but managed to fit us in that day. The treatment is working and we are relieved. Thank you to the team for getting us in and out in a timely manner. They took appropriate covid precautions so we never went in. They come out and manage the whole thing outside with you in your car. Couldn’t ask for more. Good folks!

I have been taking my little Calico Cat to Country Hills since I adopted her 12 years ago. They have been the best and they keep her healthy and up to date on all her needs. The staff is wonderful and like family. They take such awesome care of my little one. =)

Great staff, expert knowledge doctors. Would highly recommend, after finding them I would not bring my pets anywhere else.

We have been taking our cats and dogs to Country Hills Animals Clinic for almost two decades. We absolutely love and trust all three vet doctors and staff. Dr. Cassidy even came to our house when we had to put our beloved bulldog down due to lymphoma. Her treatment extended his life by 7 months when his prognosis was only 2-3 months. I can't say enough about home much their care and support means to us. I highly recommend you take your fur babies to Country Hills Animals Clinic.

These young dedicated vets are so caring and compassionate with their pet patients. I will always go here even though i live in Long Beach. I trust them and they always do their best.

Country Hills has a great caring staff snd it's drs are the best! Dr Tong is wonderful - my dog gets very nervous with people but she wins him over everytime with treats. She always explains in simple ways how to keep him healthy! Thank you Country Hills!!

We have been patients of a lot of veterinary clinics in different states. By far, the Country HIlls Animal Clinic is one of the very best! Collectively, they are super attentive, use state of the art technology and are very caring to both our furry animal member and us, too! We have seen every one of the veterinarians and each one is terrific. Many of our friends also avail themselves of this clinic. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

I highly recommend Dr. Elliott. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate! I recently had to have a tumor removed from my dog and she was very skilled in removing it. I’ve been going to her for years and just love her and all the staff! They fit you in emergencies, they are competent and they follow up after procedures to see how my pet is doing. I can’t thank them enough!
