We took our great dane puppy because she kept on peeing frequently. We thought it could be some type of urinary tract infection. A gentleman who has tattoos on his arms assisted us (PLEASE AVOID)! We mentioned what the issue was. He did some blood work and said it showed she was anemic and did some other tests. And said she had kennel cough. We insisted that was not the issue but ignored us and sent us with medication for a cough and said that would help with the frequent urination. After 5 days later we noticed she seemed to get worse. Less energy and excessive urination. We decided to take her to “ Hospital de Mascotas SAJI”( Highly recommend). It turns out she has a very high fever, her bladder is extremely inflammed, and severe damage to her kidneys. Im at the hospital at the moment, theyre doing an ultrasound. But this could of been prevented, because of this employees ignorance now my puppy is suffering the consequences. I should have never trusted this place. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!

This place is always packed, with good reason. Dr Zoo gives my pets the best care they've ever received, for a fraction of the price of any California vet I've been to. I drive down from LA because it's worth it.

I took my small dog for a check up since she had really bad breath and they told me she just needed a teeth cleaning. They "cleaned" her teeth. I saw no real change but I thought "hey they are the experts I shouldn't think much of it." Then went there a second time for another cleaning but this time I was unsure and although I expressed concern to them, they told me she was fine. I went elsewhere for a second opinion. Turns out she had a severe gum infection and had to have almost of all her teeth taken out. When the other vet from the other clinic cleaned her teeth they actually looked clean. This vets are highly negligent and dismissive.

You have to pay for “parking” even if you’re just dropping your dogs off. Not much but have your pesos ready. Took my 3 dogs to get groomed. I called before hand to make an appointment because they were due for their shots. The girl told me I didn’t need an appointment just to arrive early so the vet can do the shots and answer some questions I had. We got there at 12:20. Our appointment was at 1:00pm for the groomer. They asked me to wait so the vet would take my dogs. I waited one hour for them to tell me that the shots were done after the grooming (when the vet came out he told me). They were super busy so he dismissed me when I asked him a question regarding a bump on my dogs chest out in the open because he wasn’t going to see my dogs until after the grooming. I came back around 5 hrs later to get my dogs, get tags, and ask a couple questions about teeth cleaning, etc. They were groomed, with no shots, and I later found out my dog had an cornea rip from the grooming. So, no shots, bad grooming and a $250 dollar vet bill in San Diego to spare (for pain medication, a cone, and antibiotics). It was not organized what so ever. I like to give benefit of the doubt but not at my pet’s expense. Took my services elsewhere.

Dont bring your pets to this vet.. my baby girl had surgery on one of her leg.. when she came back for a check up and had to stay for the night.. they called the next morning and told me she died from a blood clot.. I asked them for a picture of her because I couldn’t pick her up to proof me she was dead and I never receive it..

Great service. Super close to the border. I pay 200 pesos for each consultation for my dog, which is about $10 currently right now. If my dog needs meds, that's additional but also extremely affordable compared to U.S. prices.

Quick service my cat got in a fight , 3 small wounds fast service great with my cat and in expensive and a shot for infection prevention will return wed for fallow up, I recommend this vet.

You can tell he really cares about animals.

DONT BRING YOUR LOVED PETS HERE ! MY POOR 9 MONTH OLD YORKIE HAD MESSED UP HER LEG ( NOTHING MAJOR ) AND I TOOK HER HERE SHE GOT IT FIXED AND ONE WEEK LATER I BROUGHT HER FOR A CHECK UP THEY ASKED ME TO LEAVE HER OVERNIGHT. THE NEXT DAY SHE DIED UNDER THEIR SUPERVISION. PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW A DOG STARTS COUGHING UP BLOOD AND DIES AT HER OVER NIGHT CHECK UP FOR A NOT EVEN BROKEN LEG AFTER A WEEK OF BEING PERFECTLY FINE FROM HER FIRST SURGERY THERE. THESE VETS KILLED MY POOR BABY. DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE !!!

I’ve been attending this veterinary and used there grooming ser used since it’s opening in 1994 aprox. Wonderful staff conveniently located as soon as you cross into tijuana and parking is very cheap. I usually go to movies close by while my dog is getting geoomed

My dog had an accident and required stitches. It would have cost me almost $1,000 or more in the US for stitches and anesthesia. There it was under 200. They also do grooming and nail clipping. Very professional and nice people with good service.

This is a great place good prices the Drs are really kind and treat your dog with love and respect

I really had an awesome experience. Friendly staff, clean place, and nice vet. My dogs had a dental cleaning, I was scheduled at 11 am, and I got told to come back at 3-3:30 pm. I called before 3:30 pm and they were ready. I only paid $100 dollars per dog. It was worth it. I wish i can leave closer from the border and have this vet. as my dogs regular vet. Thank you
